Dan Murphy's Chermside

So I was there on Saturday around 8: 30 pm, this security guy confronted me at the gate, I was with my partner and a two year old. So this guy asks if we have a id, to which I said I have but my wife don’t, but I can show you on phone to which he said no it should be physical copy, to which I said fair enough, and as we still weren’t sure what’s next he says do you have a id and I said yes I told u I had, and he goes ahead and checks my driver license so then I assume I can go in, and this guy refuses saying I am accompanying my partner who don’t have a id and starts xplaining me fine (as if I just appeared out of blue sky in Queensland), the staff inside was noticeably amused given that he checked my Id and yet won’t let me in. It was embarrassing, only concern is he shouldn’t have checked my Id at all when I already told him that my partner don’t have one.

Another great DM store. Hard not to buy too much. Clean and friendly large store with plenty of specials and ample choice. Very friendly staff.

Jess at the Chermside shopping centre Dan Murphy's and Matt the Champagne offocianado were absolutely helpful in there respective depts and knowledge of the latest Pinot noir and Sparkling wines.

Its "big box"/generic branded and formated, but staff are friendly and helpful. Parking isn't fantastic if your in a hurry, unless you know the centre layout.

Not the best Dan's I've been to. Difficult to get to ocation not well described within shopping centre. Drake gets them Staff were pleasant

Purchased an out of date filthy tasting carton of Balter XPA and the best they could do we swap 8 cans. Went to buy a 4 pack of Sonic IPA again this beer was on its used by date. If you want a fresh brew go elsewhere

As always, very friendly staff members, conveniently located inside Westfirld Chermside shopping centre. Huge range with great low prices. Easy to find popular items, with a great range of single malts.

Great range to choose from and often way cheeper then other stores. I love going in and buying something totally unique that i have never heared of.

How can you not love Dan Murphy?
It’s got such a range of alcohol from all over the world and it’s great to see old favourites on the shelves from time to time that are hard to find in regular bottle shops.

Great to have at Chermside Westfield.
Easy parking upstairs most days.
Hope they stay around for a long time!

Staff seem keen to help and all the ones I have been served by have enjoyed knowing a bit more than usual about particular alcohol options.

Has the best arrangement of alcohol and find that I spend far to much time in there in a good way. I can never make up my mind what I want. Always come out with something different. Great job guys.

Shitshow to park close, stock is a mess and often out of date. Checkout staff very good though.

Classic Dan Murphys selection of alcohol but the layout isn't as good as done of the other stores I've been to. Service was friendly but a shade on the slow side. I asked for help about red wine and the guy said that he didn't know anything and the guy who does wasn't around. Not a bar experience but I know that it could have been a bit better.

Very good range, cheery helpful staff. (The only downside is the range is so big the staff don't know all of it, but they're willing to go find things, so still a plus.)
