Circa Rooftop Restaurant & Bar

I have been here a few times and always had yummy food (though I thought the fish bowl drink was a bit overpriced for what I got). Tonight, my partner and I invited 7 of our friends to experience the yumminess we loved. The menu had changed, our favourite dishes were gone and the food came out quickly but tasted average. The bao buns were chewy (and it was spelled boa on the menu which have us a laugh), the chips were dry and the scallops had gone from multiple small soft scallops in a plate to one big firm scallop. Overall disappointing tonight and makes us not want to come again.

Sunshine Coast needs more venues like this that push the boundaries and offer new, exciting and tasteful experiences for those who want something a bit different. Circa brings the city vibes to the coast. We love coming here for an after work drink and tapas, looking forward to spending more time here:) Highly recommend.

Such a great spot, something that the Sunshine Coast hasn't seen before. An awesome place to go for a cool atmosphere, yummy cocktail and delicious tapas!

Good service, large drinks menu, specialise in cocktails by the looks of it. Beautiful setting.
The food was way too expensive. 1 bao bun for $13 is a bit far fetched. We didn't order any food for the cost reason.

Brilliant place with great views. A good variety of wines and fabulous food. A bit on the expensive side but a great place for a special night out.

Poor quality service. We asked for a table but got turned down by a lady. We called and then a table some how appeared. We got allowed into elevator but got met by a staff member at top floor who told us we are to young (all of us over 18) and sent us back down. Really disappointing service as we were going to spend money here. Will never be coming back here, maybe get the rules right and don't change them.

Finally something different on the Sunshine Coast! This place is fantastic and lives up to reputation as the coolest new kid on the block.
The daytine/sunset views are amazing and well worth getting there early in the evening, don't be fashionably late and arrive at dark. You'll miss the magic show!
The food is tapas and really really good. The service is mostly excellent although one of our waiters looked like a disinterested teenager. The bar is nice but limited, not much expertise or choice with wine or spirits, we didn't drink beer so can't comment.
We ordered premium spirits on the rocks and it came in a cheap looking glass with a few small ice cubes that melted in a matter of minutes. Not a big deal but not up to standard for a venue that crows about their premium liquor service to your table.
Get your friends together, dress to impress and get to Circa. But don't forget to book because it is invite-only up the secret elevator!

I would share the 6 critical errors made before even reaching the place if I felt it was it. Sadly it is waste of time, money and effort.

Computerised techno music does not float my boat. Food 3 out of 10. Service was ok we had a great waiter Peter/Pablo.
