Do not stay in Tennant Creek.
Keep driving right on thru to
3 Ways.
2 couples in 2 camper trailers booked in around 5 and settled in for the evening.
Camp kitchen good, amenities ok.
On retiring around 10pm we slept pretty well until we were woken
by our car alarm.
Slightly dazed we raced outside to find the drivers door open.
It turns out a young indigenous idiot entered our camper while we slept
Went thru the wife purse and nicked 60 bucks and the car keys. He used the key to open the door and had just enough time to grab my wallet (no cash) and our JBL blue tooth speaker.
Park staff in morning were helpful and apologetic.
Police arrived and did nothing.
They were more concerned with protecting the towns image.
Stay away.
Drive straight on thru. Perhaps then caravan parks will do something about the woeful security.
HE WAS IN OUR CAMPER WHILE WE SLEPT!

Great park as a stopover for us twice. Maybe not the most modern but plenty of hot water for showers, clean washing machines and camp kitchen. Friendly management team.

Very nice for overnight stay. Good, clean amenities. Lovely managers. Quiet and peaceful despite being on main road next to petrol station
Recommend.

Can't fault it. Had a very last minute stop in for one night. Staff (I'm assuming the owners) were lovely and very accommodating. It had a nice grass area and both powered and unpowered sites, well spaced.
The facilities are a bit old but nice and clean and obviously looked after. There's a pool there but we didn't check it out.
Would definitely stay again if in the area.

One stand out was the wonderful staff not only with the welcome but the there help when needed and the best wishes when leaving. Given how remote and dry this town is its a diamond in the ruff offering piece of mind secure parking.

Really is the place to stay when you go to Tennant Creek. Managers (Corey and Em) are so helpful, I really feel that nothing is to much to ask of them.
The park has a great relaxed feel, amenities are clean and functional, nice shady sites, a pool to cool off in and it felt very safe and secure.

Great little caravan park. Emma and her hubby were super friendly hosts. We felt safe as it has gates that are locked overnight. Pet friendly amd well priced.

Love the drive through sites. Very welcoming after a long day on the road. Bit of noise from the locals not the parks fault. Felt safe in this park.

An Oasis in the middle of the desert. Nice grassy sites and shady trees give the park a really lovely relaxed feeling.
There were a couple of families there and the kids were riding their bikes around and seemingly trotting off to the pool every chance they got.
The managers are great people, Corey and Em will go to great lengths to ensure you have a safe and comfortable stay. Will definitely stay there again.

Team dynamite! Emma and Corey THANKYOU for making our stay pleasurable and worth every penny ;p They were so accomodating and we didn’t feel like we were staying at a caravan park (persae) haha ie, squashed in, cluttered and compact. We felt truly like we were in the outback with no one around but with lush green grass and the safety and amenities for a comfortable stay. Highlyyyyyyyyy recommend over the other caravan park! X

Aircon needs attention. Hot as Hades. Receptionist was fantastic it would appear that the interior of OZ really know how to charge for their hospitality. All are dearer than a good city motel. Left at 430am as the aircon ceased to function. Wildlings were screaming at the top of their lungs just outside the fence. Thought there would have murder most foul. Shower was deplorable. The towels however were lovely. Got outside the locked gate there were packs of wildlings roaming the main street in packs of about a dozen. Most aged between 10 and 18 years of age I would have thought. Luxury cabin my arse. Never again. It must be stated, the park has no control over aforementioned wildlings.

Pulled in for a stop over. Drive through site was great for the overnighter. The manager was lovely. The added bonus is that It's gated and surrounded by barbed wire so felt safe to stay.

The staff were very accommodating due to our circumstances, getting stuck during a lockdown was not pleasant at all, but the staff here did what they could to help us out, we recommend staying here, the cabins were just the right size, had everything we needed and lots of open spaces for the kids to run around.

A very nice park
After staying at the Outback caravan park we decided to stay at the Tennant Creek caravan park.
Way nicer and grass sites unlike the other park.
Even has better security with security gates locked after 6.30pm
Code access.
Highly recommend.
Close to the Iga and BP service station.
Do yourself a favour stay here over the other one.
5/5
Toilets / showers very clean

Amazing place! The two teenagers cleaning (and helping run the place) were awesome! Although they wouldn't stop giggling

Big gap to tap and power made it difficult, but otherwise ok. Needed to have a look before choosing site near friends. Will remember next time. Otherwise, convenient to supermarket and shops.

Nice park, secure at night. Nice owners. Town doesn't have much going for it but a good place to rest up for the night.

We stayed in one of the deluxe cabins due to our van breaking down just outside of Tennant Creek. The owners and all of the staff here are so incredibly helpful and went above and beyond for us to feel safe, welcome and attended to! The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Would recommend staying here on your way to Alice Springs or Darwin:)
