Novotel Darwin Airport

The Novotel is a convenient place to stay and the refurbished rooms are great. However Grace is absolutely phenomenal and she always makes my stay welcoming and very efficient.

Nice hotel right at airport, freindly staff and great conference rooms. Pool is beautiful with a nice bar and a beer garden. Food is nice with snacks available in reception.

Arrived on the first day of snap lockdown so we saw lots of the inside of the hotel room! Short walk from the airport terminal. Staff were helpful and friendly, and the room service food was delicious and plentiful. Great place to layover when flying in or out very late.

Great Customer service provided by Grace at the reception desk! Friendly, welcoming, polite and helpful. Also I met two housekeeping ladies who were also very friendly and welcoming.

The room was very clean and well presented with all the amenities you would expect, including bar fridge, kettle, tea and coffee, iron and board.
The bathroom was spacious with a shower size for 2 people.
There was a small balcony although quite hot due to facing the sun.
My room had two double beds and a large TV.

There is a small shop in the lobby offering drinks, snacks and icecreams.

There is a also a Gym room with an extensive range of equipment including walkers, weights etc.

The pool is located to the right side and also extends the dining area for the Loong Fong Restaurant.
The food is delicious with a good variety on offer.

A bus shuttle service is available for FREE to and from the Airport.

Wheelchair access and parking is available.

I highly recommend you stay at Novotel as staff are friendly and it's value for money.

Great rooms, great Chinese restaurant just downstairs, ice cold beer, & 5 minutes walk to airport

Great place but be aware absolutely NO food delivery apps will come to this hotel but theres a cafe cross road or go to mecure which is sooo inconvenient. Sad this hotel cant offer something as basic as room service to their guests, all round disappointing experience and hungry. Very unfair to your guests, find a better solution you cant leave your guests hungry, not even a food vending machine in the lobby. IM NEVER STAYING AT NOVOTEL AGAIN.at least mecure feed their guests.

I had 18 hours transfer in Darwin Novotel in Jan 2020. It was a pleasant stay.as being Accor plus member, I had free drinks and discount of food order in Mercure Darwin airport, which is opposite to Novotel Darwin airport (just cross the road, very easy). Strongly recommend for all the airport transfer guests, only 5 mins walking (free shuttle is also available at hotel). But I prefer walking. LOL

Professional and well managed. Although if you dont like asian food head over the road to the Mercure and charge dinner back to your room.

Great service backed up by friendly staff. Location so handy for stopover during short transit or even longer. Would recommend

My colleague and I stayed here - late arrival. My room had a serious air-conditioner leak. I got moved to another room that smelled of mould and damp. I was too tired at this point to move again. My colleagues Aircon didn't work in their room either. They got moved to another room with a barely function Aircon, they were also to tired to move again. I'd personally stay at the Mercure across the road. I've never had a problem there.

Doesnt get much handier than this for an overnight stay when transitting through Darwin. Nice, clean and comfy rooms. Food a short stroll away at the Mercure with resort style pool.

Friendly quiet hotel within walking distance to the airport. Lovely pool too. Eat at the Chinese restaurant there, especially the local barramumdi which is delicious!

7 minutes walk from the arrival terminal, at 0100 in the morning the air conditioning was a welcome relief. The lovely Johanna was friendly and excellent at making me feel welcome while quickly and efficiently getting me checked in and up to my room. You can go next door to the Mercure and charge meals from the restaurant back to your room. They room was clean, quiet and air conditioned, just what I needed at that time of the day.

It was a very basic and noisy room with dripping water all night. No teaspoons in the room for a cuppa, and the shuttle bus was missing in action when two calls were made for a shuttle trip. Thankyou to uber for stepping in.

The beds were really comfy and convenient if your stopping over. The Chinese restaurant is really good as well as the restaurant across the road. The facilities are as expected but it's more ideal for those stopping over. I was there at work expense so not sure of the value. However I did really enjoy my stay.

Shuttle was waiting at the airport exit, check-in was easy and informative. Rooms are spacious and light, with plenty of space to sort bags and spread out a bit. My room was quite dated, but very well cleaned and maintained

Short walk from terminals or can call for shuttle bus. Pool is nice but not heated which I accept is normal tropics. Novotel has a Chinese restaurant and Mecure across the road has more Western food choices.

Had a problem with the booking at 1.30am. Took an hour to sort out. Always make sure if someone else books your room that you have the reference on hand. But no problems once that was sorted. The breakfast was great.
