Dan Murphy's Chermside

They did not allow us to buy.they asked us for ID just my husband had it and I went back to the car to get it when I was back they did not allow us.maybe because it was only 10 minutes before closing. Very rude.

Used to like the shop but not anymore after my last visit. Went with my sister in law and was asked to show ID which I had on me but she didnt. She only had a pic of her ID on her which she showed to the person talking to us. We were both asked to leave store. And I myself wasnt even able to go back in without her and do shopping. What is interesting is that they have huge sign inside saying that if you are with someone under 18 they need to be under supervision of an adult so really it didnt matter whether she was 18 or not.she is way over 18 of course but it didnt matter because she was with me.very rude and not helpful.what was more frustrating was the fact that I had party in 2hrs and came specially to shop there as they have good prices.

First experience with online ordering was terrible. It was meant to arrive between 9am and 1pm and arrived after 4pm. Never again.

Dan Murphy's sell boose. Ummm. Sooooo you pick your desired poison, then you take it to the counter, then you pay for it. Not really much to leave a review. I suppose that the negative, positive or self loathing reviews would follow the morning after a visit to Dan Murphy's.

This is not my usual San Murphys. Found everything I needed. The staff were very helpful. Well signed to where everything is which was excellent.

The staff here are amazingly knowledgeable and helpful. The range is outstanding and the prices excellent.

Staff have great knowledge of product info for a broad range of beverages. Happy with service, fast and polite, and they generally carry a good range for everything from beer, wines, champagne, spirits and the speciality drop for that special occasion. Only downside is its in the shopping centre and parking is annoying. Cheapest around I've found, anywhere in any given day. Plus their rewards program is quite good.

It is my local and one of the busiest stores. Existing and new staff are well trained and helpful.

Typical Dan Murphy's. Great selection of alcohol and knowledgeable staff. I purchased vodka cruisers, carmel vodka and rosae. My only criticism is that the isles are too narrow for wheelchairs and very hard for a wheelchair to navigate throughout the shop. Other then that it was a great experience.

Awesome help from the guy (forgotten his name, but merch id last 4 no's are 2411 if that helps) that looked after me and took to where ever I needed to go to buy my purchases.
Made my shopping alot easier especially round this time of year.
He was the cashier at the end as well, so basically from the start to the end 100%

Local liquor store with great range. Missing the range of belgian beer they had some while ago.

I'm just happy that this Dan Murphys is at the end of chermside I spend more time at makes it easy to get cold beer back to the car

The staff is always friendly, the shop isn't as big as others so the selection is a little less plentiful, but there's heaps anyway!

What is there to say, love a well stocked Dan Murphys store. Plenty of variety on.offer and various sizes in bottles (1ltr etc). Staff are friendly and helpful

You can always get what ever you want, need at anytime and all the staff are very pleased to help you

Worst customer service.just been to Dan Murphy’s Chermside around 1850 hrs and the guy in Maroon t-shirt at the counter was very rude to me. I forgot to show him my Dan Murphy’s membership card, I realised after I paid, I was still at the counter and told him “I have membership card but forgot to inform” I apologised to him too. But he was very rude, I felt like I should not have said that I was Dan Murphy’s member and would have just paid the full price. I felt really bad and embarrassing as there were other customers too, despite of him asking me if I have membership card I told him.and said sorry too. He did not even said that it was fine but kept telling me I should have said that I was member at the beginning if I want member discount.
I don’t I’ll ever return to same store again.
And just to mention, I did not forget to kindly request him to improve his customer service skills and he said he will.

Good dans good range always get what you want its chermside tho so hard to get parks. Maybe open a second location at chermside west? Cheers Mr Murphy's

Good store.
Parking is rarely easy or close.
This store can get very busy at peak times. Limited cashiers. If you're in a rush the store at the airport is usually much quieter even if it's a little out of the way (think Xmas time)

Quick shopping trip which was convenient. The sign for the special was correct but placement was somewhat misleading, meaning I paid more for the item than I was led to believe as discount was on a very similar item. Girl at register was friendly and efficient and welcoming

I’ve been to this store a few times, but they are very overzealous in their ID checking and I don’t think I will shop there again because of that. On my last visit I had my ID checked at the door, then had a very rude staff member ask me for it again inside while I was looking at soft drinks of all things. This staff member gave me a lecture about licensed venues and spoke very condescendingly to me.
