Early Learning Centre Smithfield

We have recently moved to the area and our boy starts here. We've toured other ELC's in the area and this one feels like Home. Soon as you walk through the door, it feels cosy. Our 4 year old has never been in a school or day care setting and has never gone anywhere without either myself or his Dad present but he is BEYOND EXCITED to attend. In fact, after the tour never stopped talking about this centre and asked to go back every single day. The staff are very welcoming, extremely helpful and truly make you feel at ease about leaving your baby in their care. If I could give them 10 Stars I would. Looking forward to all the adventures the rest of this Year.

My 3 years old son have been in Milestones Early Learning Smithfield for three months since we moved to Cairns. He’s so happy and enjoying his childcare’s life. He has already made some friends in his room. The teacher and educators in his room are also very professional, warm, patient and lovely. I think we made a best choice.

We have recently joined milestones Smithfield and my daughter couldn’t be more happier at this centre. Such beautiful caring educators, amazing rooms and outdoor playing areas. Definitely the best centre in our area by far.

I chose to come back to Milestones after a few years away and could not be more impressed. I have 3 children in 3 different rooms, one with additional needs, and every one of them has been catered for in such a unique, individual way. Each child is really accounted for, their likes and dislikes, and the staff are always really friendly. It felt like coming home to family!

My kids have been going to this centre for nearly a year. All the staff are warm, friendly and approachable. My son loves dinosaurs and learning over the last few weeks has been centred around this interest. The centre has a lovely community feel to it and my kids love it there.

Our 1 year old daughter has been going to Milestones for 1 month now, four times a week. The transition to daycare could not have been any smoother thanks to the professional, capable and caring staff at the centre. My daughter reaches for a hug from her main teacher when I drop her off, and she comes home happy and full of joy. Every evening we look forward to seeing photos, videos and stories of her day on the Storypark App. Her hours at daycare seem to be filled with exploration and play-based learning. It is such a relief to know that my daughter is well looked after while I am at work. Thank you for your hard work.

We were taking our children to a different daycare in the area but moving to Milestones was the best decision for everyone. Our children are so happy, we as parents are confident that our children are being taken care of by a team of professional, passionate and caring group of diverse educators and we can see that centre management have their house in order!

I couldn’t recommend this centre enough. My boys love all their educators and I always see they get attention and genuine care in return. They have learnt so much and always come home smiling. I always know I’m leaving them in good hands.

We don't have kids but if we did we would absolutely send them here. We know some of the girls and they are amazing. Helen, the manager is always making an effort to support local businesses qnd be involved in the community.

I know my child, trust her and she is having the best time. After some cuddles (of course) she's fine in the morning with her "bye mummy, see you later" and I'm finding her playful and joyful in the afternoon. She has learned new things in such a short time. Had couple BSC for my older happy daughter as well. Daily pictures and activities updates in the app are priceless. Caring Ladies, thank you for being so kind and warm to my baby girls, I feel calm during the day knowing what wonderful care they have from you.

Great staff! Always very helpful and understanding. Bub loves her two teaches Miss Trina and Miss Jess!

My grandchildren have both attended this centre since they were 5months old. They absolutely love going. The educators are very warm and welcoming. The centre has a lovely home feel to it, i highly recommended this centre to anyone after high quality of care.

Seriously amazing educators. Very obvious how caring and loving they. My daughter loves going there each morning, and is so excited to tell me everything she's done each evening.

The staff here are lovely and always seem genuinely happy to see the kids in their care. It has a lovely family feel and has made having to leave my baby a much easier experience. Seeing updates of what he’s up to during the day is the highlight as he always looks so happy. Would highly recommend.

My son and daughter have attending Early Learning Centre Smithfield since they were both 5 months old. My son is now 4 years old and my daughter is now 2 years old.
They are always very excited to go to "Kindy" it is such a warm inviting environment for the children. The educators are all so friendly and kind which is always reassuring when leaving your little ones. I highly recommend this Centre.

Through everything 2020 threw at all of us.thank you for everything you guys have done to try and keep the 'normal'.

Highly Recommend the team at ELC Smithfield! Over the past 2.5 years the educators have become like family. As an early childhood teacher, my standards to find quality care were high and these guys have blown me away with their professionalism. The curriculum is of a high standard and you feel like home the second you walk through the door. Please do yourself a favour and check them out!

In my position as an Educational Advisor, I have watched the Centre flourish over the past few years due to the hard work and commitment of the ELC Smithfield Team. Their passion for providing every child the best quality care and education is inspirational. The centre is culturally diverse and inclusive. The teaching team is so respectful and loving, they genuinely have so much love for the children and families. I'd definitely recommend ELC Smithfield as I've loved working with them each and everyday ️
