Hilton Darwin reviews
61I had an excellent stay here, the room is spacious and comfortable and the service was very friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.
We are NT locals and can recommend to anyone to stay here if the budget allows it. Great sleep, good breakfast. My favourite is that they have a juicer on the buffet! Very central.
A wonderful Hotel in the heart of Darwin, near the Mall and Waterfront.
The breakfast is exceptional and the dining experience is very good.
Absolutely beautiful hotel and facilities. My partner and I stayed in the Premier Suite for my birthday and our 1 year engagement anniversary. The bathroom is so luxurious and the bathtub is to DIE FOR in this room, but the only TINY thing about the bathroom is the giant beautiful shower has no storage. It could do with some shelving and maybe an in shower seat as the water gets extremely hot (yay!) and you could basically have your own sauna. Not a complaint at all, just an area of consideration. Otherwise, so beautiful and so relaxing. The bed is gigantic and soft, and the pillows were great. The view from our 19th floor room? Phenomenal. The sunset was breathtaking. The staff were so friendly and so accommodating. They truly made our day relaxing and stress free. We ate at the restaurant for lunch upon arrival and breakfast, of course. Nothing but great reviews from us as far as their food goes! The general manager also greeted us and the rest of the guests during breakfast and I thought that was such a lovely gesture. Extremely personable staff, all around. I am so impressed. I've travelled quite a lot and stayed in many Hiltons and this has BY FAR left a very lasting impression. We will absolutely be back!
Exceptional service by Pujan and Bernie. Rooms were slightly old but location was very convenient. Security for lift access and main entrance may have to improve to keep guests safe.
We had a lovely and comfortable stay during our holiday. Dimitri was a pleasure to deal with each morning at the buffet breakfast and Carmensita was also bright and personable to bump into during room service.
Believe the Hilton is a worthwhile stay at anytime as the service and facilities were fantastic. The restaurant was the best as food was great as was the service in the restaurant. We would recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.
The room allocated was great, but very disappointed despise having paperwork to prove a receptionist did not believe I was entitled to free breakfast, only timely intervention by the manager I asked for, was able to resolve (I was right) from cancelling a stay at Hilton Cairns later this month and any future stays,
On the plus side a trainee receptionist was most helpful, thank you Matt. Also the cleaning staff were excellent.
Room left A LOT to be desired, paid extra for a harbour view, managed to get room with smallest window in all of hotel, aircon didn't work and other people's hair was all over the carpet still. Room was not cleaned properly before we arrived but staff were more than willing to listen to the issues.
After a temporary glitch, the card keys to our room failed to open, the concierge was very helpful. She apologized profusely and offered that had we not booked the king premiere suite, she would have upgraded us. Needless to say, she offered us free wine, dinner, and parking.
That said, there is room for improvement. The rooms are not as cosy as a normal Hilton. How I wish the bedsheets were cotton.
I check in last Dec to celebrate our anniversary. Booked for king bed but to our dissapointment our matress has bad spring spring feels so wear off. We sinking down when we lay down and the whole night we didnt have a good sleep keep us tossing and sore back. We quitely check out and gave our written feedback to one of front desk staff. The room comes with complimentary Breakfast buffet which is very good with much variety of choices including asian dishes.
Beautiful renovation of the bar and restaurant area. Great place to have a civilized and quiet drink and dinner. Highly recommended!
Well. 5 stars I wouldn’t say that. The pool is terrible.no sauna etc.rooms are noce with fine beds and linen etc but wouldn’t give it 5 stars. Also, parking is extra and only vallet with is a bit of a pain, you have to wait for tour car. Breakfast is buffet and with a good selection of all you can eat but it costs extra too. No views from the rooms. I think you Can get better value for money elsewhere.
We were very pleased with our time at the Hilton. You'll find everything you need for either a business trip or a jumping off point for traveling adventures. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The breakfast room, open from 6 to 10, offered many options (including great coffee of several kinds) and would surely provide something for everyone. And the restaurant/bar, although not big, was good. It had enough variety for four of us for three nights.
But best of all was the friendly, helpful staff. They were there for any need: booking a tour, loaning an adaptor, confirming flights and more. I would definitely return.
We had two stays, three nights before, and then one after, a cruise. We were on the Executive Club level. We would definitely stay there again. Very clean. Good beds. Executive Club cocktail hour offerings excellent.
Staff friendly and helpful and let us store items between stays. Maxi taxi bookings to airport were flawless.
Breakfast buffet was good. Email communication was helpful to get dinner arrangements on NYE and NY, the staff really went above and beyond to help us find options.
Convenient walk to waterfront and esplanade, but very hot in summer.
Only thing missing was guest laundry but Lya arranged for us to use a sister hotel facility, worked well.
Great location in the heart of the city.
Conveniently located near a shopping complex and there are plenty of bars and restaurants near by,
Great hotel with a great view. The people that work the are very friendly and you are within walking distance from all the shops.
Great amenities great location.at the CBD where you can walk and find shops, cafes, restaurants and Coles supermarket nearby. Breakfast is good (try the crocodile porridge) room service is exceptional
Very nice hotel. I can kind of see the water from my room. Elevator seems a little aged. Staff was very helpful and I received good service every time I needed it. Pool has shade over part of it. No hot tub but it had an area in the normal pool with a bench and jets. Food was okay. Main problem is bathroom. There were hairs stick to ceiling and if you don't feel super comfortable around roommate, the bathroom door doesn't lock and is partially see through.
Not recommended. This hotel may have an executive lounge but 35$/day for street parking makes this place.avoid. The receptionist told me it was my responsibility to read the sign. I replied that the reception staff at no point in time had informed me about the cost (for street parking), i also informed the staff that had i known i would have parked somewhere else. Worse 105$ wasted. My advice is stay at the DoubleTrees, at le at Carpark is free.
