Fantastic Furniture reviews
64Always a pleasant experience. Last time, I rang the store to check a specific measurement for a furniture and the person (Ayla? Sorry for my english) was very polite to do that favour!
Somewhat reasonable prices, and a wide range of products, which mostly needs to be picked up at their warehouse (which is about 5 minutes away), not available in store. I would recommend coming here first before going other places.
Good service. Good furniture at a competitive price.
Bought some furniture there today with delivery tomorrow
Worst purchase ever.
Would not buy again from here.
Purchased online for around $900 in November. The company affiliated with fantastic furniture allied express ‘attempted’ to deliver the pieces to my place several times apparently. ‘But no one was home. ’ I was home each time and had to take work off on three accounts because they were to lazy to knock on the door or phone myself to come down from the unit block.
It came in three seperate boxes and on one account two of them got delivered however, the last box got damaged in transit in which I am STILL WAITING ON.
The other two were damaged and at the time I gave them the benefit of the doubt. However, I’ve since contacted fantastic about this service in regards to not receiving the final box and wanting a refund and they pretty much said I’ll have to wait for the refund about a week or so as the box is apparently in transit and it will need to be returned first before refunding.
Biggest stuff around. Waste of money. DONT BUY.

Affordable furnishings can still be found! Fantastic Furniture had just the chairs/seats we were looking for. After our cat had had its way with the old 2nd hand outdoor armchairs, we decided that she'd probably have a harder time destroying the overlarge leather chairs (soon to be outdoor armchairs) which we are replacing with the more suitable chairs from FF.
Had the most horrible experience with a staff member from Maroochydore. It was a man working (10am Thursday 17 Nov) and I had called up the store to get an update on my order which had been continuously delayed. He was rude, would talk over me, and had zero empathy. When I asked to talk to someone else he refused and hung up the phone. When I called the store back he would hang up the phone and then ignored the phone calls. I had to call a different store to get an actual update on my order. What kind of customer service is that? That man should be fired, he shouldn't be working in a customer service role.
Helpful staff. Good experience. Would have preferred quicker turn around time for product brought but understand.
Poor service, placed an order a day before for click and collect, still had to wait in parking lot for 15+ minutes in rain only to be told that the order is at the showroom. I would have bought it from store if I had half an hour to waste. Their so called “Click & Collect” is just a big waste of time.
Male employees at the Maroochydore store let younger employees laugh at upset customers and then yell and step closer to overpower shorter female customers when asked for head office number’s. On top of that, apparently customers being offended & upset by said employees laughing and staring at deformities warrants security being called and then standing there continuing to stare and laugh. If that nasty charlotte or borderline assaulting Matt is reading this, The regional manager has been contacted thanks to the lovely Maddy
3 shop assistants chatting. I was ignored for about 15 minutes then finally a young man wandered over. I wanted 2 lamps 1 was in box, 1 on display. I asked about a box for it. No boxes apparently. I asked if there was any box it could be packed in. Well no, we throw out all the boxes when we unpack to display. Absolutely no interest in finding some packaging. Dreadful customer service.
Today I ordered a rather large, heavy mirror online for click and collect from Fantastic Furniture in Maroochydore. At the time of ordering I was told the mirror was at the Warehouse for collection and I was provided with the address. After receiving a text to say this product was ready for collection we went to the warehouse. On arrival we were told that the mirror was in fact in store. I explained I had been given the warehouse address for collection and the comment was “ we are trying to fix that”. It was suggested I should have rung first. I had tried to call the actual store four times and the phone rang out each time. No apology. We headed off to the store which is in a rather large complex a few kilometres away. We presented in the store and were told that, yes, it would be there. A fellow went to get the mirror. Again, no apology. The mirror is quite large and heavy. My 71 year old husband was handed the mirror to carry through the large shopping centre, quite a distance, to the car. We didn’t know there were lifts and there was almost a rather nasty fall on the travellator whilst trying to manage this bulky, heavy item. Another couple came to our aid and told us there were lifts and directed us to them. We did get to the car, with difficulty. The warehouse is all on one level and direct to car. The store is not. The man in the shop could have at least apologised, made sure we knew there were lifts nearby in the complex, and even maybe offered assistance. Most unhappy. Would not recommend. The one star is for the product, which we are happy with.
Purchased two kids loft beds in January, having had a lot of fun and put a lot of effort into making over our 2 7 year old boys bedrooms. We were told they would arrive in 4-6 weeks. 8 weeks later I call to ask why they are delayed, COVID apparently, they still haven’t received the shipment. I explain to the person on the phone that our kids are starting the school year sleeping on mattresses on the floor, she puts me on hold, comes back on the line, suddenly they apparently have one but not two of the beds in stock, the first one is delivered a week later, it’s now been 9 weeks.
So now we have two seven year old boys and we get to choose which one gets a bed, cause that’s not going to cause any problems. It’s now coming to the end of April, every week or so they say the bed will arrive in a week or so. They are entirely unapologetic, on one phone call the person I spoke to was almost laughing at me, clearly amused that I was calling upset. We have one boy sleeping on a mattress on the floor and another in a beautiful new bed.
Ezra helped us out with purchasing our Daughters new bed and Mattress, great customer service very happy.
My Partner and I went to the Maroochydore store to purchase quite a range of different furnishings, we were in the store for nearly a half an hour, and we were not approached or asked if we need assistance, 3 young Men salesman standing in the central counter area, having a great conversation, completely ignoring us, After 1/2 hour we left and spent our $9000 in a store who’s staff approached us on our arrival at the store.
Train your staff better Fantastic Furniture
Could make a complaint about the service, but there was none. Was looking to buy a new lounge but not one of the 3 staff that were working even said hello. In the store for nearly half an hour and not even a hello. Couldn't have made it anymore obvious that we were looking - sat down on numerous lounges, flipped over price range tickets etc etc. Won't be back - can't serve yourself.
Shop and products as one would expect. We were there to look at kids beds. Some nice cheap options unfortunately there were three staff at the counter and not one even greeted us.
I was asked to assemble an Ashford 7 drawer dresser for elderly mother in law. With my adult son, 3 hours later and 385 parts altogether, they have to be kidding. Found out they charge $60 per hour for assembly jobs. We had the tools and worked non stop. Not so fantastic furniture. The quality of the materials was also very basic.
Go onto Gumtree and search for an older solid decent quality piece and don't put yourself through this torture!
Ordered a couch on the 13th of March to be made which was advised of a 6-8 week turn around, fantastic called me at the 7 week mark and advised that half of my modular couch was damaged in transit, I was told it would be sent as a priority to be repaired, I have not received the item yet and am now being advised it will be delivered late June early July, yet it was completed in repairs on the 12th or May 2021 and this store receives a truck every Friday from Sydney. Still no date on delivery and very upset. ACCC complaint lodged, spoken to manager and emailed company customer care line directly. For someone who has spent well over 5 grand with them this is very very poorly managed and I have had to do all the chasing up otherwise I would be told nothing. Get it together
A very positive experience. I bought quite a lot and wanted to mix and match some packages, as well as upgrade a few items. It was so easy. The sales team are all young, and it's about them I mostly want to address my comments to. Every single one of them (6 I saw) was friendly, polite, and a real credit to themselves. Julia R helped me out and she was a complete delight and knew the products.
It's fashionable for older generations to whinge about how bad young people are but all the unforced rudeness I saw came from a couple in my age group (60+). The young folks kept upbeat, really put in the effort to help, and did a stellar job. They all had tasks and got about doing them. Thanks to the team and to Julia R in particular. I hope the company is forward thinking enough to reward good staff in meaningful and tangible ways.
It is a pain to park and get to but it could be that I am used to standalone stores. And the warehouse is 5min drive away. They were having serious computer problems while we there so service took a while. Not the fault of staff, they were trying their best but appeared to be used to the computers playing up.
