Great caravan park and a great price, so much less expensive than the otheres. Good amenities. Washing machines $4. Walk to river for a stroll, cattle feeding in the morning, kids love it. Shady spots. Short drive to springs

We had a great site will fabulous grass and big shady trees. The toilets needed some attention but by the time we left, they were a lot cleaner. Good laundry and camp kitchen facilities. We enjoy the campsite that much that we have booked for our return trip south.

We stayed at Manbulloo mainly for the price which for us was $36 pn power and water in our caravan, which the owner informed me that the price hasn't increased for 5 years. You don't hear that every day.
The caravan park has lots of big Shady trees but with that you do get lots of leaves and bird pooh. They try to do their best with keeping grass under foot by watering their grounds.
They can cater for a large amount of powered and unpowered sites. The amenities block isn't the greatest but there was hot water and clean toilets.
There is a lovely small river behind the caravan park which you can go for a walk or a fish but no swimming. I found some very interesting rocks in the dry part of the river bed. The owners are very welcoming.
They have just opened up their new reception area.
They also take the kids and any adults for a ride on the back of the Ute when it's time to feed the water buffalo, horses etc.
We have stayed here twice and I would recommend and stay again when in Katherine.

Rang and made a booking.
The young lady on the other end of the phone was so helpful it was a pleasure dealing with her.
Now can’t wait to visit at Easter to experience the country hospitality.

I booked a cabin 6mths ago and confirmed booked a couple of weeks ago. When we arrived we were told that we were on a powered camp sites. I showed her my confirmation emails, but we still didn't get our cabin because they had given it to someone else. Given an alternative cabin for 2 nights and had to move to a motel room (same place) for the last night. Both the cabin and motel room were not cleaned properly. My son's bed had a cockroach in it, the hand wash had been topped up with water and ineffective. The crockery had not been washed properly. The motel room had mud on the quilt, the a/c wouldn't work as the batteries in the remote had corroded beyond recognition, and the bathroom was outside so my kids couldn't go to the loo during the night. The only hood thing about this place was feeding the cattle. Absolutely appalling. Would never recommend to anyone.

Beautiful caravan park. Lots of green grass and shaded sites. Ablution blocks are clean and tidy. Camp kitchens x 2 as far as I have found. Washing machine $4, vending machine in laundry area. All staff are courteous and friendly. 5+

Very poor and rude service from the female owner/manger. A room with no pillowcases and a very dirty bathroom with tampon wrappers on the floor and just plain filthy.

We were told "cleaned the bathrooms this morning but who knows what they're like now".

We were welcomed with a very unfriendly attitude, racist comments about other campers and also disgust that my female friend and I were sharing a bed.

Would not recommend.

An Oasis in the desert. Just south of Katherine, horse feeding 6pm daily and buffalo feeding 8.30am daily. Great walk along the Katherine River from here. Animal friendly.

Hi yes is a nice park but to have to be on a powered site and not to be able to put a mat down was terrible. Forever taking dirt into van. We spent a week there and won't be back because of this. You can put down a camper with a floor in it but can't put down a small mat. Sorry got the thumbs down from us

Private paradise only 11kms from the township of Katherine, heading towards Western Australia.
Brownyn was friendly, polite and helpful.

This is an extremely shady park with good facilities and amenities. Also pet friendly.
A variety of accommodation options are available, self contained cabins, powered sites and rooms, to the best spot I had, a large unpowered site at the rear that was fully shaded and a short walk to toilet, shower and communal kitchen.

You can walk down to the Katherine River and sit and relax. They feed animals in the morning and evening and invite you along.

The communal kitchen has a BBQ, gas element, kettle, microwave and fridge with a large table and seating. There is also a fire pit area.

I really appreciated the two 'ensuite' bathrooms. The convenience of a toilet and shower was worth waiting for if already taken.

This is a hidden gem and I highly recommend you visit on your travels!
