Katherine Hot Springs reviews
51An awesome place to kick back and relax. Beautiful clean water, easy entrance & exit from the water, and just the right temperature!
Pleasantly warm place to swim. Go late in the day to avoid the crowds. Start at the top pool and swim down to the bottom.
A free place to go in Katherine for a swin that is croc free. They have a cafe and a nice grass area up the top if you want a relax.
A spot to be enjoyed. A number of pools and a stream that can be journeyed down a small waterfall at the last pool. Top pool need to use a bit of agility to get in and out. Can get busy with lots of kids.
Great little spot. Sometimes a bit too busy- best to pick your time. Make sure to swim round to where the water comes out!
Assumed that Katherine springs wouldn't be as good as mataranka and bitter springs and perhaps they aren't, but they're bloody nice and definitely exceeded my expectations.
Great way to start the day.
Lovely place to relax. Awesome little hole, where the water appears to come from, up the top. We only went to the top pool. Has a ladder to climb out and in so if you have any issues I would recommend the bottom pool as it has an accessible sign. A few catfish and other fish. Some people went down the flow of the hot spring to the other pool. Watch for spiders!
Definitely worth a visit, but lacking in signage and direction, both for parking and the location of the springs
Lovely waters! Crystal clear with tiny fishes. Water isn't hot but warm, beautiful relaxing spot. Small cafe near by for a meal/ drinks before or after a swim!
The Hot Springs are right in town. They are beautiful, a meandering stream you can float down or just sit in the water and relax.
Warmish waters. Ponds and streams are smallish, so when popular, expect it crowded. Want to have a quieter experience and no screaming kids? Get there before 8am or after 4.30pm as it will be much more enjoyable.
A fantastic spot. Highly recommend. Was lovely and warm and very clean when I visited. Have read some negative reviews on the place and only can conclude they visited at a bad / unlucky time or have an issue with paying tax.
The town council have WASTED taxpayers money on this hotsprings project that started over four years ago, that says a lot about council to begin with.
It was absolutely beautiful and free so it was great to bring the family down to enjoy where you could just relax leisurely. Would definitely go back
Absolutely beautiful. It was awesome to swim along the pool and chill out️ Crystal clear water and quite ambiance
Amazing place, very under rated as not many people know about it. It would be up there with a high light of the NT and the fact it's free and in the centre of town makes it even better. Little hike maybe 5mins from carpark but absolutely lovely. 5stars for sure
Really nice place. We went there on a Sunday so there was many people. There is a construction at the parking area, there are building stairways directly to the hot springs.
Beautiful place, although a bit stinky from the bats. It was lovely hangin in the pools watching the bats above. Free activity.
Has wheelchair access into the pool itself and it was being upgraded so should have better access when finished
