Mantra on the Esplanade

Always have been pleased with their service.
Ideally located with sweeping views from many of their rooms.
Well priced, good value, always friendly and helpful.

Staff couldn't be more helpful. First time in Australia. Rooms are very large with super king bed, L-shaped sofa, TV & free WiFi. What did surprise me was a fully fitted gallery type kitchen and in the bathroom closet was a top loading washing machine (regular wash took 25mins) and a tumble drier! Which worked like magic. Having stayed in Singapore first was able to wash all our clothes! Ironing board provided as well. Aircon was set and not to noisey. Brilliant stay and we are coming back in 5 days for another night before flying to Perth. Was able to leave bags here & cash in their safe for a small charge. 5 stars from me.

This was our second stay at Mantra on the Esplanade and once again it was great! Lovely harbour views, fantastic staff and a top room. We'll be back! Cheers!

Great location on the Esplanade with rear access to Mitchell Street. Apartment style rooms and hotel style rooms also. There are city view and ocean view rooms. Ocean view rooms on the upper floors are the best

Broke a light fitting and they didn't charge. Great view and good breakfast. Pool was also very nice.

It was a very nice location.great view of the harbour. Staff were very helpful. Didn't eat or drink there as we had other appointments so no guidance on that part

Amazing and friendly staff.and great atmosphere. They make you feel so comfortable. Beautiful rooms with everything you need from a kitchen dishwasher. Washing machine dryer and great airconditions

Brilliant place to stay staff are brilliant really friendly and helpful and so close to the centre and the shore would recommend it to anyone

Rooms were brilliant and the reception staff were very helpful. Even the security guard was friendly

Staff were ok, avoid Mitchell St side if you want sleep very loud, good location for food and attractions

I stayed here for a month whilst looking for a rental when I moved to Darwin. We were facing the water which was great as the dry season sunsets were fantastic to watch from the balcony. If you can, request this side as the other side faces Mitchell Street and overlooks a backpackers which can get quite loud all nights of the week.

Staff were polite and helpful with our request as we were long stay guests.

I've stayed here twice now. Highly recommend it. We met people from all over the world. Don't forget to have a massage.

The breakfast was so good (buffet) and only $15/pax.

From the hotel, you can walk to the beach.

Charged $10 for 2xsmall choc bars from mini bar when checking out. Next time take my own mixed bag for $5. Also asked to pay $15 for parking underneath even though am a paid guest.not happy, won't be back. Advising all others to stay elsewhere

The quiet atmosphere and delicious food was a really pleasant surprise for us. Would reccomend to a friend. The Servers were also very polite and professional.

Our air con didn't really work and a visual inspection from the outside showed the filter caked with dust

Absolutely loved staying here, the chef cooked up a barra we caught superbly delicious just perfect. Clean place friendly staff spacious rooms

Great central location, also close to the sea. Nice clean, spacious rooms. Friendly staff. My only complaint (and this is common in Australia) is the lack of free Wi-Fi.
