Early Learning Centre Smithfield

Absolutely brilliant centre! My son has been attending Milestones Smithfield close to a year now, he loves his time there and always has so much fun. As this was my first daycare experience, I loved that I was able to take him to as many stay and play days as I liked to make myself and him feel comfortable before he started full time.
All the activities and resources at the centre are amazing and I can tell he is learning so much. The educators are always smiling and friendly, and we are always made to feel welcome. Would 100% recommend this centre to anyone thinking about putting their child into daycare.

Helen and her team of education leaders are just brilliant.
The attention to detail and commitment to the learning of our little ones is very evident in their passion and delivery.

By far, this is the best Child care centre I have seen in Cairns. No two days are the same there. The Centre is full of anything you can think of that make kids feel better than home. And the Educators are second to none! I recommend to everyone who wants peace of mind while their kids enjoy the time and attention of very well trained and cultured Educators.

My son really loves to go to this childcare centre everyday. Although he was very shy person before starting childcare, he changed his personality like a social person. He said HI and Bye to all staff and smiling. I am strongly recommended to send your child to Milestone Early Learning Smithfield.

My child started at the beginning of the year and everyone has been so welcoming. I was allowed to do as many stay and play visits as I liked to help myself and my child feel comfortable in the lead up to leaving him on his own. His educators immediately made me feel at ease with their softness and care, especially with the guilt of first time care. I needn't have worried, he loves daycare and I can genuinely see their care for my child and every other staff member also know his name. I also like that I can see the staff members support each other and provide support for every child. I've also been able to book in an extra casual day here and there when they have not been full which has really helped with juggling work.

I highly recommended this place, my kid been there more than 1 year and everytime she comes back home with happy face;) All educator sooo nice and helpful!

Helen and her team are fantastic. All the staff are kind, caring and attentive to the children's needs. Very happy with this daycare.

This is seriously the best centre. They have consistently delivered outstanding levels of performance in their care and service provided to my son and I. Helen and Kara always make me feel no administrative request is a problem (although I am sure it is at times!). I have consistently experienced first hand Helen and all of her staff are really led by not only in the best interests and well-being of the children in their care but also the parents/families attending their centre. They are a huge support to us and have taken great care of my son and me, and have felt like family since day one when we walked through the doors. My son is so happy and comfortable with all of the educators because they have all taken the time to spend time with him and get to know him. The individual and unique bonds he has formed with every staff member at this centre is noticeable and so appreciated! We love our Milestones family and I am so grateful we found this centre!

Our baby goes here and we could not be happier! The teachers, the rooms, attitude - everything is just top level, always clean, inviting and welcoming. We love to bring our baby in every day and are grateful that we found this amazing place!

Bounced around a few centres in Cairns and I am so happy we found Milestones. From the moment we walked through the door Ms Helen has been so welcoming, helpful and friendly. All of the team are amazing and I can tell they all genuinely care about my son and I can see the bond he has formed with them all. Since we have been attending my son has come out of his shell, settled in so well and is excited to go every morning and is a smiley, happy and content baby when I pick him up in the afternoons. Could not recommend this centre enough. They really do feel like family <3

I couldn’t recommend this centre enough! My daughter absolutely loves going here and it shows. Helen is absolutely amazing along with the rest of the staff! I’d give 10 stars if I could. They make you feel welcome the moment you walk in the door like a family. Your all doing a fabulous job, keep it up guys!

My daughter has just started & she is very much a mumma's girl, her educators have been amazing with her. Such a welcoming/friendly centre. The play areas & activities are awesome. This is our first time experiencing daycare and it has been a lot easier than I thought. I love the updates I receive throughout the day.

We done a few tours at other daycares & I said I was looking at Milestones & they couldn't recommend a better centre.

My daughter has been attending Milestones since she was 5months old, now she is turning 6yrs next month & she is still attending the centre during school holidays. My son also attended the centre in school holidays during his Primary school days for the before school care & drop off service. The staff are more than just educators, they treat your children like family & accommodate to all the specific individual needs. Friendly, caring, compassionate, stimulating young minds with exciting learning activities.absolutely LOVE sending my children there & they loved going there too. Special thanks to Helen & Cara for managing the busy centre with expertise, and more thanks to Miss Savita, Mr. Kyl, Miss Ruby & Miss Jo (thank you for the Miss Jo cuddles every morning), Miss Loretta, Miss Sarah & many more for the amazing job you do helping raise my children for over 6years in this great environment. My son is 2yrs and recently started with Milestones after leaving family daycare. The support and care provided by educators has been excellent. He is kept busy with a huge variety of activities and we love that he has access to plenty of outside play.

Milestones Smithfield saved us when we desperately needed somewhere for our son to go. They have been so kind and helpful.even when he went through some tough times. Taking the individual child into consideration has been so special. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others

A wonderful daycare my toddler loves attending. The staff are so gentle & professional, and they learn lots of interesting things. It’s been so lovely watching my son blossom here. It’s like a big family. I 100% recommend this service

Our daughter has been attending for almost 5 months now and we could not be happier with the centre. All the staff (not just her room teachers) know her name and say hello when they see us. We receive daily updates and even a personal update on her personal goals each week. The center is clean, well organised and information is sent regularly regarding safety and activities.

My son and daughter have been attending Milestones Smithfield since they were both 5 months old. My son is now 5 years old and had started prep this year, thanks to all of the educators here he was confident, prepared and so excited to start his next learning chapter at school.
My daughter is now 3 years old.
She is always very excited to go to Kindy it is such a warm inviting environment for the children.
She has made friends which she has transitioned room to room with.
There is a low turn over in staff which is always reassuring, upon drop offs.
The educators are all so friendly and kind which is always reassuring when leaving your little ones. As an educator that works here myself I get to see all of the fun, caring and learning that happens on a daily basis.
I highly recommend this Centre as a parent and Educator.

Great care, always there to answer your questions. Very prompt when there is an illness in the daycare as to not spread. Love this daycare for my family
