Katherine Motel

We traveled around Australia for more then a week now staying in a new motel each night and this is the best motel we stayed in.
It's the cheapest we got so far and it has a pool <3 (What the others didn't have).
It's also very secure with gate closing at night to secure your cars.
It was very clean and none of the other motels had a cute and kind Queenslander checking us in.

No cooking facilities in rooms, no ironing board, no bowls or cutlery. Some rooms smell mouldy.

Owner/managers were very friendly & helpful. Nice clean room. Good Wi-Fi. Great comfortable bed. Very close to everything. Motel is being updated slowly. I would stay here again.

Great location and very friendly staff. Rooms/decor were a little dated but the owners (recently new owners) are planning updates shortly. Saying this the rooms were clean and the linens fresh and pleasant to stay at. Shower also had good water pressure.

Just delightful new owners, very friendly and welcoming. Located just off main street, rooms lovely, well priced and there is a fabulous pool area.
Highly recommend.

Very comfortable a little out dated but new owners are going to renovate. Has laundry facilities and walking distance to shops its right in town

Best thing about this hotel is the secure carpark. Locks down at night reopens in the morning. Oh and the bed was comfortable. No thrills hotel and the restaurant Loong Fong is the same as Darwin.

Really good for the price! It was very affordable and close to a shopping centre with outdoor cooking facilities a ensuite shower and toilet! Very happy

Quiet, clean room. Well sized with a comfy bed. Bathroom has a good shower and bath tub. Good quiet AC. Relaxed staff. Middle of town. Nice!

Basic Motel clean but dated There are a few long term stayers here. Rooms could do with a bit of maintenance. (our door lock was faulty)

Motel was fine, clean and comfy. Unfortunately the party next door went till 4.i needed that sleep.

It's not too bad. There's a washing machine but you have to pay for it. I want use but I don't know how much it costs. There's a bathtub in the room. It's a lot easier for me to parking car in front of the room. There's a gate and a video record that makes me feel safe. There is free wifi. But there is has limit to use and slow, There is no microwave in the room, but in the public area have. I think in this town here it’s fine.

Friendly People, great service, staff, and nothing is any trouble for them to make your stay more comfortable

I didn't have hot water in my shower.and there isn't any microwave or dishes in the unit.
Close to the shopping center

Nothing special, but not bad if you just need a clean bed and a shower for the night. The food in the attached RJ's bar and restaurant is amazing!

If you want to stay overnight then this is the place for you cheap & cheerful and clean smack bang in the middle of town
