Katherine Holiday Park reviews
75 Very nice holiday park, amenities are clean, owners are nice. Lots of birds, lots of trees, very big swimming pool.
The biggest kitchen has aromatic herbs to cook and some equipments (gas burner, toaster and kettle, fridge and small freezer).
Best campground we've ever stayed at long term. I highly recommend this place! We were forced to stay in Katherine for 14 days after driving through QLD on our way from Sydney to Kununurra, due to Covid border closures, and we are very glad we found this place to set up camp for our long stay. First of all the staff are incredibly friendly and hospitable, and really treat you like appreciated guests. The campground is massive, with lot's of shade and grassy sites, with a plethora of birds buzzing around, the pool is massive and very clean, the kitchen, laundry and bathroom facilities are also very clean and well kept. Another bonus is that it's a little out of town, but not far enough to make it inconvenient. All in all this place has pretty much everything covered, 10/10.
Great place to stay. Lots of shady trees to camp under while watching the many birds going about their day. Even had three tawny frog mouths hanging out above my tent one evening. Nice pool to cool off in, bathroom was spacious and very clean. Camp kitchen with all the amenities you need. Loved it!
Beautiful green park, plenty of shade trees.
Very clean amenities. Staff very friendly staff. Pool is a dream.
Beautiful shady paradise park. Amenities spotless, there is a disability amenities. Great camp kitchen I can’t fault this park.
Friendly staff. Great place to stay in Katherine. Very clean cabins. Beautiful gardens. Great for a family visit or somewhere to relax. 5 minute drive from town and had the feel of being out in the country.
An amazing caravan park, one of the best I've been too. Great clean pool, cool views.
The toilets were amazing newest and cleanest toilets I've ever seen, they were even airconditioned, how good is that? !
Definitely want stay here again one day.
What a wonderful place to stay for any length of time it's the cleanest place i have visited yet comparied to all the other dirty sites I visited this place is A1 and 40 bucks a night is well wurth it you need to check this place out you be disappointed
The most CLEANEST camp site we have ever stayed on, showers and toilets are spotless, with fly screens on the doors. Plenty of toilets and showers too. Large, shady campsites, cafe in the right season and a huge pool! The gentleman who runs it is very kind and accomodating! And it is just outside of town but only a 7 minute drive from Katherine hot springs! Thank you for having us.
Beautiful, shady and spacious powered sites with an abundance of wildlife makes you feel like you are in the bush. Well kept pool and surrounds. Amenities spotless, a credit to the cleaners. We would highly recommend this park to all.
What else can I say, the owner was hand scrubbing the pool edges. This place takes service to next level. Accomodation was clean, grounds spotless, location proximal to all you need. Can't fault and we'll worth a night or 3
Facilities are clean and modern, even disability bathrooms. A well organized camp kitchen. The laundry facility can cope with multiple users and big washing loads, work with coins. Staff are helpful and friendly. Best campsite sofar in NT!
It was the most expensive piece of dust we had ever camped on. The facilities were spotless but there was no effort in trying to silence noisy campers late at night. For the massive camping fee we should have at least had a dust free site.
Beautiful little peaceful paradise in a very dirty hot town.
Lovely shady sites. Very quiet.
The cleanest and best kept amenities we have seen so far in 10,000klms. The managers are friendly and welcoming and make the experience all the more enjoyable.very helpful and informative. The wildlife is abundant in the park Birds, kangaroos, possums that came right to the door. We spent a week and will definately be back. I can highly recommend that you will enjoy your stay here. Thank you Darren and Tracey.
Great site with lots of trees and shade. The facilities are first class and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. One of the best caravan sites we’ve ever stayed in. Can’t wait to go back.
Have a good time to stay here. Quite place and friendly stuff. Don't forget to enjoy the big swim pool when u stay here.
Great caravan park, the owners know how to run a great caravan park and look after guests, the on site restaurant has excellent food and service, the pool is big clean and cool
Best CP so far travelling. Pool great. Large shady spots. Amenities clean. Well maintained park
Absolutely beautiful, clean amenities, spacious camping areas, swimming pool, Restuarant, friendly. Just loved it. Easy for people with disabilities at shower blocks. Clean outdoor kitchens, laundry clean. We pulled in late office closed, just grabbed a map broucher found a spot and set up camp till morning it was a relief as travelled over 700km. Taking my sister to Darwin on her bucket list trip. Jesse Munro South Yunderup WA. A big thankyou x
Positives, large site and quiet. Friendly staff, and you can wash your car on the grass area.
Negatives, peak season and $51.00 for powered site and $48.00 for unpowered is very expensive and there was no ABC or SBS reception in most of the park. Unfortunately the price got the low mark of 2 stars, that is why we only stayed for 1 night.
