Incredibly well stocked store! Jun was very helpful over the phone. Helped load it into the car!

Walk in to the store, get ignored, no customer service. Can't help find things, don't like to get off the stool. They don't care about long time customers. 3/4 of our shop was bought through c&l and we've been treated like utter garbage. We bought a small gas bottle, told we could upgrade when we needed. Time for a bigger bottle and they decided they wouldn't help. Told to go elsewhere and find it (Total Tools i was told at the counter, (who wont take it), won't refund the bottle deposit. No contract they keep talking about, nor could they come up with anything. Just change stories and "we'll call back" but always forget your number.

12 years we'd been buying here, never again.
Treated our small charity like trash. Spoke to our boss like she was garbage and knew nothing.

C & L is a joke, no idea how to treat loyal customers as all they care about are internet sales.

You didn't give a toss the multiple times we tried dealing with you. You're the clowns who told us multiple times we could exchange for a bigger cylinder and then when we couldn't you left us high and dry.
Liars and nothing more.

Awful website security, hacked web pages sending out phishing emails. Beware, credit card payments and more can be compromised if the main web page PHP is scripted / hacked do to poor web security.

EDIT: I have edited my initial review since you have actually responded and I appreciate that, however your response seems like a straw-man argument to the actual issue (just because I have not purchased items from you doesn't mean your website was not compromised), you should just check your web security regardless as it was simply timely courteous info.

Back Story - Sooooo. I called looking a for a socket that was no longer made (as of dec 2021) trying to locate one was proving harder then I thought.
After calling quite a few people & internet searches, I called C&L Tool Center, Kevin answered.
He looked it up. Nope they had none.
Kevin could have stopped there like everyone else, but nope.

Kevin then emailed the rep, and then found out that some place in the NT had one, then called me back to let me know.

It is greatly appreciated & soon the pesky hard to get obsolete socket will be in the kit again, matching all the other ones. (not that I don't like the new shiny ones that are his replacements, but the whole kit is all the now obsolete type)

Will defiantly be coming back to these guys again.

Do not order if you live rural the free shipping over $99 won't apply to you and they won't even discount shipping very misleading! Also do not stock as much as stated!

I ordered 5 Bessy clamps on Thursday morning and received them Friday morning before smoko l was using them less than 24hr after ordering OUTSTANDING! I was almost blown off My feet if you have to order anything from local businesses it takes at least two weeks I will be purchasing a lot more from C&L Tool Centre in the future.

Ring em with a part number even if it's not online and they'll express ship it no dramas. Don't have to chase them up like the big 2 red franchises in Sydney.
