Manbulloo Homestead reviews
66Great place to stop over outside of Katherine. 9km to town and pretty sitting available if needed.
Manbulloo has been one of our bucket list places for our previous trips but has always been full. This time we got in and loved the place. It is far enough out of Katherine to not hear the noise yet close enough for a quick trip for shopping tours etc. Fuel was relatively cheap for the location and the staff could organise tours with local tour operators readily.
The facilities are old fashioned but renovations have certainly spruced them up somewhat. With all the guests they have had the grass areas are really struggling but the grounds are well maintained.
Great quiet spot just out of Katherine. We walked to the river for a look, and if you have kids, they get to help feed the horses. Nice shady trees
We stayed here for 1 night and enjoyed it a lot. Our campsite was really quite and super shady and with a nice view to watch the grazing cattle.
We were close to the bathrooms and bbq place, both clean and tidy.
In the morning we had the possibility to join the cattle and water buffalo feeding with the owner, which was a great experience!
All in all we had a really nice stay at the farm, Thank you! Sofie from Germany
Frozen fresh local mangoes, quiet out of town camping and rooms, great hosts. Why stay in Katherine when 10 k down the Victoria River road is a quiet shady super well resourced place to fest up!
Grassed shady sites. Booked for 1nt, stayed for 2nts. Feeding of the horses and feeding of the cattle, buffalo on the back of the tractor. Very informative tour.
This was a great place to stay but the guy they have playing music every single night completely ruins the experience. I have never heard anything so bad in my entire life. He's basically busking and asking for donations. I really wanted to offer him $50 just to shut up.
Nice tidy campground, kettle and microwave in camp kitchen. Bathrooms are en-suites. Got taken on a tour the morning or check out to feed the cows and water buffalo free of charge.
Nice Caravan Park. Pick your own Mangoes from the many trees, horses you can feed and very shady. Owners very friendly.
Absolutely great stay!
Definitely stay here if you’re in the area
Such lovely staff and lovely campgrounds, we had a fantastic animal experience both on the afternoon we arrived aswell as the next morning! Even as adults we thought it was amazing!
The amenities were donga styled bathrooms and were great!
Unfortunately we were only able to stay the 1 night but will definitely stay for longer next time!
Nice relaxing place to stay. Unfortunately the temperature was hitting high 30's so we moved on in search of a pool. Would have no hesitation in staying again
Great camp site. One of the shadiest & coolest camp grounds in NT. Only $25/night for a powered site. Only 5/6 minutes out of Katherine.
If you like to listen to non stop barking dogs and little flowers pelting down on your Van like your in a rain storm.
Then this is a good place to stay.
O' and very dusty with no driving speed limit.
Not recommended!
Great place nice people, shaded, relaxing, 10 mins from the springs, not far from town, the river is out the back off the place, good amenities, great price
My favourite place so far on the road! Affordable, grassy, spacious, beautiful river walk plus so many farm animals to interact with
Lovely shaded place. The amenities are plentiful and clean, and all staff are friendly and helpful. Our third time here. Still undecided when to move on. It's just too peaceful and relaxing here.
Absolutely fantastic location, great well designed shadey park, good clean amenities, very friendly vibe.
Clean tidy beautiful bush stay. Not far from Katherine. Friendly. And loads to do around the park. Feeding, horses cattle etc great for kids.
It's got a wonderful charm about it. Shady and green, it's a little oasis with good access to the beautiful Katherine River.
Will always retain memories of our three nights here. Very peaceful and the hosts were very accommodating - they rigged us up a powered site even though they didn't have any left. The best part was going out in the morning to feed the buffaloes and cattle - don't miss this if you stay here, it's not just for the kids! The retired cattle dogs also love some attention. Basic but clean and well-priced. Hosts are in the process of adding more powered sites and amenities.
