Bunnings Mackay North

Richmond’s bunnings is a joke. When we needed a hand to find one item, we had to walk the full length of bunnings just to find anyone who worked in the store. Then she’s telling us it’s in an aisle that has nothing to do with the product we needed. After finally finding the item ourselves because the person who finally showed up never took us to where it was, we went to pay, there was a girl behind the counter more interested in eating an icecream cone then she was in serving customers. Didn’t even check to see if anyone needed serving. Absolutely ridiculous

It was the first time we’d been to North Mackay Bunnings & wow we were impressed, it’s huge & got loads of stuff to buy, which we did
Love the range of Ryobi stuff too. Good & easy parking, & staff that are helpful & friendly!

Was really disappointed to see the service to an elderly lady, who was struggling to push her trolley and wouldn’t have been able to load her items into the car “find the trolley boy he’ll help you”

Please bring back the seniors who understood how things work. Today I was told, the paint dept cant be manned as they are busy putting stock away and if needed I could go in searche of help. Hello! Whneedsstock when your customers are walking away.

Very well set out and have always had what we have been there for.
I live Bunnings everywhere. Have shopped at Darwin, Mackay, Bunderberg, Tamworth, Armidale, all over Brisbane. It's my big girls Toy Store.

Great place to shop but sometimes very hard to find staff when you are looking for something or need help.

I shop here a lot, website stock levels are constantly wrong, they are usually under staffed in busy periods, most staff lack product knowledge, there are some great staff tho. Hannah in paint is amazing at matching colours manually. The whole "beat it by 10 percent" and "lowest prices" marketing is total BS. You need to know product values. I showed a quote from Porter's on a heap of timbers, and they couldn't even match it. Porter's have much better prices on a lot of things, just don't have the range that Bunnings have

Eric took my order for a Ryobi cordless mower and delivered it for me as I had broken my ankle.

Awesome range of stock. Great for samples of materials for home renos. Although some of the shower displays need the hand of a tradesman to look a bit more enticing.

At the register the staff member was more interested in talking to another staff member instead of focusing on our paying. Very disturbing.

Service was DISGRACEFUL. Workers were poorly (or not) trained. Stock was in the most random places ever. Went in looking for plastic sheeting, and after asking a worker at the service desk (you know, that place where customers go to GET HELP) and was told they had no idea what I was talking about. It seemed that the staff to customer ratio was roughly 1 to 100, and the staff that had bothered to come in were unhelpful, rude, and utterly HOPELESS. It seems that they hire high schoolers that barely have any idea how the outside world works. It would be very surprising if this Bunnings sees my face again.

Great customer service and they can always direct me to the right place to go or the best person to see for any job.
Love the Cafe and playground for my kids.

Always had good experiences at Bunnings. But today was not that great.
I understand if a cashier is busy and I am more than happy to stand in line and wait. But if you over to help me don’t get grumpy and irritated with me, you offered to help.

Today 26/9 great and friendly service from every one Caleb and Joel at the irrigation, the lady at the tile department thanks and the lady at the check out thank you everyone.

Great store with plenty of range and a nice temperature. Employees could be more available at times and the cut shop could cut timber more accurately but on the whole a great Bunnings!

Employees just stood around and spoke to one another whilst a long line at the checkout got longer instead of coming over and doing their job

Friendly red shirted staff.
Found what I wanted pretty quickly.

What's not to love

This place is a joke, staff standing around talking, eating iceblocks. The guy out the back just walking back and forwards looking at us not asking if we would like any help. We had a ute and trailer load. Won't be back here again. What a circus.

Don't honour Warranty on expansive goods. That is bad service. Don't buy kaboodle kitchen poor quality hinges are poor quality and break all the time.doors bow door skins scratch easily and split. Not worth the money they charge.

Welcoming and friendly staff and service. Huge variety of stock. Found exactly what I needed. Reasonable prices. Lots of on site specials to tempt you. Toilets are available and always clean. Heaps of parking available.

Clearly management do nothing always understaffed can never get anyone to help you if another staff member needs help poorly managed besides that you know who the real workers are and it's definitely not higherakies of the place I feel sorry for the team members
