Animal Welfare League Qld reviews
61Staff were lovely and really care about the animals. We came home with a new addition to the family.
Perfect place to find your next fur baby. Please help out by visiting and supporting this amazing place. Adopting Luna was the best thing that happened last year. We are so blessed to win the cat lotto with her?
We ended up getting Bruno a Bull Arab x Great Dane 13 months. So sad to see so many furry buddies needing homes. Friendly staff
Denied a dog because I worked casually and they said I couldn't afford to look after it. Then I got a full time job and was denied again because they said I didn't have time to look after it with my work schedule. Which one is it? No wonder they're overcrowded.: (
Lovely staff. The animals are wonderfully looked after. Easy to find them with lots of parking. If u don't have a pet carrier, you can buy one from them to bring home ur new family member.
We had the best experience with fostering and then adopting our pup! The amount of support we received throughout the fostering period was incredible, any question or concern was not an issue for the staff at all. The adoption process was also seamless and we could not recommend the Warra shelter more.
Its one of the best places i have gone to the animals come first and the volunteers really put in 100 to make sure you and the pet you wkuld like to take home are good together the volunteer s explain every single detail they are great people.
It is indeed an animal shelter, exactly what you ought to expect. 3 stars. How can a place like this be anything except, bad / good enough?
Impressive efforts and 24/7 care for animals. Please adopt animals from them, and support this charity that has saved lots of lives and helped animals find homes.
The animals are well looked after and I was so impressed by the housing. Once im ready for my next cat I'll be back!
I adopted a beautiful American staffy girl today. The centre is fantastic and the staff are so caring and helpful. Please look at adopting, your life and the animals will be so much better.
As much as I love love love animals. Im sick of applying and getting rejected they say animals need homes well I have so much love to give a dog I have a good yard high fences etc and I have a dog now but I have more love to give.so not fair.my home is a happy one and a very clean one.
I really want to rescue a DOG PLEASE.so many other people would agree
I bought a pound of Dog meat from this place. Most of it tasted okay but some of the meat had odd blue pills in it.
We adopted our Kelpie from here a little while ago. Could not be happier with her! Thank you to all the hard work that Animal Welfare League do. We love supporting no-kill shelters.
First visit here to drop off a donation. I found the place easily, no issues with parking, and facilities were clean and fresh. Very helpful with info and answering all my questions - and grateful for donation. Good experience, highly recommend.
My friend's dog got out recently and the animal welfare league was extremely helpful. They located and got Tak the Shep to safety and contacted the owner prior to opening hours as they knew of the owners distress!
Rescued 2 little kittens and AWL took them in to give them medical attention and find new homes.
Not sure what all the comments about the staff are about, I found everyone to be very helpful and friendly, particularly Nikki the dog handler, thankyou.
The animal welfare league bracket ridge is an adoption centre aswell as a holding shelter, there were a lot of older dogs there at the time that needed good homes, I would certainly buy a rescue than support pet shops and puppy farms or back yard breeders
