Manbulloo Homestead reviews
66Beautiful sites under the trees, great reception staff. Very well priced and only 10 minutes from town.
Great spot for overnight stays and facilities are good as well
Attitude towards campers from the manager was a bit rude when asked a simple question after the ablution block was shut due to blockages
Down to earth hosts, hospitality second to none, lovely grassed shady camp sites, great ablutions, fun animal feeding twice a day for the kids (& big kids), fishing down at the river, close to town.what more could you want.and all at a very very reasonable price. We felt very privileged to stay at this special place. Thank you Brian & family, you guys were the best!
Incredibly crowded camp ground packed in like sardines. Facilities were really nasty. There are shady spots but very dusty. Couldn't wait to leave. When i say crowded their were vans parked all along the road it was crazy.
It's packed. We got told to park under some trees which seem to have 24 by 7 irrigation running. The bloke Next to us just took the sprinkler head off their one so the waters just been flowing all night.
I believe there are other ablutions but the unisex ones are a bit below average. The showers are tiny. And busy.
It's an ok place to stay but average at best. Hence 3 stars. Not up to 4 or 5 stars.
Excellent park, great hospitality, easy going hosts, good size sites, free entertainment and animal feeding tours, lots of shade and homegrown tomatoes. What more could you ask for!
Nice place and nice reception ladies! But a lots of dogs bark and ‘grey Norman ‘ speak loudly all day and night
Lovely park, most of the sites are shaded and have grass, some sites are small but the majority are reasonable, they are doing their best to help people with a place to stay in this time of border closures
We enjoyed three nights here; highly recommended. They declare on their website that no camping site bookings are taken. After checking in, expect to search for your powered or unpowered site. There are lots to choose from.
Access to the thermal pool is an easy walk. It is a popular spot, so can get a bit crowded. We had three swims at different times and found meal times to be quieter.
Restaurant meals were good and reasonably priced, as were bar drinks. We went back for another round of barramundi that was cooked perfectly.
Entertainment made the evening meal very pleasant. The Repeat Offenders perform their selection of Blues, Rock & Country music. Nathan 'Whippy' Griggs puts on a first class whip cracking show so stick around after dinner and give him your support!
Another great spot to stop.
10kms out of Katherine.
Pet friendly.
Staff were friendly.
Amenities were good, cleaned daily.
Camp kitchen was good.
Close to the river.
You can help with feeding the Water Buffaloes and Cows in the morning as well as feeding horses in the evening.
Nice peaceful caravan park with great sized blocks. The amenities are clean but old and small. Overall good experience.
Great place, very friendly and welcoming. Providing many wonderfully shaded areas to park your Motorhome, Caravan or camp. Plentiful showers, toilets and rubbish bins, even an recycling receptacle for cans, bottles and plastic bottles.
Camp kitchens and washing machines with ample washing lines for drying.
Beautiful river walks and fishing. Nice quiet getaway.
Beautiful shady trees (south African Mahogany)
Toilet blocks a little tired. Free Dog wash.
Good grassy areas for relaxing. Good view of sunsets and only short walk to river. Rapids down a bit further too if your keen.
Easy place too stay out of the ruckas of Katherine.do yourself a favour and take a stroll along the river out back.
Great place to stay and relax for a few days good rates for a farm stay highly recommended it to anyone
Wonderful relaxing environment ideal for family and children they will be well catered for. Loved the place
Went to stay for one night, as soon as we set up it felt like heaven, so we decided to stay for 3 more nights
Absolutely loved it, staff were very friendly and easy to get along with.
Would recommend this place and would definitely stay again if coming back this way
Nice and quite with plenty of shade. A good place to kick back and relax. There is a nice walk along the river but no swimming.
Pet friendly, large grassed sites for caravans, plenty of farm type activities for kids. Friendly hosts. Close to town without being in town (only12km out) and quiet at night
