Dear Marcus
Thank you for a copy of my invoice for Backpack Pullman Commander 900. Extremely happy with the vacuum and cut my cleaning time in half.
Appreciate your price matching with another supplier. Also big thanks for help with rigging/sizing up the equipment to fit on my back.
You were very professional and your product knowledge was top class.
Very happy:)
Kind regards
Tracey Segal

I purchased an expensive Ecovac Deebot Robot vacuum from this particular Godfreys store on the 6th September. Making several phone calls from the 6th to the 23rd and not getting any call backs as the manager does not accept calls over the weekends. I decided to approach the manager (Michael) of the difficulties I was having as a senior with my purchase and the App via my phone, expecting some kind of customer support or as it says on the receipt, refund. Unfortunately my time was up for the cooling off period 16th. After some deliberation I was shocked by the attitude of this man as he carelessly packed my vacuum back into the box walked himself to the front door of the store waiting with my purchase as he started calling me across the room to get out and leave. I couldn't believe what was happening. I sat in my car for several minutes and cried. I have known of Godfreys for well over 60 years as my parents owned vacuums purchased from them. This particular store is run as a franchise. When you have the caliber of staff and especially the manager who act in the way he did to a customer it gives Godfreys a bad name. I have been in contact with Head Office and am currently speaking to customer service from Melbourne who have a lot more curtesy and customer relations and have an exchange policy of 90 days.

Worst customer service experience. Twice!
In store for over 5 mins before even being acknowledged as a human.

I've bought my cleaning products there for over 5 years and Mike and his team are always friendly and helpful. There prices are very competitive, being a small cleaning business, price and quality is very important.

First one star review I’ve ever done all because of a $50 extension lead my wife was talked into buying. Apparently according to the salesman when we brought the cord it was more durable and long lasting than the $25 one. We rang the store spoke to Michael who spoke to Michael the owner and they decided they don’t have to replace a faulty extension lead that was only 6mths old and they classify it as a “consumable” not a product they need to stand by if it didn’t last a reasonable amount of time. Even after I rang the store and explained we had only used the cord for an hour or two each week. We also mentioned the we spend thousands of dollars there and send all our friends and clients there they still said no they won’t change it over. After talking over the phone a third time The owner did say “if you really want me to I’ll send it away and see if they can repair it. ” This means we will have to make another trip back to something that could have been done the first time. Ah well looks like we will just take our business to Bunnings for the extension cords and Harvey Norman when we need anything vacuum cleaning. They have a better range AND stand by the products they sell.

My wife was not offered a new one at 50% off Mike. She also said she didn’t say she pulled it to the last metre as that’s why you sold her the 20m lead. I can’t believe you own Burleigh and Bundall stores and you treat your customers this poorly for the sake of a power lead that probably costs you half the price you sell it for. You can see in the picture the tag is still on the lead, the silver writing and branding is still on the lead. As I said it has hardly been used. I will report this to your head office now.
