We went for a trial and my son immediately loved it. The classes are very well structured and there are a few teachers per class to give attention to all. We are joining up and looking forward to a great year of training.

First timer to jujitsu and its the best decision I've made. Everyone is so welcoming. If you're thinking about doing starting up, this is the place to do it. Best on the Gold Coast.

I tried my first class last week and Coach Matheus and he was such a great teacher. I learned so much and really enjoyed the class. The people there are very kind and knowledgeable and felt so comfortable starting. Joao was great with helping me start and I felt inspired to commit to something that would help me in the future:)

We tried all the local jujitsu places before signing up my son with Gracie Barra Burleigh Heads. It had the right mix of discipline, community, respect and most importantly aircondlting. My son thoroughly enjoys the teachings, new friends and continues to be challenged. Joao in charge of the front desk is super helpful and goes out of his way to accommodate any concerns.

Our 8 year old son joined after a trial a couple of weeks ago. He absolutely loves the classes and the parents and kids class is fun too! The staff are all welcoming and friendly, yet strict and disciplined when they need to be.

GB is amazing. Kids love it, we love taking them. Staff are professional and always happy. Very accommodating with my little chatterboxes.

I've been training here for four months now and have really enjoyed my experience. The instructors are all very knowledgable and enthusiastic about teaching BJJ. The students are extremely welcoming and it is always a highlight of the day to walk into the gym. If you are looking for a BJJ gym to get great results in a supportive environment then this is the place for you!

During my first lesson I was thrown around like a sack of potatoes, my neck was choked and my arms twisted like a doll. What else could I expect? Beyond the initial pain it was incredibly fun and safe. The friendly members, instructor and staff welcomed me as I begun my journey in feeling more alive and healthy! The best part about training with the Gracie Barra Burleigh team is not just the skills and mindset you will learn that will change your life but the sense of community and brotherhood, its like being part of something bigger. Everybody is treated the same way regardless the skill level. I would strongly recommend doing a free trial and seeing it for yourself.
