Great place! The owner or manager is super friendly and gladly gives you all info about things to do. The property is big and spacious and quiet in the night, rooms are clean and it's a perfect location if you're planning on going to the reef as it's only about 10 min walking to the marina, there are cool animals in the reception and breakfast included is always a plus:)

It was a good stay, but I consider they could be more clean. The toilet of the private room was a little bit dirty. Out of that, it is a quiet and comfortable place where to stay on holidays. The receptionists were polite and helpful.

Out of 4 hostels for all variants of travellers in port douglas, this has to be in the top 3.reeaallyy good!

Peaceful environment to relax and chill. Free breakfast is worth getting up for. A Spacious and comfortable hideaway with diversions scattered throughout.

Short stay but really enjoyed it. Comfortable rooms, lots of space to hang out and cool pool area. Easy walk into town.

I scored a double with ensuite and courtyard. Very spacious room, compared to more flashy hotels. Excellent sleeps. Crisp, clean linen, good pillows and soft bath towels.it's been 10 years since I stayed here, and it still feels like home.

Good value for the money. In some amenities they were beyond my expectations but in some very poor though. Very annoying and sometimes not working WiFi was the biggest issue for me.

It was a great place ranga was the most well taught dog i have ever seen i got the top bunk and loved it other then the aircon because it could to turn on til 9 but other wise it was a great place to stay

Great place to stay. Friendly helpful staff. 5pm-8pm excellent burgers (closed Tues nite). Private rooms available. Great place to stay while visiting surrounding attractions. Keith and staff all happy to help you plan and book your trips for the best days out

Fairly good place to stay. Was on top bunk, which didn't have a shelf and no outlets at that level. As well the kitchen was fairly busy. Other than that great values and good place to stay

Good pool, facilities and breakfast. Comfortable rooms, good shower and tv. Not enough parking.

Amazing place! Great atmosphere, clean, comfortable and relax backpacker/motel. Good location, just one block to the beach and 10mins walk to town and marina.

A winning team. Very friendly and informative, which is exactly what we needed. “Buddy” the lizard is a hit.

No lockers in 6-bed room or oven in kitchen. WiFi is also very slow. There's air conditioning and key card locked rooms and a lot of communal areas. The front desk spent a lot of time trying to locate my phone through cameras which I believe was stolen (it wasn't).

Nice, clean and cost effect place. Plenty of parking inside and outside premises. Enjoyed many board games at lounge.

Great stay. Good value, clean rooms and great atmosphere. Plenty of things to entertain the kids.
