Before heading to to the Uluru Base Walk we stopped at the cultural centre. It is a lovely place which gives great insight on the significance of the national park and we even saw a cultural talk regarding the different bush foods and other insights on Indigenous Australians. There is a cafe, art gallery and souvenirs here also which were great to have a look at. You can not video or take any photos here.

Great experience. Added a little more to my knowledge of the original people of this country. Thank you so much for allowing us to share beautiful nation with you.

You can get art here. There are like three different galleries. And also some culture shared by Anangú People.
The Cafe offers basic sandwiches, but good enough to keep you going.
A place worth visiting.
Not many photos allowed.

Great to finally see the rock for myself.the centre was done nicely. Not sure why no photos allowed.best advertisement in the grape vine.bit disappointing the rope around the rock.not some where I would not return to. Long drive plus price od entry to look at uluru and not take pictures at the culture centre to be able to explain what I saw.

I learnt heaps here over about 75'. Ranged over bush tucker especially damper preparation, orche grinding, use of seeds for decoration, dot painting, and tool and weapon making. How to find whitchetty grubs was fun (photo).

Recently renovated with information presented easily. The cafe was closed when we visited but plenty of space to sit and eat lunch.

Be sure to stop here and pick up the maps for Uluru and Kata Tjuta before setting out on one of the many amazing walks. Spend some time here to gain some insight into the geography, culture and sensitivity of this region.

A bit understaffed again.cos of covid but the staff in the Cafe (which I just think was one person at the time) was very friendly and helpful. On the whole a pleasant experience.

A great little Cultural Centre that tells a story of the local aboriginal people. The ceter also has a cafe/ gift shop and two art stores selling local art and craft. Worth a visit

Very interesting and had a great vidio to watch about bush tucker. Alot of artifacts and art. Had a small cafe where you also could get coffee and buy art works.

The video was a bit buggy (kept pausing) but educational about aboriginal culture. Rest of the displays didn’t tell me all that much new. Worth stopping though.

You come away feeling more knowledgeable about the real history of Uluru and it's people. Take your time reading and taking in everything and you will truly experience something very special.

Informative start to our Uluru trip! And Steven was very passionate and helpful in planning the rest of our trip - thank you!

Arrangements with local artists has generated a lot of affordable, original work. Bought two pieces.

Man there was knowledgeable about the art, and played host to the event (artists are bussed in and they all paint).

Cafe was closed (Covid), other than that, decent experience. And there were cold drinks and toilet nearby.

Don't bother at the moment as almost everything is closed. Not wheelchair friendly at all. Very disappointed in uluru.

Very quiet. Lovely artworks. Being afternoon, there was no kiosk open for refreshments. Heat probably impacts on visitor numbers.
