Great gym, absolutely fantastic well trained class instructors with Les Mills experience and a gym that is clean and equipped with modern exercise gear

Fitness First is, as always a premium gym, but with one consistent flaw that's been present since they opened when I was still a teenager.

They don't compare equipment with other gyms to analyse wether or not their equipment is as premium as their price tag. While having an Olympic swimming pool is awesome, GoodLife in Nerang for example has a superior range of facilities available for customers to utilise during their workouts. Including a simulated outdoor area and steam room / sauna etc. So considering the only negative thing I can say about the competition is that they don't have a pool, the price tag comparison doesn't look good.

Other than that, if it was the only gym in the area it'd be a 5 star rating so it is what it is.

I would say the facilities are amazing, the lay out and the bathrooms in general. Best gym I've walked into. The classes also are a hit! I love how there's a variety of people who come to this gym. However staff is probably the only down fall (behind reception). Come in late evenings and early mornings and some do not look happy to be there, approached one staff member about pt sessions and she had a bit of an attitude?

Great atmosphere and class timetable to suit morning or evening schedule -fabulous instructors who motivate you to exercise! Plenty of parking right outside which is a plus.

Every Staff member at Burleigh Waters are genuine. The feedback is important to the staff/management. Its a pleasure to come on a regular basis.

Disappointed that person behind desk didn't wear mask for the duration we were there (was around her neck)
Also person entering in front of us didn't use mandatory QR register, and wasn't asked to do so. Upstairs sanitary wipes were mt and not replaced.

A very big gym, thus difficult to keep everything maintained. All in all, the Manager does his best to keep all equipment working. Good classes, pool and sauna. Plenty of disinfection wipes in multiple locations, this gym takes its covid 19 safety plan very seriously.

Proper purposely built gym. Great facilities, loadsa included classes as many as you can do at no extra cost. They also sell dinners that are reasonably priced.

Dont join this gym, I told them I was leaving back to my country and wanted to cancel my membership, they froze it and once the covid restrictions went off and they opend, started charging me again. Making me impossible to leave been paying then for 2 months and finally they let me cancel it but make me pay for it.

Be good if the staff did the rounds now and then to see how many are not using towels. I only count 10 tonight not using them.so much for personal hygiene

Put up with some kind of wart on my foot for two years from going to this place for 4 years until doctor finally removed after 4 months but now have some other fungus due to poor toenails. Watched the cleaner do S bends with the mop. Disgusting dirty germ filled premium priced gym.

Thankyou so much to the ladies at the creche. The wonderful way Mianna looks after my son, Benjamin for these last 6years. In he's younger years he would run off from school, the shops, everywhere. Many people really struggled with the behaviours he had, however the wonderful child whisperer you are, he would stay with you. You get the toys he's interested in and create a wonderful environment. This makes me feel especially safe that he was in great hands! I am able to enjoy a great workout de-stress and relax.

$22.50 for a visitor pass is a bit extreme. Also had a free visitor pass because a friend joined recently but couldn’t use it because I didn’t live locally is quite rubbish. Overall disappointed.

My partner and I travel to Burleigh heads every 6 months and train here whenever we are around. Today we trained here as per usual and experienced incredible customer service. I rarely write reviews but today was needed. Simone at the reception was so kind and delivered incredible service, I couldn’t feel more comfortable and welcome to this gym after speaking with Simone. Thank you Simone for making my partner and I’s morning.

I joined about a month ago at 6 weeks postpartum and I absolutely love my new gym! The creche service has given me the opportunity for some much needed self care and I am so grateful to be feeling good so soon after giving birth. The girls that run it go above and beyond (ahem. Baby "manacures"!) and keep this space super clean which of course is important to any parent, but especially for newborns as I don't want him picking up nasty germs at such a young age.

There is plenty of gym space, equipment, classes and so many options to get in a great workout. The locker room is awesome too with loads of space plus hair dryers and straighteners available to use.

Staff have been lovely, kind and helpful too! Thanks so much!

Myana and Susan that run the crèche are fabulous and are the only reason I joined after hearing about their great reputation. I have a 6 month old and 2 year old. I was reluctant to join at the time as my youngest was only 4 months.however, it has been great in terms of self care! I get my workout done and a little break from my babies. Knowing they are well looked after makes it stress free! My two year old loves it when I tell him he’s going to play zone he always says YAY mummy!

I read all the reviews here before joining my family up 6 weeks ago, based on a friend's referral. It's an excellent gym! Class
(esp.yoga) instructors are professional and everyone is motivated and high energy. You want to get fit when you walk in here. Rarely need to wait for machines in daytime (when we go). My PT Leah has helped me get great results without any pushiness. Creche ladies know all the kids by name and have been there since the gym opened. My kids adore them. Not the flashiest gym but one of the friendliest, with positive people and reasonable pricing. Recommended.

Tuesday night’s Body Jam with James is the most fun you’ll have all week. You don’t realize how hard you’re working because he makes it so fun and crazy. Must have a sense of humour:)

Good gym and affordable with all the extras including pool and spa, I joined for the 30 min functional classes, boxing and large gym for weights.
