Not enough cashiers working. I was going to buy 12 bottles of French champagne then when I saw the snake line waiting I left the $1,000.00 worth of champagne in the trolley and left. Bad management!

Great store with very helpful staff who helped me find what I was looking for. Big selection of wine, spirits and beers etc. Discounted prices if you become a member. Worth a visit and something in everyone's price range.

Walk in wanting one thing and walk out with things I did not know I wanted.

How good is that, can't pass up a good deal!

The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. Especially one lady who helped us choose some wines for Christmas presents.

It's been nine years since I've had to strongly consider buying alcohol with somebody else's ID, however the customer service and common sense of this Dan Murphy's employees have greatly been stained by the bureaucratic enforcement of certain liquor laws; to the point that it greatly inconveniences those who these particular laws aren't made to inhibit and who instead wants to enjoy a six pack of Great Northern Originals in the comfort of their own home. In fact, the security guard that works the often busier nights of the week is the soul source of fair judgement who greets his familar customers with a casual nod and wink. I rate that guard and I appreciate our mutual respect. The BWS at the opposite end of Westfield might now expect to see my face more often, although at my inconvenience due to the longer walk from my apartment, it is worth it for the compliments on my moustache and the happy-go-lucky character that works there.

36 years old and asked for ID, no one my age carries ID you absolute muppets. Pull your heads in, what underage kids are buying red wine …

Very helpful staff and found just what I was looking for. We were pleasantly surprised at the huge range of high quality Asian alcohol.

Great range of Spirits and prices are ok, sometimes they have excellent prices, cheaper than Duty Free at Brisbane international airport. Do your pricing research. The new shop layout is excellent and inviting, very upmarket, better lighting. The whole design is so good it makes you want to stay there and look at every fascinating colourful bottle. And the service from the staff makes you feel like they must be an old friend.

Very wide selection of all alcohol and non alcohol drinks. Just rearranged store and is very presentable.

I discovered that Hardy's cask wine is about $3 cheaper here than at other Liquor stores.

Here too, I discovered a new wine (to me), which in fact, is one of the oldest.
TEMPERANILLO - the fourth-most planted variety in the world is considered one of the nine red noble grapes.
Tempranillo is one of the top varieties blended into Port wine from Portugal, where it’s called Tinta Roriz.
Its flavour described as a combination of
" the structure of Cabernet Sauvignon and meaty nature of Carignan" (french medium red «food» wine), it sounds wonderful.
I also found a Wolf Blass Cabernet Sauvignon "House of the Dragon" with a fabulous label

I had the best experience at this store. Matt was super helpful and had a vast knowledge of multiple different spirits. I now have a few different things to try and also stock up on for Christmas so thank you

The line up process is very confusing. Normal practice is to form a line behind each open checkout. Chermside I've been told to line up behind the middle checkout then filter into open checkouts despite the line markings on the floor, other times the normal checkout practice process is followed. The inconsistency creates congestion, confusion and customer aggravations. Better consistent coordination is needed by the staff to direct the flow.

Nice staff. How can people rate one start for getting asked for ID? It's the law. I take it as a compliment. Keep up the good work.

Dan Murphy's have recently got Eros grape vodka in and it is utterly divine. It is delicious with some soda water and is made in QLD so always good to support local business.

Went in to grab a couple things on my break. Wearing my work tag. A staff member was talking to lady behind me about a product. Stops her conversation to ask me if I needed help. I politely declined as I knew what I was looking for. No word of a lie straight after I decline asked me for ID. I’m 27, covered in tattoos - I definitely do not look under the age of 25. I laughed and said I’m 27 you don’t need to ask for my ID, she then proceeds to tell me they can ask anyone for ID even if they look 26,27,28, to 30.
All because I said no to her help.
I gave her my ID.
It was just disgusting behaviour from the employee. The second she checked it she almost ran away. I didn’t even get asked for ID at the counter.

Appalled by the staff in this store. I had come in with a friend to grab one thing. Had a staff member approach us asking if we'd like any help, and after declining she proceeded to ask us for ID. We were asked to leave the store as only I had mine and they refused to serve me alone. After we both returned with our ID, we were asked for ID by another 4 staff members, 4 TIMES ASKED FOR ID! I explained to each that I was frustrated because I had already been asked for ID and left to go and get it, yet they kept following us and getting a different staff member each time to ask. We were basically stalked around the store as if we had done something wrong. It's sad to see this is a common occurrence at this store reading previous reviews. My friend is 27 and I am 23.
