62Loved the food thai beef salad was lovely and had the bangers and mash on a previous day which also was yummy.
What a Awesome Spot This is I Visited regularly when I lived in Darwin The Food was Awesome the People are Awesome and back then it was Kid Friendly Personally I can not wait to go back up
You won't get a better feed anywhere in darwin the prawn churizo linguine pasta is the star. Definitely worth going.
I was expecting so much more from this so-called famous pub. It was expensive, ans very ordinary
Called in as we were told how great the place was Maybe for the locals. Staff only just nice. Tired and run down pub. Locals have 0 personality as far as greeting others go. Definitely wasnt worth the fuel to get there. Only gave 2 stars as I really leave one for the worst. But this place is close
Great place to experience the aussie outback pub vibe. We went here for lunch and ordered three burgers ($16.90) and one chips with gravy ($11.50). Food came very quick but very greasy. I definitely recommend checking it out while traveling through Darwin!
Loved our experience here today! Food was served hot and serving size was excellent! Service was awesome, Jacinta was lovely and welcoming!
Iconic pub lived up to its name!
Loved this place. We stayed the night in one of the cabins which was very comfortable. The gardens are spectacular! Well done to the gardening team.
The pub itself was a great place with awesome staff and welcoming locals.
Highly recommend an overnight stay to take in the real atmosphere.
My first visit to an Outback Pub, wasn’t disappointed. It’s definitely a local for many, lots to look at, and the food was delicious. If ya passing, pop in for sure.
Beautiful thai beef salad
Buffalo bacon burger
Fast efficient friendly staff cold beer and wine well worth a stop
This is a great place to stop on the way to/from Kakadu for an easy meal and some rest.
+ Efficient service
+ Wait staff who served me was very friendly and cheerful
+ Fish burger and Trio of burgers was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the fries, which were cooked perfectly.
+ Clean bathrooms and overall, clean dining area
+ Relaxed and comfortable atmosphere
- Minor improvement is to put up a sign a few hundred metres on the highway heading towards Darwin (travelling from Kakadu) notifying drivers that the Hotel is near. We only realised we got to the Hotel after we drove past. Whilst it was easy to turn back around, this could be avoided with signage signalling to drivers they're approaching the Hotel.
Local attraction, been, seen and left
Did not spend to much time, had a quick drink and moved on
Good pub and ok food. Our parma and oysters were well (over) cooked. We sat outside, but unfortunately, the wind was wrong; we were downwind from the smokers. Wished we had ordered the steak, that looked magnificent.
Waited for 30 mins in line to order, then was told I'd have to go into a different line and wait to order. No signs to say this, was not going to wait 1 hour to order food so left.
It's great to visit this iconic pub and is a must do if you're in the area. I loved their steak sandwich and thought it was good value but I found a lot of meals a bit overpriced compared to other pubs and clubs in the Top End. They're the only pub/club that don't do 'specials' that we've come across so far. Their reason being that they're always busy.
Was my favourite pub up here 20 years ago. Now you have so many more to choose from. After 20 years everything seems the same
We were there because berry spring was close. So stop for a beer. We just had beers no food. But the hamburger look good. I saw a few people having them. The staff were very friendly. And welcoming you. I like a good cold beer. This place was good for that.
30+ yrs going there it has changed from the pub to be at. To being served raw sausages asked for well done burn it two bar clowns said in unison take it home and cook it no offer of refunds look at third barmaid n said I don't know why they aren't wearing this days later wanted me to pay for a drink I don't drink cause barclown can't read the bottles don't go there
Just like any other NT pub except home to the biggest buffalo horns I've ever seen. The bar staff are awesome and its usually full of characters that are somewhat friendly but need subtitles to understand. The band was decent and seemed to get better after more beer.
Friendly staff with open air bar and seating area, good for a quick drink and look at gift shop.
