I purchased a TV 14 moths ago (being two months out of warranty) and for some reason it has stoped working. I spoke with Dan this morning who is an expert in the field. He put me in contact with Samsung and went above and beyond. Should I have no luck with them I will be back in to purchase another one from him he was not pushy and a first class experience in customer service. Such a refreshing change.

The staff at this store are amazing. 90% of them are willing to help you every step of the way. None of the staff will try to sell you something you don't need or that they are an expert in and will get someone who is an expert in what you are buying. We ordered many appliances and ran into problems with delivery. A manger was able to help us and made sure everything was going to arrive when it worked for us. I would recommend this store to everyone and especially Victor who helped us on the floor with finding what we needed.

I've bought a few electronics and appliances here and have always found the service here great.you can also recycle your electronic/computer waste here by giving it to the service desk which is awesome.

The staff is really helpful in the store. For example they will answer most of the questions directly and they will give you the best information with a better price. I bought a weight scale from Harvey Norman new farm yesterday, and the price match’s the value without a doubt. Without a doubt, Harvey Norman is the best electronic retailer store I have ever been. Everything looks fresh and new in the store, plus the customer service is great the staff is patient to explain a product for me how to use.

Shout out to Daniel in the kitchen section. Made it a dream to buy a washing machine, fridge and TV. Great knowledge, great service, on time, really courteous and not pushy.

Shout out to Jowel and Sam as well for professional delivery of the goods. They were on time, careful and so pleasant to deal with.

Customer service was non-existent - other than from Alana (the only person who understood my position; showed leadership and took charge). Empty promises and in action - from the rest of the HN sales representatives - resulted in it taking 20 calendar days to get a replacement for my broken Fitbit 3 [with initial promises being a few days - as it was only coming from another store in Brisbane! ]. Why would I ever purchase anything from HN ever again?

Fantastic service. They price matched the appliances we were getting and gave a further discount on the dryer. Very helpful and attentive.

Upsold to us on the freezer, but it was well worth the $50 difference, for auto defrost, 1 additional year on the warranty and better energy rating.

Very happy with our purchases here.

I purchased a number of kitchen items for a new build (fridge, oven, cooktop and dishwasher) from Matt Parsons and team at Harvey Norman. The service and communication to solve a couple of issues has been brilliant.

I purchased a phone that became faulty and had to be sent away for repairs three times. Gone are the days when HN will just swap it out for you in store which was pretty much the only reason I bought it from them. Anyway lesson learned and I will be buying my phones online going forwards.

Went into the store today to look for a TV. The guy from the TV department comes up to me and asks "Hello, are you seriously looking to buy a TV or just killing some time? " The first thing he had to ask me.
Wonder if he is for OR against Harvey Norman stores.

Pathetic customer service! Had gone to get a screen protector and buy a iPhone and was made to wait for 45 minutes and still not attended to. Despite asking for help.there was no executive to assist me! I left the store in disgust and will never go to your store ever. You just lost 2.5 K worth sales! If there was a zero star available I would have marked that.

Had a Sony TV that needed to be replaced under the Product Care package, the replacement offered by the claims team was ok but not up to standard, Matt from the audio/visual department called me as soon as the paperwork was received to ensue I knew what the process was but in turn had a far better resolution for me. In the end I got a far better product and was happy to even spend a little more in store to get exactly what I wanted.

Then when picking up the TV Matt has clearly called ahead to let the warehouse team know about the exchange as I had to drop off the faulty TV. They knew exactly what was going on and had my new TV waiting.

Definitely recommend the team in the valley and make sure you speak to Matt if your after a TV.

Worst service I ever had. I bought a TV and it went on backorder. No one could provide me with an estimated date. 1 month later I called the store and they mentioned it was available for pick-up, but in the system, it was still showing as backorder (what if I hadn't called). Then I wanted to know where to pick it up, I could not find online and had to call them again. The staff answering the phone were not friendly. Be aware that when trying to contact Harvey Norman you have to spare some time - Phone/WhatsApp/Email, they always takes ages to answer/reply. I would definitely not buy from them again.

Took 5 trips to this awful store to return an item that didn't work. Staff didn't want to help and blamed the manufacturer for the faulty product that Harvey Norman are selling.
Staff clearly indoctrinated to battle customers and send them away.
A profoundly unpleasant experience that is easily avoided by shopping online or elsewhere.

Visited the store this afternoon to pick up my order, but I have left my wallet at home.

Showed the manager a copy of my driver license and passport, the confirmation email with the order number but she said that it could photoshopped and couldn't release the order which I have already paid for!

I understand security, but this is beyond ridiculous! Like someone would go to all that trouble including plastic surgery to look like me just for a vacuum cleaner!

I will never shop again at Harvey Norman!

P. S. No wonder this store has so many one stars with a management that's stuck in the 80's!

Just went to buy 2 monitors. Waited for service never came. The three staff were too busy chatting to help. Won't be going back there.

Not allowed to exchange one item from the electronic section by another item from the homeware section. The manager claimed that those sections belong to different franchisees.
