Decent fish n chips, only a little over fair market price but with only 2 stores a stone's throw away from the popular part of Wynnum Jetty & park it's not too bad. The chips could of been a 10/10 if left to cook for another 30 seconds instead 6/10. Great service system though, that gets a 10/10.

Do yourself a favour and find somewhere else to eat. On two seperate visits, which were two years apart, nothing has changed. The food is average at best and the service is just pathetic. The fact that it's across the road from a busy park is all it has going for it.

Person behind the counter dropped my sauces and expected me to pay for the replacement and the food was undercooked.

My family of were here yesterday all set for a fabulous day out and it was except for our $85 meal here of fish and chips and scallops and burgers I say this with absolute truth
This whole meal was absolutely disgusting the scallops were brown and nasty the burgers were dry and tasteless and chips were overdone absolutely no excuse for poorly cooked food! Either cook with a passion or don't would I eat here again definitely not.money don't grow on my trees I felt sorry for my grandchildren as I had to take them elsewhere to eat.

Service was horrible, there was a spill and they had the customer clean it up because they weren’t bothered to clean it.food was bland and stale.wouldn’t waste my money here.

Dry fish and the chips were not freshly cooked. We thought we were getting salt on our chips but they were cool, limp and bland. The fish was very thin which might explain dryness. It was a busy day, so not worth walikg back from the park to complain. Won't go back

If you want to have fresh fish & chips - Don’t go to Grace Takeaway. Their food is stale and unfresh. Yuk! Plus, when we explained this to them, the girl didn’t care at all as if to say we only serve ‘off food’.

They done do the best fish burger in town snd their hamburger is right behind it. Just quality everys times you goes in theres

Fish and chips were disgusting and i put $36 worth in the bin. Sea perch tasted like arm pit mixed with gym cheese.

Worst fish and chips in Australia

Ordered fish and chips for 2 and only got the fish. Returned to get chips and the fish went back in the hot box. When we got our correct order, the crumbed fish was small and heavily covered in salt, and the chips were under cooked. Very disappointed, won’t be returning.

Fantastic value for money to match great cooking, presentation and quantity. We couldn't ask for more. Will definitely be ordering more from Grace on a regular basis.

Rude staff. I asked if they offered plain (no crumb) grilled fish.
"If your ordering it due to allergy, I wont be able to take your order"
"Sorry!? "
"We don't take orders if you have allergies"
Well, I wasn't, but seriously.how rude.
Also, if people have allergies, how about you give them the info and they maked their own informed decision on what to order or avoid? Restaurants normally have a disclaimer on the menu and that is accepted.every other eatery I have ever been to.
I do have a child with a shellfish allergy (he was not with me on this occasion) and am aware of risks and questions to ask. We then make an informed choice if it's safe to order food. I've never been refused service.

Anyway. Pelican's Nest a few doors up was outstanding.

Don't even waste your money or time here walk down the road and go elsewhere. Staff are absolutely rude! And food was terrible!

Friendly staff, no issues. The quality of ingredients was sub standard. Chips undercooked, subjective I know but these were undercooked. The Flake was $10.00 for a piece of very average fish. The calamari was rubbery, we’ve had fish and chip calamari that wasn’t rubber. The main issue I had was the quality of ingredients! I don’t have any issues paying extra for better quality which is what you’d expect at these prices for a “fish and chippery. ” Next time we’ll try the other shop 2 doors down.

Nice corner spot to munch on seafood and snacks watching the world go by or watching the tide go u and out on the bay

This shop is woefully kept, really dirty, service was SO slow and staff are rude and pushy. Everyone there was in some way annoyed, frustrated or standing waiting for slow service. I'd be VERY concerned about getting sick if you ordered anything here!

Avoid!

We had to walk out.stark contrast to the VERY clean and polite Mr Whippy truck 20m down the road.

I caught a fish here. I walked in with my rod and flung it over the counter caught a fish on it, flipped it over into the fryer, knocked a bag of chips in too for good measure. Then the lovely lady behind the counter wrapped em up for me. Little bit of lemon in there too

The food is always fresh and beautiful but the qunatity of food what I asked was very poor and the wait time was ridiculous 45 minutes.

If you're after soggy fish, undercooked chips and dreadful sevice then this is your place! Unbelievably disappointing to still have holes like this in beautiful Wynnum with an average house price of 800k up. Someone tale this over please and end that painful chapter of dread!

Having had a few disappointing experiences here thought I’d give another chance. Calamari is definitely best value and serve in the area and, unlike last time, I did get a wedge of lemon. Served by a young girl who was just learning so the lady (who is lacking in service niceties) was just beside her. The potato scallops were nice but a bit oily. Would go again as it’s the best value in the area. I can cope with lady’s rude attitude as long as there is lemon
