Incredibly rude RACIST staff member, didn't apoligise or look remorseful singling me out. I am currently pursuing at my legal options, this is Unacceptable!

Update-i was sober & never said anything about alcohol. That was Your assumption. Do you just naturally assume all people of colour are alcoholic trouble-maker's Matt? How ignorant of you. If you'd cared, you could simply ask & i'd be happy to explain what happened.

Amanda and the team always happy and helpful. Plenty of laughs and brightens our day over a beer or two.

Crumb steak was not a good choice. Sadly was the worst I’ve had. Ribs and steak was good. Not much else to say. Everything was average.

This place is a human misery factory. The patrons are just compulsive, obsessive gamblers and ice addicts.

2022 Christmas Day Lunch. Second Christmas lunch for us at the Dalrymple Hotel, last one was 2020. Lived up to our expectations. Plenty of hot and cold food, great variety, very clean and tidy buffet which makes one want to eat from the table, easy access, very friendly staff who made sure the tables were clean to allow for comfort with seafood scraps etc. Took the time to have a chat and made sure we lacked for nothing. So much food, I noticed when we were leaving there was just as much on the buffet tables as there was at the beginning of the day. Will be booking again for 2023 if we are in town.

Could do a lot worse than this if you're after a pub feed. Reasonably priced, comfortable and tasty food.

My Husband and l had our Christmas Lunch at the Dalrymple today and we enjoyed every mouthfull, thank you to Management and Staff for putting on such a lovely meal with all the trimmings of Christmas.

Food was raw. The pricing should be getting fresh made. Complete useless staff in kitchen. Never recommend

Upon arrival was greeted by peter who recommend my partner and i sit in the booths for our date which helped make the night great food was great other staff members check on how the food was couldnt ask for better service

Waitress was coughing and not washing or sanitising her hands with covid this is disgusting and not acceptable. Make sure staff are in good health so not to jeopardise patrons who are risking their health to support your business

Great spot for a drink and great bands and comfortable rooms and the steak house does a great meal

Rooms are clean, but very dated. Outside needs a good clean. Meals in restaurant were great, no complaints there
Ordering is a little hard, especially for older people who don't have a phone

Food is usually good, but portions don't seem the same any more. Still enjoyable, but no longer value for money. Most staff are good to deal with, others need to be mindful of projecting a bad mood. They may not have a bad attitude, but customers may view it that way.

Went for an Anniversary meal with my husband. No such thing as an old fashion menu list, nooo you had to scan it to your phone.if you have a phone of course, then if you do find something you like.and you want to pay by card, wow then they want you to fill in your details of said card on the app. Luckily we had some cash because not handing over those details.needless to say, won't be back unless they put some common sense back into their establishment.

There's no way this place is five star. The accommodation is tidy and well serviced, but definitely past it's prime. The ordering meals with your phone is tedious and you get charged extra for the privilege. No paper menu and no payment at the counter.

Really disappointed to see ALH pubs like the Dalrymple discriminating against people with disabilities and the elderly. How can you expect someone to order lunch who doesn’t have the capacity to use a phone? And only has cash?
We were told by the manager that they get in trouble if they put cash orders through? Instead of customers ordering through the app?
Absolutely disgusted in this lack of customer service and discrimination.
Will not be back.
