UBX South Bank (formerly 12 Rounds) has been nothing short of life changing for me. This is no exaggeration. From UBX I've gained strength, confidence, better mental health, boxing skills, a love for working out and some pretty amazing friends along the way. I walked in the door to lose weight and gained all this as well!

I have never been a "gym person" and it wasn't until I found UBX that I loved working out. Open morning and night (and Friday lunch) you can jump into the rounds at any time and complete as many or as little as your ability allows. A full-body workout in 40-45min and no thinking required, with the task of each round displayed on a screen for you. That's what I love most about UBX is that there's no thinking involved and you are guided the whole way. So even if you're not a "gym person" like me, you will feel comfortable at UBX. But what makes this place really special are the trainers. Every session you have at least one trainer doing boxing padwork with you. And if you come late in the morning just before close you may get a one-on-one HAHAHA. Special shoutout to coach Khoa and coach Shaye. They are the best trainers around and have been so motivating for me. I enjoy coming here every day and am so happy to see their smiling faces. LEGENDS! If you want a gym that values you and your goals COME TO UBX!

I have been a regular member of 12 rounds since 2018 (now known as UBX) and find the workout routine is not only challenging but fun and exciting. No fixed time slots are also really convenient.
The boxing padwork is my all time favourite and the trainers are both professional, helpful and enthusiatic. Shout out to Khoa for always creating such a high energy and positive vibe! Keep up the good work UBX!

12 reasons to love this place;
1-) environment is amazing.
2-) all of the trainers are super helpful and lovely️
3-) you feel like you have your own PT because all of the trainers are keeping eye on you for motivating and teaching the right movements.
4-) you can have one on one boxing between your sesh.
5-) it’s only 12 rounds.
6-) total training time takes about 40min.
7-) you can burn so much calories in short time.
8-) you don’t need to book any classes.
9-) every time you get different exercises.
10-) either morning person or night person can organise the training time.
11-) you can have free boxing gloves when you sign up
12-) if you really need somewhere that someone needs to push you during your training time that’s the right place to go!

UBX (formally 12 Rounds Southbank) has been a staple in my morning routine for the past 4-5 years. Whether you’re training for the very first time or have been for years the trainers/owners will make you feel welcome and excited to train each day. With the ability to tailor workouts to your personal goals i.e. Fitness or strength, UBX provide an assortment of weights, advanced alternatives or regressions if injured or you’re at the beginning of your fitness journey. With sessions running in the morning, lunch and evenings, you can fit in a session with your busy lifestyle. UBX removes the dread of planning your own workout as the trainers have done it all for you, displayed on screens showing how the exercise is correctly performed which is great if you haven’t done that exercise before. Multiple 6-week-challenges are run throughout the year allowing you to challenge yourself and your fellow UBX members, setting benchmarks at the start and end of the 6 weeks to track your progress and compete for top benchmarks. Overall, it is a great place to train, changing your mood instantaneously as you walk through the doors setting you up for a good day.

I highly recommend joining 12rnds south bank. Khoa and his team of pts bring a positive atmosphere, vibe and personality through training sessions. They will track your body composition to help achieve your desired fitness goals too

I love this gym, I’ve never in my life been a morning gym person and yet with 12 Rounds I can be there sometimes before 6am! Khoa is amazing and keeps the workouts fun and engaging, they’re always different and it feels fresh every time - setting me up for a productive day.
Wish I had joined sooner, and so glad to be a long time 12 rounds member now!
This gym is a little community and they also go to the effort to organise social events throughout the year.
Thank you Khoa and the team 10/10 can’t recommend highly enough

Absolutely love it. Felt so welcomed and so encouraged by ALL staff from the get go. The set up and idea make it so easy to show up and get in an awesome full body workout! I never go a session without one on one training/attention where their advice helps me see and feel improvement in my boxing every single time. There is nothing they aren't happy to help with! Absolutely beautiful culture there.

12RND is the gym I’ve been searching for, for years. I’ve always felt uncomfortable and clueless in other gyms, but I feel right at home here. From my first session the trainers made me feel so welcome. They are always looking out to make sure you’re pushing yourself and completely the exercises properly. All of the trainers are so fun, it feels more like training with friends. Everyone at the gym is super friendly and helps to create an awesome environment. The ease of being able to show up and have a full body workout ready for me without any of the mental load is also so helpful! Could not recommend them enough! It’s like having a gym, classes, PT and boxing all in one.

I've been going to 12RND South Brisbane for a few years now and can't imagine training anywhere else. As someone who thrives on variety, 12RND has been the perfect place for me - every day is different, so you never get bored.

The trainers also make each session so enjoyable and they've always been soooo supportive and helpful in tailoring each workout to my needs. No matter what your fitness level is, or whether you have to work around any injuries, you can always get a workout that best suits yourself and your goals.

10/10 would recommend!

12RND South Brisbane helped me learn to love exercise! From someone who didn’t even know how to jab or pick up a weight, their staff went above and beyond to get me to where I needed to be. I would like to thank Khoa and Shaye, especially, for taking their time to teach me the fundamentals of boxing and helping me improve on my strength, power, coordination and endurance. I love the teamwork they share and the passion for padwork, i thoroughly enjoy coming in everyday to learn a new flow and adapt to new challenges. Thanks 12RNDSouth Brisbane!

Being 3 months post partum, I thought it would be more than a challenge to even get started at any gym. I decided to give 12RNDS Fitness a try and I LOVE IT! Coaches/Trainers are super nice, easy going AND push you to train harder every session. They explain each exercise if you don’t know how to perform them and modify any exercise to suit your capability! In my case I’ve had a caesarean and so I can’t perform all ab exercises just yet, HOWEVER the exercises I am given work my core to the point I’m sore after each session! That’s my favourite kind of sore! I can already feel so much improvement in my fitness AND this is the first time I’ve stayed consistent at any gym! Thank you 12RNDS & thank you Eli who is the trainer there every morning for helping me! I’ve never been more excited & motivated working out at 5: 45 in the morning!: D

My absolute favourite way to start the day is with a workout at 12rnd Southbank. The workouts are varied, there is always a trainer there to ensure you are pushing yourself and working out using perfect form, and the atmosphere is AMAZING. Khoa, Shaye and Eli are such caring and supportive trainers with incredible knowledge. Highly recommend.

Absolutely love this place! The trainers are so patient, they modified exercises for me to accommodate sporting injuries, they always welcome you with a huge smile, they make you feel truly valued and want to see you succeed. Every session is different and the vibe makes every workout fun!

I started my fitness journey at 12RND Southbank a year ago. I don't think I could have wished for a better place to achieve my goals. I developped a real passion and can push myself every single day thanks to the quality of training and advices provided by their amazing personal trainers.

I did not only became a better version of myself, physically and mentally but I also met the best people I could find to progress with, athletes and trainers. I can't speak highly enough of 12RND Southbank and I am proud to be a part of this outstanding community.

I honestly hated any form of exercise but everyone is so welcoming and fun that it doesn’t even feel like exercise! Shaye is my favourite

Best gym ever! Khoa, shaye, Laura and Eli are the best gym trainers I've ever had, even when my motivation is low they manage to make me have a great gym session! I came in never have boxed before and now I love it thanks team!

I started training at 12rnd South Bank in September 2020 and since day 1, the trainers (especially Laura, Shaye and Eli) make every session memorable. They are always welcoming and I have loved my time at 12rnd South Bank. Highly recommend the team and environment!

P. S. Khoa is my favourite dog loving trainer!
