Always able to find what I need and evidently things I didn’t know I needed.
Easy to get around and find things using the website that gives you the isle and bay location.

Have a good range of products. The staff member I interacted with was not able to help me with my query about a product and seemed in a hurry to move on.

Bunnings is a great place to go to get a bit of everything. Cairns city store staff is hit and miss. Some are knowledgeable and helpful, others just point you in the wrong direction and you need to keep asking until you get someone that is helpful. Been in other stores that go above and beyond. This store doesnt

Great place to buy anything you need to do DIY projects around the home and get good advice.

Their service is second to none, especially the team at the trade counter. Advice from all the people is good and very helpful. They know exactly where items are and provide assistance as required. Highly recommend.

Very large store with a lot of selection. There is everything you need for crafting.
The staff helps where they can.

Second time I have had to use “Special Orders “ told me it would take 3-4 weeks, on line from Bunnings 7-10 days. Idiots Went to a local supplier who had it in stock.

Bunnings at Portsmith is 100% more professional than Bunnings Smithfield.
Chalk and cheese as to how they are managed!
A teenager with pimples must be running Smithfield!

What you expect of the Bunnings chain, helpful, knowledgeable staff, great range, etc. BTW this is full size warehouse, with huge stock holding, (unlike Inisfail) so is easier to navigate and find what you are after.

I bought a battery for my whipper snipper the day before, which I was told would fit my machine (even took my machine in with me to make sure I got the right battery).
Not happy Jan.
I had to go back in the next day, to make a complaint about being given the wrong information (after fully charging said battery and trying to fit it to my machine for half an hour, thinking, it's me I must be holding it wrong).
But NO was not me it was the battery.
Spoke to the Service Desk.
Told them what was said to me and after more discussions a phone call to the manager was made.
I walked out 20mins later with a smile on my face and a discount in my trolley, for my troubles.

I like Bunnings but witnessed the portly gentleman who stands at the door in the garden section rudely put his palm in front of an elderly ladies face stopping her in mid sentence when she was trying to ask a question. It was a disgusting interaction to see.

Great range of stock. Helpful service. Stand out was the older gentleman on the boomgate who checks your car. He was so friendly and not intrusive at all.

I was in Bunnings Cairns city store Fri 22nd Oct.
Been in Bunnings thousands of time, & always the same service.
This afternoon I was in front of the tool shop, & asked someone where the star pickets were.
The older gentleman named Mick who I found out works in Nightfill went way beyond what I have ever expected.
He walked me to the other side of the store to the outdoor gardening area to show me exactly where they were, & then told me about each different types.
I’m a 50tr old male, & have never ever had that quality service in all my years of shopping in a Bunnings store.
I was expecting him to say aisle 30 or something.
I just want to say a big thank you to you Mick.

Check your receipts. 2nd time I've been charged the normal price on an item that had a discounted tag from the clearance shelves. So my fault for not checking while here. Not worth my time to go back. 2 stars just so it can get noticed and hopefully fixed for others. 5 stars for the staff and nine stars for the snags preferably with butter onions and BBQ sauce like its supposed to be lol; oh and bacon if you're fancy. No need to reply just please sort that issue. Cheers.

Some rude bloke with dark hair roused my partner and I for looking through a stack of timber bench tops to chose our colour. He then further argued with us upon leaving and I suggested he had an entire hour to help us rearrange them to his liking. Not a nice experience.

Nobody is interested in helping you find anything in this place. Bring back the black guy wuth tgr big afro he worked in the tools section but knew where everything was in the whole store. Ain't no service going on here folks. I go anywhere else these days to avoid bunnings!

Absolutely love going to Bunnings. Have to be careful as I'll fill my trolley with so many amazing things you will find when your there to grab just a couple of things. Great prices and a massive range of everything. I love the place ️️️
