Novotel Darwin Airport

The renovations have really lifted this place and I can't wait to see when it's fully finished

We enjoyed our stay and we love the new pool the only concern is the parking space but overall we love it

Decent place to stay the facilities are great. Good luck trying to call reception to make alterations to your booking before hand. Just rings out or they cancel the call

Very close to the airport (walking distance). Had lunch by the pool, wonderful. Evening is pleasant and good to stroll along the property. A lot of renovations and upgradation work in progress and the making of a bigger pool.

Disappointed with service at reception. Lost my booking twice. Not good for business travellers

Paid $420 for 1 night & convenience to airport. Overpriced. Rooms clean but very dated. The hallways echoe every sound especially when people slam doors, belt on doors yelling to be let in & run up the hall. Arrived after an o/seas flight & got no sleep. Next time, taxi into city, hopefully a lot quieter.

I’m used to arriving late for grim nights in business hotels. But something about this one in particular—being in the middle of a construction site, the stark fluorescent light, lack of late night meal service, midges in my room, a ceiling fan spinning nearly off its brace—immediately qualifies it as more dire than the rest.

The bed’s comfortable. But that aside I couldn’t recommend it here at the Darwin Airport Novotel. Praying the breakfast tomorrow morning offers some salvation.

Stayed in this hotel as Santos crew on the 12 of July 2023 - they asked me for a card to give just for security and they charged me 4.04 bucks out of nothing. I checked out and they said all paid by Santos company so what is the 4.04 for? That for me is robbery!

Very convenient location only a 5 minute walk to the airport terminal. Rooms are clean but some are dated. Currently there is a site wide revamp happening.

Less than a kilometre from Darwin Airport entrance. The good thing is the room is well maintained and clean. But nothing mentioned about construction, when you booked the hotel. It's very noisy during the day.

Stayed here for one night waiting for a flight to Perth the next day as it is only a seven minute walk to the airport. The staff on reception were friendly and allowed me to store my bag until my room was ready, in this case three hours.

The room I stayed in was large with two double bed, even though I was a solo traveler. Which I may add was very comfortable. As you would expect came with air-conditioning and ceiling fan.

The bathroom was also big and impressive and as you would expect from a four star hotel very clean, same went for the room.

When it comes to dining this being an Accor hotel you have the choice of dining in the Hotel or in its sister hotel right behind the hotel.

Had dinner in the Novotel in its Cossies Bar & Bistro a large well laid out room with large glass doors leaning to the bar, outside seating and the pool. The meal was of a high standard and very tasty. As for price it wasn't to expensive bearing in mind the location.

Breakfast was partaken in the Mercure hotel. From the moment you walk in your wowed by how much better the hotel is than the Novotel with its tropical look. In this hotel the breakfast is buffet style compared to the ala- cart menu in the Novotel

On the booking it tells you there is building works all around the Novotel hotel as they turn the area into one big resort. From what I can see and imagine this will be a wonderful place to stay when finished latter in 2023.

If I come back this way I will definitely stay here again, but probably in the Mercure.

Stayed here on a layover in Darwin. Do yourself a favour and book the Mercure next door. The Novotel at Darwin Airport felt very sterile and dated. Went to the Mercure for breakfast and it was much nicer and when I was booking it was showing up same price as the Novotel.

Really appreciate being put up for the night as flight was cancelled only the room was quite small but everything else was good.

Rooms are dirty and feels like your in the 60’s. Raining and must eat food at another venue. No cable. Aircon barely works and dirty. Never coming back.

They refused that i have paid booking from jetstar. So I have to pay again. Worst receptionist n customer service. Dont pay them in advance! They even charged me twice when they said they r going to refund me as below. For one room i have paid three times.unbelievable!

It's at the airport. 15 mins to city. Great for airport proximity but there's thousands of better options for longer stays in Darwin closer to city and sites.

The hotel is a construction site which was not mentioned when booking. No freezer in fridge. Shocking value for The cost. No informational about anything about the hotel or facilities in the room. The only good thing is the room is clean.
Will not be able to recommend Novotel to anyone.

A very nice hotel, the rooms are great, the staff are friendly. We did get evacuated because of a suspicious package. But other then that, I would hotel again.

Had dinner at the pool side restaurant. Lovely meal, great staff, pool area very ordinary for the brand of hotel. Hopefully the renovations help boost this hotel.
