Tennant Creek Caravan Park

We stayed there for one night. Definitely recommended as it is very secured site with beautiful lawn areas.

The sites have a nice layer of grass, which is lovely with all the red dirt. The park is fully fenced for added security. The toilets are old and in need of a clean, and renovation. The toilets are stained, but with elbow grease it will come up new. The showers are the worst design I have ever seen. The shower bases are higher than the changing area, so this floods with water and your shoes get wet. The shower curtains are too short to stop this water. There is no bench inside to sit down and place your toiletries. No dump point. Managers are lovely.

This is a great park, owners were very security conscious, locked high gates at 6.30pm and opened at 6.00am. The owners are great and hubby takes you to your allocated site.

Fairly decent park, good sized sites, good security considering half the population are indigenous, gates are locked at dark each day. Most sites have power, water and sullage.

For a desert park its a beauty. Nice sites. Lawns, shaded, very clean older amenities.
Great canp kitchen. Friendly managers.

I felt safe. Nice showers and clean toilets. We were not put on a great spot but thats ok. Water was drinkable filled up tanks caught up on the laundry great little spot. Management very helpful. The town looks sad on the outside but it felt good.

Hats off to the groundsperson for such a tidy well kept Caravan Park & recycling facilites. Gorgeous native shade trees and grass commons. Tropical shade covered pool may need a roll back cover in cooler months & sealed roads to reduce the red dust levels for 5 stars. Staff so friendly too.

Amenities, Laundry and Camp Kitchen were everything we needed.
We will stay again when we're next in the neighbourhood.

Stayed overnight with our camper whilst on our trip to Alice. Nice set up, pretty native trees around, really tidy, facilities were clean and had hot water late at night. Owners were lovely and helpful, from showing us our site, guiding us in, checking in to make sure we were all good and no issues after setting up, telling off loud crews as soon as reported and checking in again in the morning. There's security gates and felt safe. Highly recommend staying and would stay there again. Should have stayed an extra night to do bettery hill and the lake.

Stayed here twice O/N to and from Central Australia. Very clean and nice grounds with excellent kitchen and bathroom amenities. Friendly hosts made us feel welcome. Top of Town Cafe (coffee and breakfast) and Sporties (dinner and drinks) are both a very close walk.

Disturbed night with children yelling and banging on cabin within the facility. Don't stay if you are looking for a good night sleep.

Pretty good cabins, clean and well looked after. The park is fenced off and have the coded gate entrace so quite secure. Friendly staff and overall good service.

We broke down just out of Tennant Creek and ended up staying here for 5 days while waiting for a car part. The park itself is very comfortable with great facilities and also accommodated our needy dog. Mick and Jayne were the highlight of our stay and positively influenced our view of Tennant Creek. Their hospitality, kindness and friendship will never be forgotten. Couldn't have wished for a better place or management to be stuck with.

First park as you come into town. Shady sites, dodgy pool, helpful owners who aim to get the facilities fixed up. A suitable position for a.break from the road.

Oct 2019 - good cabin at this price, although it was showing its age with the fittings. Bathroom was tinny but served its purpose.

We had car troubles and a man staying there said he is mechanic (in a white car) he is not and we paid and had to take to mechanic to fix properly, take advantage of tourist.

We've been here many times over the past 4 years, as we live in a community 3 hours away, and I'd recommend without hesitation. It's changed owners a few times in the last few years but we've always had a good experience. It's clean and the past and current owners are really friendly and helpful.

Obviously has been in a run down state as it is now under new management. Security is great, high fences and secured gates at night. Good pool to cool down in, excellent and clean toilets and showers, 3 amenities blocks, camp kitchen and a laundry. Cabins, drive through sites powered and empowered. The machines in the laundry are not working too well and management is in the process of replacing. There is a launder the in the shopping centre if needed.
We found it to be a very clean and tidy caravan park.

The worst cabin we have stayed in $100 night and would of slept better on the ground springs in mattress sticking into us, aircon works but very loud and shakes the whole bed, very noisy dogs barking, people yelling couldn’t wait to leave
