Circa Rooftop Restaurant & Bar

Had booked a girls bottomless brunch here - including us there was 4 other tables here and I can see why now!
Food was amazing and staff was friendly BUT the bottomless brunch was not a vibe for $115 we were there for 3 hours not 2 because the service was slow and in those 3 hours each of us got 4-5 drinks which is absolutely a joke we waited what seemed like forever for a drink and when we went to double up it took even longer and they tasted like soda water or fruit juice barley any alcohol. And towards the end the waiter came up and said alright girls last drinks so we ordered 30 mins later they came up to our table and said we are closing and we said we are still waiting on our last drink the young girl went up to ask about it and came back saying she couldn’t serve us and it was the end of our session. (which is fine but don’t come and say last drinks and take our order then) I am not one to complain but this is a joke for $115 for a few watered down drinks and some food was a joke we left sober and all of us are mums that never get a change to go out! DO NOT BOOK THE BOTTOMLESS BRUNCH only come here for food. Super disappointed

To update to comment: yes we are totally aware that they are half shots but I have been to a few bottomless brunches and I’ve never had to wait so long for a drink in my life, you wernt busy and the wait time was just a joke

A bit up-market for the likes o' me. Interesting drinky-poos if your boss is paying. There isn't much of a view, if that's what you were expecting from a rooftop bar. Staff excellent.

Best place to enjoy happy hour with bussin cocktails! Chloe brings the best vibes with amazing service, she is the absolute best!

My group of girlfriends and I could not fault this venue! We indulged in the set lunch and bottomless cocktails option and oh my goodness - it was a TREAT! Everything was “insta” worthy and we can’t wait to celebrate here again!

Lovely decor, really nice staff, food was lovely and drinks where fab too really dissappointing more people where not there for the lunch time it was saturday i think maybe more advertising its a lovely place people need to know about it and it should be more busier.

This venue is designed and decorated with intimate booths/ lots of velvet and soft lighting. The staff were friendly and welcoming…. But. It’s a “rooftop” bar with a completely closed roof/ mostly closed windows, no outdoor areas and no views. Oh and on a “feels like” 32 degree humid night- no air conditioning- only a few ineffective ceiling fans…

We had one drink and couldn’t get out of there fast enough…. If it’s a closed venue for the love of life, please get air conditioning!

I had an amazing 27th birthday here! Honestly the best night I’ve had in so long. The menu is quite limited though so I basically just drank the cocktails but the staff were all lovely and attentive! And such a beautiful venue

The staff were incredibly welcoming! All made sure that we were well looked after and catered to every need.

So overpriced. $25 for 3 small scallops on a shell. $30 for a tiny piece of steak. Had to order sides to have with it! It’s such a shame they’re charging these prices. Music was too loud to enjoy conversation with friends. Saturday night and the place was ½ full. I now know why. It’s a lovely setting but it’s more just a pre dinner drink sort of venue.

Do not hire this venue for any events! My husband and I eloped, and wanted to have a delayed reception at this venue. We spent literally months trying to get the event planner to respond to our emails about paying them the deposit (she is completely unreachable via phone or in person), then spent further weeks just trying to get accounts to send the invoice. Then, nothing. No communication, no asking for the remaining fee, nothing.
Unfortunately, my husband had a medical emergency during our honeymoon and is not well enough to host or even attend our wedding reception, so I have been trying to contact them for the past week, to get a refund. (I don't have a contract with them for this event, and I can't see any policies about the deposit being non-refundable).
We are devastated, because this venue is gorgeous, and everything we wanted in a wedding venue, but even if we still were having the event there, we have absolutely no faith in them following though on our venue hire, because the lack of communication is atrocious! (It's only 2 weeks until our event date, and we haven't heard from them at all since we paid back in August).
I am absolutely gutted that we can't have our wedding reception, and having a venue that just doesn't care enough to respond to any emails is even worse.
Unless you enjoy planning an event while questioning the entire time if the venue will even hold up their end of the bargain, do not book this venue.
This was my dream venue, its so sad they don't inspire confidence from their paying customers.

The music was ridiculous. We came here at 6pm and the music was super loud - terrible rave/party music. The cocktails were ok but the food was massively disappointing. Overpriced and Bland calamari, average fries, and very dry (no sauce) chicken boa buns. Dissatisfied.

Awesome venue. Have been a few times now and the staff, decor and vibe is always on point. Great food and an amazing cocktail menu. Two times out of three visits there has been fire twirlers, a roller skating musical performer and these dancing lit up butterflies roaming around the room. Highly recommend this place, well worth a look.

We were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant.
The food, the cocktails, the staff, the entertainment and the atmosphere were far beyond our expectations.

Beautiful Venue, Amazing food, the Best cocktails and a fantastic atmosphere. We all had an amazing night! Would highly recommend.

Melbourne Cup function was amazing. Food was outstanding, service great and entertainment was cool. Would like to see this place in full swing at night.
