Had a wonderful experience today at Freedom maroochydore. Was served by Jo, she went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with my decision. Her knowledge and customer service skills were a high standard and very much appreciated. Will return.

Absolutely love Freedom. I've ordered large furniture on 3 separate occasions, mostly online with delivery to the Sunshine Coast. The delivery partner has been absolutely incredible every time - so timely and friendly. I live in a difficult area to deliver to and they have never complained. Ordering with Freedom makes me feel at ease compared to other stores. Would order again without hesitation.

Extremely disappointed with the delivery service, said they take upstairs but didn't.
Didn't remove the wrapping.
Didnt offer any rectification. Lucky it's comfortable at the moment or ide give a no star review haha

Paid over $5000 for a lounge after 3 months it is disgusting, as it has gone pilly, store at Maroochydore don’t want to know, when we tried to explain to the woman that it was bad and not fit for purpose, even tried showing her photos, wasn’t interested and just said contact head office through the website, they said it’s the fabric and we should have asked, totally washed their hands I asked for the Manager and he was the same. After reading other reviews the staff don’t give a S… and are just there to get their commission, if it could have been zero stars it would have been, phone call to the ACCC on Monday!

Ordered a table online and went in store to find some chairs to suit. After waiting at the service desk standing in front of LESLEY she didn’t look up to acknowledge me for a number of minutes and when I asked for assistance she was abrupt and dismissive leaving me feeling quite humiliated. We promptly left the store and I’ll be purchasing elsewhere.

Horrible customer service at this store. Very disappointed with how I was not offered with any greeting or any sort of assistance with my enquiry. Will not be back.

N. B. Freedom, by reading the other 1 star reviews of this store, it sounds like you need to be looking at employing new staff!

Customer service was appalling here. My wife, kids and myself were met with dismissive and uninterested behaviour by a staff member when asked about a product we were scoffed and treated as if we were unable to afford to purchase this product.

We walked out of there liking the product but reluctant to purchase of freedom maroochydore but ended up purchasing from freedom aspley instead from brittany.

Quality is good on some not on others price is high for what you get
A shame they don’t dress the shop for Christmas the way they used to
On the whole I would still shop here

Our experience at Sunshine Coast Freedom was nothing short of fantastic. The kind of service we'd like to receive everywhere, but all too often don't.
The team at SC Freedom were able to sort through a number of things we needed including returns, an online click and collect order under the wrong name, the return and quality controlling of a lounge chair that didn't meet spec, following up on voucher use, and about an hour's worth of advice, including follow up questions for curtains that we eventually ordered. All this whilst engaging with us in a friendly manner that made us feel valued as customers. Great work team!

I bought 5 frames from freedom in Maroochydore. Unfortunately, I have later discovered that one of the frames glass was broken so the store not only offered free of charge exchange but also organised delivery to my home FOC! I was happy to pay postage as we live a long way away from that store but they have just organised it all without a problem. I was very impressed by that service. Super easy, no fuzz and very customer oriented. Plus, the person on the phone, Mark, was very friendly and helpful! I have bought items form freedoms before an d never had issues before either. Outstanding service in my opinion and I would consider myself as a harsh critic! Well done!

Very poor customer service and returns policy. I was advised by staff at the Maroochydore store that they only had one bedside table clearance item available but that several Brisbane stores had stock available. I ordered over the phone from one of those stores and collected the items which were boxed. I was assured by the Brisbane store that if the items did not colour match the item on display at Maroochydore that I would be able to return the items to the Maroochydore store. The items were so much darker in colour than the one on display at the Maroochydore store and therefore did not suit the purpose for which they were bought. Freedom Maroochydore would not honour the returns assurance from the Freedom store in Brisbane. Freedom Maroochydore had not disclosed this information when telling me the items were available at other stores.

I ordered curtain tracks and curtains online, which arrived in two days!

Once they arrived they were easy to assemble and good quality but I had ordered wrong (I didn’t realise they were ‘one way pulls’ not pairs) so I went into Freedom Maroochydore and the staff were really polite and so helpful.
I have to rethink/measure how I will dress the windows but in the meantime, Karen gave me great advice, and Frances processed my refund immediately.

All around a great team and a great experience!

Freedom online review - Ordered a modular sofa mid 2021. It arrived very late 2021 after a 6 month wait.
Immediately reported some defects meaning half of it couldnt be sat on to warranty dept. Didnt hear anything back as it was Xmas NY and finally got a reply sometime in Jan 22. They sent out a sofa ‘tech’ and he said yep well that’ll need replacing and basically set the paper trail happening for it.
Freedom then offered a repair, saying they’d take it away and repair it. I told them that’s not good enough it’s brand new and defective I wanted a replacement. Heard nothing back for a month from freedom support. Got in touch over & over via email & online chat over 2 month period (the only communication method they don’t have a phone number) asking if replacement had been ordered. No replies. I had to get fair trading involved I was tired of waiting with a defective sofa that couldn’t be sat on & wanted a refund now to appease the wait we’d already had at this point 4.5 months from freedom with no outcome and no contact from freedom. Ironically even the lady at fair trading couldn’t get a hold of them. Finally they did. They said it was ordered but couldn’t prove it to them either. Freedom (Alison) contacted me via phone she was SO rude. And very aggressive in her approach. She said she’d ordered a replacement back in February 22. I asked for proof as the fair trading lady said they couldn’t supply her with that either. She said she would send proof of order back in Feb (by now it was April/May 22). Fair trading and I got nothing. Freedoms refused a refund but couldnt supply proof of order back in Feb for a replacement. Fair trading tried a few more times to get a response then closed the case as they couldn’t get freedom to agree to anything. So now it’s late June 22 and I’ve only just got an email with an order date and predicted arrival of the new sofa. By the time it arrives if it’s on time it will be 10 months post reporting the issue with the new sofa I got in Dec 21. Not good enough at all to have this sort of follow up from an ‘Australian’ company. No phone number to talk to them and instore can’t help at all they keep directing me to the freedom contact centre. I want a refund freedom, and do not want a replacement this many months waiting for contact (7 months so far & 10-12 months when and if the replacement arrives) is unreasonable to have been ignored, not responded to, and have made all the effort to resolve the problem caused by their product. I will never order from freedom again very disappointing and happy to share this hoping it helps someone else think twice offering from them.

Very Poor Quality. Bought 6 Dining Chairs and the legs started wobbling and wood breaking at the base. Spend your hard-earned money elsewhere!

We recently needed to fully furnish 4 homes in QLD (2 in Battery Hill and 2 in Bongaree). As we are based in South Australia, we needed someone to assist by visiting the properties and then advising which pieces would work best, then arranging delivery and set up of the items. We were absolutely delighted to be assisted by Karen Pryor, the Interior Designer at Freedom Maroochydore! Karen is outstanding in every way. From advising on the furniture and accomodating our requests to finding pieces that were already in stock and co-ordinating the delivery and installation, Karen went above and beyond. The homes looked amazing with all the furniture set up and she noticed all the little details and took care of things we didn't even think to ask for. Her communication was excellent and we felt very much that Karen included us in the decision making process, while she did all the hard work of making it happen!
Even our property manager commented that Karen is 'amazing' and said "I really do hope we get the chance to work together of more properties, your (Karen's) service has been outstanding. " On behalf of SK Property Group, I would be very happy to recommend Karen and Freedom Maroochydore to anyone needing great quality furniture with a specialist interior design service.

I knew what I wanted and Sales Associate Georgia was happy to oblige, I was afraid of covid delays in products as mentioned in these reviews but the lounge I wanted was in stock, and my delivery was arranged for this month. Competitively priced products with a unique style. A bit busy but it was a Sunday.

Very Very Disappointed in the customer service at this store.i bought a dinning table and 4 chairs back in Aug 2021 and still have not received it, i was advised when purchased it would take 3 months which i was happy to do.it has been 7 months and nothing but i have been advised for the 4 change of date i should get it MAYBE in April which will take it to 9 months and thats not a definite either.its getting beyond a joke now.personally if your buying something from here and have to wait i wouldn't bother.there has been no communication or follow ups from them the only time i am advised the date has been pushed out is when I CALL UP to find out whats the go as my furniture is ment to be here this week and thats when they tell me its been delayed again. I don't normally wright reviews but thought i should share my experience so far.

You pay a substantial amount for Freedom products but the follow-up service is disappointing. After waiting six months for a couch, I deliberately purchased a buffet that was in stock in Australia. It arrived in two weeks - hurray. Unfortunately, it arrived damaged. Two months later, I have now been told I need to wait for another 8 weeks to get a replacement. Obviously, there is now no stock. I have also been told I will need to pay again to have the buffet assembled. Hopeless.
