Circa Rooftop Restaurant & Bar

When it got busy the table service lagged plates didn't get cleared till we asked glasses piled up and only 1 cash register was open so long waits in-between drinks arriving at the table.

A group of us ate at the Rooftop lounge bar on a Saturday night. We had over an hour wait on drinks, wrong drinks given, we weren't told about any wait. When ordering overpriced food we got half the serving size stated on menu, when asked about it server stated we were given "old menus" and walked away. When receiving salad we didn't get any napkins or cutlery, took over 30 minutes to receive Cutlery. Asked for a jug of tap water at bar and got charged for it, and had to juggle carrying jug and glasses all back myself, staff said I could do multiple trips if I want lol. When I was speaking to one of the servers at the bar about the wait on drinks the manager came over and said I needed to move so she could serve another couple that looked unhappy aswell. Overall very disappointing the amount of pressure put on the small staff they have, Circa are clearly taking on way more tables than they can handle and the service reflects on that.

Owner is cool the security guard was a bit of a wigout, getting into the building is pretty difficult 007 style

Great fitout and location, unfortunately the kitchens gas was not working and we couldn’t order any cooked food.

Love this place so much a beautiful venue for every occasion. Food is amazing and drinks are fantastic the staff are gorgeous it's all round fabulous

My partner and I normally go to the downstairs pub, Uptown Social-love the vibe there, but we thought we would try the rooftop bar for a change. Upon going up, we were escorted by a lovely lady from Uptown Social to the elevator. However, once we arrived at Circa we were greeted by a very sour women. She advised that there was a birthday celebration happening in 2hrs time so we had to leave pretty quickly. Nothing wrong with telling us that, I appreciate the fact we didn't have a booking and it was totally spontaneous but there are much nicer ways of saying this. It was almost like we were a pain in her rear end that we were there and couldn't wait for us to leave-probably because we weren't 'Insta influences'. The entrée we had (prawns) was very basic and over priced. Cocktails were nice, but I mean in a place like that you pay a premium for not only the food & drinks but for the service, which we didn't get. To top if off as we were leaving, the women (possibly the maître d') walks us out and is quite friendly at this point-I was thinking she must have been in a bade mood prior. I thought wrong, she was walking us out to make sure that we had paid for our drinks as if she thought we were going to do a runner! There's nothing I hate more in this world than snobs and even more so, snobs who are in a role who shouldn't have anything to be snobby about. This is the sunshine coast, this isn't Melbourne or Sydney. Long story short, or short story long.save yourself the time and go to Uptown Social, way better vibes and the staff are friendly!

While presented well, food was a little overpriced for what it was. Mocktail was ok but not particularly full of flavours, just missed the mark a little. Nice decor with a good vibe but chairs were really uncomfortable for more than an hour or so.

My friends and I came here to celebrate a birthday. At the time we had spent almost $500 on drinks when we received a horrible tasting drink and asked if we could have it replaced with something different (especially considering how much money we had spent) however we got told that they would not replace it for us. The waitress also said that everyone had been complaining about the drink. After this we decided to leave and while our friend was paying the bill the waitress rudely came up to us to make sure we were going to pay and when we said we were now she just rudely walked away. Definitely won't be back

Brilliant night out. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic night out. Special shout out to Paris, her service was impeccable. Divine cocktails, gorgeous decor and yummy food made for a night to remember.

We read the reviews before booking, thinking probably was a bit harsh but it really was terrible service, mediocre food and I would not recommend this place at all

As a roof top, this place is excellent. The setting is beautiful, pink themed, good cocktails and a fun, trendy atmosphere.

The food is quite nice, however disappointingly stingy. $14-$18 for a single Bao, although larger than normal, overpriced. The Kingfish was SPOT ON, the Cauliflower was almost absent, tasty, but the quantity did not match the price tag.

Perfect for drinks and light eats, but I’d skip this venue for dinner.

All in all, it is a great location and atmosphere, certainly check it out!

First time I had ever been to Circa Rooftop and it wasn’t a great experience. Wasn’t told wether it was table service or had to go to the bar to order. We were sitting there for 15 minutes waiting for someone to come over but decided to go to the bar. Got to
The bar and they tell us it’s table service. Very frustrating as no one had bothered to come to our table once since arriving. We were paying as we go, and then at the end of the night the waitress came over and said we owed $60 bux. We could all prove with internet banking that we were paying as we ordered but they made us fix up the $60.
That’s definitely the last time I will go there. It’s not cool to rip people off especially in a time like this. Absolutely appalling!

Nice space. Price on food and beverages need working on. $15 for a small side of plate of caramelised pork belly. $15 for 4 tempura mooloolaba prawns, best thing we got from the menu was $10 chips cause at least there was a semi decent amount for that price. Very unhappy with a cocktail called Victoria's secret being served in such a small glass for $18

It had a good atmosphere with unusual decore, friendly service and the the food was good. I would definitely go there again.

We came here to celebrate our engagement, no one knew at all and yet we were still treated like absolute kings and queens! Every single time and every single waiter / waitress that we had, were so professional, yet so relaxed and welcoming. The food and the drinks were incredible and we could not recommend a place anymore. We cannot wait to return, they spoke to us like real people and made recommendations but were never pushy. We felt so comfortable here and it’s such an intimate atmosphere. Absolutely beautiful. Hats off to the owners, managers, staff, chefs, everyone. My fiancé doesn’t even like prawns - but fell in love with them tonight! Thank you so much for our engagement celebration. You made our night without even knowing it! Will be thanking you all on the way out and will be back soon!

Circa rooftop is in a random spot, but it was amazing! The service out outstanding, the drinks were amazing and they even made us a mocktail off the cusp which was delicious!

We ordered the cauliflower and prawns. The prawns were delicious, but the cauliflower was a standout. We then ordered chips and the plate is huge! We only ate about half.

Will definitely be back.

This place is Awesome, the staff are super friendly and are run by a great manager Janet, The vibe of this place is unreal! And I did not want to leave at all, Me and my mates really enjoyed ourselves here and I Would recommend everyone to go and check it out! Thankyou and see you guys again soon.

The best wining and dining experience on the coast! Beautiful cocktails, delicious food top class service and decadent vibes! I can’t wait to return!

Share plates in a large group are not a good idea. Give everyone they're own meal. We are grown ups!

The vibe was good, the food was fair and our original table was occupied by others so we had to move, not a big deal but disorganized.the parking or lack of was a huge frustration
