ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING SERVICE. I wouldn’t spend my money here simply because of how rude the lady was. From the moment my sister and I walked in to order she was rude. After an incident occurred as my daughter had the first lick of her ice cream and it fell out the cone, I asked for a new one and was happy to pay, that escalated as she was rude once more and so we left. Might have nice food but that doesn’t mean much when you can’t have simple respect or speak to customers nicely.

The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. The owner of this business was so aggressive with her manner with me today. She exploded at me telling me I wasn’t listening to her. She spoke so fast I couldn’t follow what she was saying and when I asked a second time she exploded literally in front of everyone in the shop. I’ve never been so humiliated in my life. I told her that it was terrible to speak to me like she was and that only made her angrier and she repeated the same thing. ‘You’re not listening to me! ’
Quite a shock after a lovely day at the waterpark with my grand children.

Bought $200 dollars worth of food, asked for a cup to put ice in for water for my son.

Was told I need to pay. 05cents - agreed to pay the. 05 plus the eftpos charges.

Got told by management that I can’t have a cup of ice …. Not even if I pay for it because it’s not worth there while.

Disgusting meal, we complained, but not interested in our feedback. We ended up walking off, meal in the bin.

Tartare sauce - was off and not made correctly.
Chips - no chicken salt as requested. Calamari - very chewy, uneatable.
Gatorade - great.

Horrible service from one lady, when asked if she could add milk to my milkshake as it was disgustingly sweet. She moaned and said she doesn't know how to make them, put a milk on the counter for me and walked away! If she doesn't know how to make them, she shouldn't! Food not even salted, you have to do it yourself with 3 tiny sachets. Seafood bites, prawns, scallops and crabsticks all overseas cooked. Do not recommend! Will never be returning.

Very average food, very expensive, very rude staff, made us pay 20 just a piece of lemon and 50 c extra just for chicken salt. Will never eat here again

Terrible. Much more expensive and far less portion sizes than next door. Do yourself a favour and just go to Pelicans next door. Rip off. They didn’t even salt the chips or anything.

Today as I was on my way to the shop I noticed not one single person at Grace's takeaway and so many people at the take away shop 20m away.
I thought it must have been cuz the other place was nicer in appearance because I've always had such good food from Grace's in the past.
I ordered the same way and thing I always have and was very disappointed to see i had been given a salad instead of the pineapple fritters. The salad I would not eat at all. It was a pile of beetroot lettuce and onion, 3 slices of tomato and one piece of pineapple
When I asked the staff about it hoping it would be corrected they were very rude and blamed me
1/10 would not at all recommend to anyone
Save your money or go elsewhere

Do yourself a favour and find somewhere else to eat. On two seperate visits, which were two years apart, nothing has changed. The food is average at best and the service is just pathetic. The fact that it's across the road from a busy park is all it has going for it.

Person behind the counter dropped my sauces and expected me to pay for the replacement and the food was undercooked.

My family of were here yesterday all set for a fabulous day out and it was except for our $85 meal here of fish and chips and scallops and burgers I say this with absolute truth
This whole meal was absolutely disgusting the scallops were brown and nasty the burgers were dry and tasteless and chips were overdone absolutely no excuse for poorly cooked food! Either cook with a passion or don't would I eat here again definitely not.money don't grow on my trees I felt sorry for my grandchildren as I had to take them elsewhere to eat.

Service was horrible, there was a spill and they had the customer clean it up because they weren’t bothered to clean it.food was bland and stale.wouldn’t waste my money here.

Dry fish and the chips were not freshly cooked. We thought we were getting salt on our chips but they were cool, limp and bland. The fish was very thin which might explain dryness. It was a busy day, so not worth walikg back from the park to complain. Won't go back

If you want to have fresh fish & chips - Don’t go to Grace Takeaway. Their food is stale and unfresh. Yuk! Plus, when we explained this to them, the girl didn’t care at all as if to say we only serve ‘off food’.

Stay away.

Fish and chips were disgusting and i put $36 worth in the bin. Sea perch tasted like arm pit mixed with gym cheese.

Worst fish and chips in Australia

Ordered fish and chips for 2 and only got the fish. Returned to get chips and the fish went back in the hot box. When we got our correct order, the crumbed fish was small and heavily covered in salt, and the chips were under cooked. Very disappointed, won’t be returning.

Don't even waste your money or time here walk down the road and go elsewhere. Staff are absolutely rude! And food was terrible!

This shop is woefully kept, really dirty, service was SO slow and staff are rude and pushy. Everyone there was in some way annoyed, frustrated or standing waiting for slow service. I'd be VERY concerned about getting sick if you ordered anything here!

Avoid!

We had to walk out.stark contrast to the VERY clean and polite Mr Whippy truck 20m down the road.

If you're after soggy fish, undercooked chips and dreadful sevice then this is your place! Unbelievably disappointing to still have holes like this in beautiful Wynnum with an average house price of 800k up. Someone tale this over please and end that painful chapter of dread!

Extremely poor customer service, very rude and arrogant. Dirty shop, dirty tables, no covid dine in plan in place. Just nasty and we won't be back. Such a shame they have a prime esplanade shop front, very bad look for Wynnum
