The pictures advertised online were not the room we thought we were booked into.

Backpacker room was full of cobwebs, bed rolled around the room on wheels, air conditioning was noisy.

We had high expectations for this ‘resort’ during our time travelling across the red centre. We stayed in a Deluxe Spa room and we were bitterly disappointed. We arrived at 15.45 to find our room was not ready (check in was from 15.00 and we had driven for 5 hours to get there).
When we eventually got into the room at 16.15, it was dirty. There were dead insects and hair all over the shower floor, an army of ants were feeding on dead flies around the spa bath and there were nail clippings on the room floor.
It was also unbearably hot in the room, as the air conditioning had not been on prior to our arrival and it had reached 45 deg during the day. The air con was poor and didn’t really cool the room at all.
The wi-fi ‘available in all areas’ as claim is a lie. You have to pay for a terrible roaming service that works intermittently at the bar but no where else.
The bar is ok but very basic and backpacker-esque. We didn’t eat in the restaurant but have read a lot of poor reviews about flies in the food etc.
All-in-all it was a very disappointing stay, especially seeing how expensive it was.
I wouldn’t recommend staying here to other people.
We raised all these issues with the General Manager at check-out and got a full refund however!

The best thing about this accommodation was that the AIR CONDITIONING WORKED which was a big plus in the Australian hot summer weather. It also had good fridges which kept our drinks cold during the night or when we were not using them. Unfortunately the room was relatively dirty with spiders, spider webs, spider eggs and and ants around the room though this was not a major problem, the bathrooms were with a large variety of insects infecting the bathrooms. Would recommend if you don't mind bugs.

$6.50 for a bottle of water. Very basic cabin, one room with 5 beds, small (but good) fridge, 2 power points. Dirty, sandy floor. Pretty great pool and pool area, lots of shade and massive pool. Heaps of toilet blocks, when ours was being cleaned it was only another 50m to the next block. Lots of bugs+ in toilet blocks but obviously this is unavoidable in central Australia. Had to pay $10 and +40deposit to borrow a box of truly, ridiculously bad kitchen equipment to cook our dinner. Highly recommend not using the kitchen equipment (bring your own, including pan, or eat at the expensive restaurant). Lovely little viewing area to watch sunset on kings Canyon except for the overflowing bin with alcohol bottles. Must have been several weeks since they emptied the bin. Unfortunately this is the only accommodation in reasonable distance to Kings Canyon so there is no competition and they can charge what they want while delivering the very bare minimum.

This place was one of the most expensive nights of accommodation we had in Australia and one of the worst. We arrived to find our room stank of drains and half the light bulbs were out. We decided to go for a swim. No towels by the pool, water so murky you couldn't see your limbs move and mud at the bottom of the pool. The buffet dining room (where we also got breakfast) was absolutely riddled with flies- unsurprising as the doors were left wide open and there were no screens. There were flies crawling over the food items (counted 20 on a stack of bread rolls) and unsurprisingly I ended up sick- so not only was this a terrible hotel stay but the effects dragged on as I spent half of the time at Uluru dashing to find a toilet.

Seriously, avoid this place. It is sad because the hotel could be nice but the management clearly don't care.

No Telstra 4G as expected but also no internet despite what the brochure says (no point trying to connect to their payable roaming it's just useless). We had weird water pipes noise every few min day and night in one room and the other room had sewage smell coming from bathroom floor drain pipe. Else it's a nice resort, nice rooms and staff was friendly.

The place was so money oriented, the staff not as customer service oriented as you would want and the meals way over priced for what was on offer.
I understand that this is an outback situation, but this was supposed to be a resort, and yet it was not to any resort standard, I have ever been to.

Expensive for what it is. Kitchen amenities were not clean, however, they were cleaned once we brought it to the attention of one of the staff. Very few level sites.

Over priced, not looked after, dirty, a lot facilities not working and since when is a 13 year old an adult? Everything is way over priced, they are rip off scum bags, would just drive in and do the walk and drive out if I had my time over, cause when it comes down to it there is nothing else there. Pick up your game. I'll be reporting you to the travel agency's and will be contacting the ACCC.

Really enjoyed our stay, gives the feeling of a Bush Camp which we liked. Room was more than adequate, nice balcony to relax on, excellent restaurant, very pleasant & helpful staff in reception. Don't miss viewing the evening sunset from the viewing area or the Rim Walk if your up to it. Overall Brilliant time

This is not a 'resort' its barely a low carvan park! We stayed here over the w.end & whilst we camped so can't make comment on the rooms but from check in to check out the stay was below average.
Staff that appeared to jot have a clue what is going on around the place when asked for advice etc No ice available from about 3pm on a w.end in tourist season is really poor, we were able to get some from the bar next door but they would only sell one bag.
Amenities blocks were filthy the whole weekend & in dire need of some TLC looks like they've been neglected for sometime!
Location is the only thing this place has going for it, beautiful spot for a sunset view & 10nin drive to Kings Canyon.
If you are staying here come prepared with e everything you'll need so you won't have to rely on getting anything there! The photo pretty much sums up the staff, if you can't spell lettuce correctly well what hope is there of being able to run a facility properly

Stayed at the caravan park, amenities were great, views great. Staff were ok, seemed like they'd had a busy day, needed a break from people.

Great location and majestic views from the campground. Enjoyed sunset here for afternoons in a row. Great memories. If you visit make sure you do the walk around the top of the canyon. Best landscape views in the area. Way better than yulara.

Reasonably priced campground. There were 5 toilet blocks however there was no coordination of unpowered camp sites. It was difficult to find a space after having paid for it. Insufficient hot water services resulting in no hot water. An ATM would be good at the service station especially since there is no mobile coverage. $36 for a 6 pack of takeaway beer at the resort bar. The amenaties were far from clean and the water pressure was useless. Male staff cleaning the female amenities at night. All in all the resort is a cash grab and the management needs to review the pay structures for under performing staff. I recommend looking into Kings Canyon Station before booking in here.

Stayed here in a powered caravan site. I was surprised at how much shade we got, and although there is no grass, many sites are at least gravel instead of red dirt. The sites are reasonably spacious, although I saw the newer sites under construction looked more cramped and shadeless. Ablutions were ok.
TIP: The en-suite sites get spectacular evening views across to the range.

This is Australia's hidden secret - it's just right, not as commercial, but high end - choose a spar room to impress the partner - they are just right -

Incredibly poor customer service, showers cold and poor water pressure, washing machines not working and very expensive! Disappointing experience particularly for the price!

For 50dollars per night for a powered site.i expected better. Gas barbeques. Out of order. Street lights not working. No indoor games tv area. Site numbers not marked. Sign in at the resort office then find your own way to your site. Nice pub and food hall. 80 dollars for 2 meals and 2 drinks. At the kings canyon area the lower canyon walk blocked off 100m from the end been like it for months.a bit poor.
