54Good equipment, women only room which my partner appreciates, nice pool and decent changes rooms with sauna. Probably best GoodLife on the coast.
Very run down, so many machines broken, no numbers on weights, frayed and sharp cables.it's almost shocking to see a gym that could be so good but is run so SO poorly: - (
And they have over 5,000 members so the place is usually ABSOLUTELY PACKED!
THEY SIMPLY COULDNT CARE A STUFF ABOUT THEIR MEMBERS
and yet we are still locked into our contracts and STILL have to pay full price.
They have so much equipment broken they don't even have enough 'Sorry Im Broken' signs.
I'm simply disgusted with how bad this place is

I had not intended on writing a review, and this marks my first-ever negative review. My experience with GoodLife Burleigh has left me quite disappointed, primarily due to the troublesome cancellation process. On two separate occasions, I called to inquire about canceling my membership, and in both instances, I was informed that I would be subject to a substantial cancellation fee.
Despite clearly stating that I was outside of my contract period during both phone calls, I was placed on hold for an extended period, only to be later told that I was, in fact, correct, and no cancellation fee should apply.
During the second call, I decided to proceed with canceling my membership and requested to settle all outstanding fees, which the consultant agreed to. However, my troubles didn't end there. After reading several online reviews, I had suspicions that canceling my membership might prove difficult, so I prudently placed a hold on my card. Unfortunately, my apprehensions were justified, as I am now facing persistent attempts by debt collectors to collect another payment.
I ended up in a frustrating email exchange with the club manager, going back and forth. Eventually, I just decided to bite the bullet, pay up, and that's when I thought, "You know what? I've got to leave a review about this. "
If you are considering joining for the female-only room, I strongly advise against it. The equipment is often broken, and the lack of air conditioning, replaced by a small fan, makes it unbearably hot.
The state of the bathrooms is frequently less than satisfactory, and the virtual Reformer Pilates classes do not provide an ideal learning environment with the virtual screening of the classes.
So Disappointed that when I rang to cancel my reformer class due to an emergency with 90mins before the class they still charge me a cancellation fee.
I have never had such a terrible experience at a gym. There is no such thing as customer service here, I was not made feel welcome and harassed by staff mainly the tall, dark haired lady at the front counter.
I used to be a personal trainer with goodlife years ago and always had issues with this company as a whole. They don’t look after there staff or there customers only there revenue.
I would strongly recommend anyone looking to go to a gym don’t go to any goodlife if you want a positive experience and to feel welcomed.
I truely hope this review makes it to the head of this organisation so something can change.
I will also add after months of cancelling my membership I was emailed by the manager of this gym saying I wasn’t welcome there and one of the staff had seen me using the gym still. (I haven’t and wouldn’t step foot in another goodlife gym ever again) so this is the level of customer service you can expect.
Please know I am a positive person but I feel people need to know, so they don’t make the same mistake.
Being a member for a very long time I find the cycle room has deteriorated to such an extent that it stinks, there is mould actually growing on the ceiling and the bikes are in such disrepair as they have never been replaced. This room is a health hazard.
The poorest equipped goodlife gym I have been, plus they have some machines I use but I can’t use them cause they placed them in the women only area, good job
Great place to workout in a great environment with friendly staff and clean, well layer out facilities.
I had a worse scenario with my membership cancelation. I had a phone call to cancel my membership in nearly September 2022 and the staff didn't registered it in their system and even did not send me an confirmation email about the cancelation. On that date, they assured me that everything is fine. In January 2023 when I checked my bank account, I noticed that they regularly withdrew from my bank account the amount of $42.58 every two weeks. So, I emailed them and described every thing but they put me in a liar position and asked me for evidence and recommend me to provide a statutory declaration signed by a JP. I told them that it is your responsibility to do your job correctly to send me an email or do cancelation paper work right after my request. Now, I don't know what I should do. I am very sad and disappointed of loosing money without using the facility. I am unhappy with good life health club Burleigh water and not recommend this club to join. They could be much more supportive and trustworthy. They can easily scam you when it comes for membership cancelation.: (
Lost a personal belonging and am currently away on holidays. Called the gym and asked if it had been handed in and they refused to check lost property for me even though I said I was currently away. Said I have to come and do it myself. What? ! Horrible customer service
Not the best of the goodlife gyms on the Gold Coast, would personally recommend Bundall Goodlife instead
Wow! I've never seen a club like this before. It has everything. All the equipment you could dream of. And a huge swimming pool as well.
Also has massage, yoga and palates.
Mermaid Waters, I joined for the Daily Aqua classes. Great 60min workout with dumbbells to music. Follow Spa, steam, sauna. Plenty lockers and showers, hair dryers and ironing board. I'm sure upstairs full Gym is also good. Friendly staff. Affordable weekly fee.
Average for arms sessions, bad for legs sessions.big gym with just ONE leg press machine, ONE leg extension and ONE squats hack…in busy days/hours it’s impossible to use those machines.
Bathroom in a bad shape. The gym look abandoned by the management.
Great gym, large space, friendly staff, plenty of classes to choose from, pool, sauna, separate ladies section (which unfortunately is freezing)

Freddie is a great boxing instructor! He always creates the best energy and pushes you but understands everyone’s level of fitness is different!) I can’t wait for the next class!
Very friendly helpful staff. Great atmosphere, up to date equipment, great & plentiful & varied group classes. Huge change room with showers, lockers, hair dryers. Very clean facilities. Love it!
Would give 0 stars if possible. Even after requesting a freeze to my membership, as I was flooded in Brisbane and wasn't able to move to the Gold Coast, I was still charged on my account. Nobody informed me, that they would charge me and an indefinite freeze wasn't possible, plus "credit" has been taken out of my account without my consent. Be aware, that they will not tell you, that you will have to pay in full whatever membership you sign up for, even trials.
I couldn't recommend Fitness First Robina highly enough. I've been a member of around a dozen gyms here on the Gold Coast and it's my favourite. The staff make you feel so welcome and despite being very busy helping out members they are always very friendly.
My Mum visited earlier this year and initially felt quite apprehensive, until several staff members came up and said hi to her and started chatting with her. She came away really enjoying her visit to the gym. And you will too! I definitely recommend trying out Fitness First Robina!
Very spacious and well equipped gym. Friendly staff and clean. No mask compliance at all, and people didn’t wipe down equipment, but who knows what the rules are anymore.
