Coral Beach Lodge reviews
62Great place, clean, nice pool and with super friendly staff! Highly recommended as in a great location to explore Port Douglas!
Great little place, walking distaance from town. Comfy, clean, friendly, well run and presented. Has its own self cook kitchen and its own eating area. Public telly room, and quiet lounge or hang out area. Guys were super friendly, helpful and informative, pointed us in the right direction for tours and ideas to do. If your staying long or working in the area stay here and enjoy the help and service.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff and very helpful. Amazing swimming pool just for us. Clean and cosy room.
Very cozy place to stay! It was clean and everything worked out well.pluspoints for the cool and very welcoming staff!
It has taken my daughter and I a while to write this review as we cannot express the thanks that we have towards the coral beach lodge staff. We stayed there for a couple of weeks when we had a lot of trouble getting back home interstate. The staff were super friendly and always had a smile on their faces. When we booked we noticed that they mentioned they aren’t really like a backpackers. My daughter and I were sceptical but upon arrival we were extremely impressed. The rooms had heaps of storage and the mini fridge was an excellent addition to the room. The kitchen had heaps of space and storage with plenty of appliances and again it was never dirty, cleaned all the time by the friendly staff. The common rooms were also very nice and tidy. (My daughter loved the free pool table and Netflix on demand!) the swimming pool was always nice and warm and overall our experience was 100/10. While not being at our own home was hard the lodge truely was our home away from home.
Thankyou heaps once again, Tom, Kevin and Kasia and of course Bonnie!
SERVICE WAS AMAZING. The blokes at the front were so friendly and took such good care of us, loved meeting their friendly fur pal. The pool was gorgeous and they had plenty of other facilities such as a nice kitchen, pool tables, outdoor lounging areas ect. The best part was it was located in the perfect place a quiet street close to the main strip of shops and the beach. Super convenient! And for the price you get so much more than you’d expect code locks on the doors huge flat screen smart tvs brand new aircons and the rooms were very spacious compared to other places we have stayed at throughout the coast (and they were more expensive). It was clean and tidy. They also had the electric scooters out the front which we found were the best for exploring port Douglas. Highly recommend for a great place too stay that’s not going to break the bank but still comes with everything you need.would highly recommend and hope to be back some day soon!
Great place to stay short or long term, nestled amidst greenery, lush vegetation. The Management & Staff are so friendly and helpful, ready to cater for all your needs. The Lodge & its rooms are very spacious, tidy and clean. There is plenty of space indoor & outdoor to relax, very quiet and ideal location only few minutes walk to 4 Miles beach & to the small town.
A fabulous place to stay clean tidy well maintained and to Tom and Kev the owners
And the staff enjoyed my stay at Coral Beach Lodge definitely recommend Coral Beach lodge looking forward to getting back to Port Douglas
Great YHA experience. Lovely communal areas, clean rooms with crisp white sheets, nice pool too. Kids loved the pool table. New management, very friendly and helpful. We'll be back!
Great place and amazing WiFi. I had several calls with someone in Russia and had perfect connection.
Rooms clean and comfortable, stuff friendly and very helpful, it feel like home. Definitely I would stay there again.
Stayed in a private room, it was lovely, clean tidy and supplied with tea coffee etc, great location (12 minute walk to the centre of everything) the Lodge is under new management, and I could see lots of changes for the better every day.
Delightful stay at CBL. Kev was super helpful on the phone and by email, was flexible with my booking and very organised with my late check-in. Tom was also super friendly and pleasant to deal with. Private room was ideal for what I wanted - great shower, comfy bed, plenty of space and a cute little patio outside. Useful to have a kettle and fridge in the room. 20min walk into centre of Port Douglas or 15min to the marina for diving. Chilled vibes to the place. Great value stay. I highly recommend!
Tom, Kev & Kelsie, where great Managers, they couldn't do enough for there guest, we stayed 10 nights. Clean rooms, shared kitchen, walking distance to the shops. Beautiful town, pub on the corner. Definitely a place to stay. Thanks Tom, Kev & Kelsie
Good price. A little run down, will be interesting to see what the new management does with the place.
Very nice hostel with great staff and pretty good facilities. Everything feels a bit old but that sort of adds to the ambience of the place.
Relatively well located.
2 nights stay, 320 dollars. Aircons are off all day, 7am to 5 pm, hot water is shut off at night. Re starts at 8am. No allocated car parks. As if u move your car, someone will take your park. Is now nothing but backpackers stay. Place could use a gardener also.
This is our 2nd visit to this lovely place, peaceful, lovely owner and accommodation comfortable and clean. Hence why we returned and will be our frequent stop over when visiting. Even though we are what you would call locals from cairns, we still love to support our local businesses and love the place. Thank you again.
Convenient, clean and with good amenities and breakfast. Ray the owner is super (perfect level) friendly and helpful. Quiet, relaxed and decent location, kitchen, books, TV room, swimming pool and pool table. My room key didn't work but my room mates were super chill and we shared the only working key. Would definitely stay there again.
The room was clean but not so clean for paying 87$. There was a lot of long brown hairs all over the room and we are two blond people. The blue towels meet some bleaching liquid, that looks not so good. The bed was damage on the sides. And the inkl. Breakfast was just a joke. All cups and glasses was dirty. So it’s better to stay in a share room for just the half price and just for a night over but not for longer. The share kitchen was also really dirty we used our one plates. The gas grill not worked really well.
