Nice, but the room A/C was a bit strange located at one end with a corridor between the bedroom and the air-conditioned end. Finally figured it out. Turn the ceiling fan in the aircon room on full. Then place the desk chair under the fan so it directs the air down the corridor. Cool air now gets to the bedroom. Perfect. Otherwise the hotel has great staff and a nice layout, if a little dated. Free parking outback which is nice.

Excellent customer service, the staff were always willing to help me with anything I needed. The restaurant had good meals, and the bar was pretty handy after a day of exploring the city and surrounds. It's proximity to Mitchell Street also makes it a great place to stay if your keen to check out the nightlife. Will definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Darwin.

Hotel was great but rooms were a little dated. Staff friendly and helpful. Pool area needs major renovation as some parts were dangerous. Could do with vending machines as bar not open during the day due time of year.

Centrally located on The Esplanade and within walking distance to shops, the wave park, pubs, cafes and restaurants.

Signs over the bar indicate it's open daily from 2: 00 PM, but it doesn't open until 4 PM.

Breakfast is great, but we weren't impressed with the dinners we were served. Lunch is not available. Unless you park in the street, parking is AU$10 a day.

They have a small pool at the rear and they can arrange complimentary use of a nearby gym.

Friendly staff offering great Customer service.
This accommodation is very close to the heart of the Darwin city. The room was large and well presented with a lovely view from my window. In room safe, iron & board, hair dryer, small fridge with coffee and tea amenities.

The foyer is lush with tropical plants and plenty of seating. The dining room was very clean and I was served by Delia who was just lovely.
Although the menu is limited, it means what they offer is of a high standard.
I enjoyed a succulent Barramundi, followed by a melt-in-your-mouth Raspberry & Almond slice, double cream and an amazing crunchy crumble!
Buffet breakfast starts at 6am until 10am (full breakfast $29) or you can preorder for morning room service.

Across the road is the lovely Bicentennial Park with plenty of shade and seating.

Paid parking is available at the rear.
Wheelchair access and parking is available.

A great #Accor #hotel hiding in the #darwin CBD. Friendly helpful staff, welcoming reception. Rooms are large enough for family with kids, clean, bed is comfortable, no outside noise, nice esplanade views. Pool is big enough for kids with a little grassy play area. Foyer is green and leafy and great for kids to investigate. Large range of breakfast choices.
A great place for a romantic staycation

No in-room snacks; no mini bar; $8/stubbie during happy hour - rest of stay needs to be superb and no TV instructions or guide lol

Very average rooms, I was in a ‘Junior Suite’ which had been partially refurbished but the bathroom hadn’t been touched in years. Nice staff and breakfast was good but the place has the feel about it that it would’ve been great 20 years ago. A good few more modern hotels nearby that I would consider before the Novotel.

Nice place. Good staff. Clean premises. Not a large hotel so good vibe. Nice wee bar. Got a late checkout too which was a bonus.

Quite expensive weird layout of room. Worst feature was the horrible mouldy smell. Pool looked onto horrible flats. View outside ok. Wouldn’t stay.

Just okay, nothing special. Rooms are clean but very dated and the air con was a real issue blowing hot air into the room, also the tiles around the pool area move a lot and are coming loose! My toddler was able to pull one tile around the spa completely off with ease. Staff were nice enough though, breakfast was too expensive for what it is.

Close to everything, stones throw away from bars, eateries and downtown. Their bar at happy hour is nice. Room were clean although looking tired. Could do with a renovation. Got a carpark for guests.
Staff friendly and helpful
All in all, good stay

Got a nice suit on the 5th floor so got wake up to sunrise I've the sit and watch storms coming in. Super nice and helpful friendly staff. Scrambled eggs and baked beans are a little but of a let down. Aside from that it was lovely and convinient for the espanade.the water front and the city.

Basic accommodation. Only stay there if you have a connecting or early flight, otherwise you can definitely do better. Chinese restaurant is also really overpriced and very mediocre in taste. I always choose Mercure over Novotel

Great staff, great location, buffet breakfast has everything you'd want. Would be nice to have a daily special dish so there was something different for people staying more than a couple of days. Only downside is it's a bit dated but clean so ready for a fefurb.
