Hidden Valley Holiday Park

A nice park, we had an ensuite site which was very clean and tidy, ensuite was a very good size, nice and airy, park was very clean and tidy, staff are very friendly and helpful

I paid $200 to be accommodated in an over flow storage area. I was instructed to drive in and out of my site via a table drain. When I returned the managers had accommodated other campers where I was instructed to drive to access my site. The other campers were not informed of this arrangement and were extremely rude and hostile. The site had discarded food scraps and used tea bags on the ground and I was connected to power and water by extension leads and rubber garden hoses that continually disconnected. The amenities are only 4 showers for more than 100 vans. No shade and the noise from the highway and aircraft terrible. When I raised my complaint I was moved but the inconvenience was unnecessary if the park showed genuine care. When I moved sites no one followed up with me. Other campers were rude deliberately placing tables and standing in front of my vehicle to prevent driving out as directed by park staff. I had to call and leave a message as the water hose kepted disconnecting from the extension of the rubber garden hose. I never heard from anyone to see if it was rectified. Further I was abused from other campers after following instruction from the park to drive in and out. This place is the worst I have ever experienced. Photos attached. No shade. Food scraps and garden hoses. No one connects a rubber garden hose to a caravan. Oh.and I booked months in advance.

We did book at Hidden Valley Caravan Park for 2 nights. We have 2 small dogs travelling with us and we disappointed that they charged for having dogs there. In all our travels we have never had to pay for the dogs. There response was we charge for children so it like having 2 children with us. We were also disappointed that the caravan park was very empty and our sites that we were given had not one bit of shade. There were so many vacate sites I am sure we could have had abit of a shaded area.

Nice little cabins with great king size beds, very frustrating that you get no hand towels or face washers, and very tight on 1 little bar of soap for a 2 room cabin, BUT rooms are Extremely comfortable

I injured my leg during our stay and the staff were amazing. Dani stayed with me till the ambulance arrived and then they were able to give me access to a disability unit which meant I was able to be discharged earlier from the hospital. We did not get to see everything that Darwin has to offer but we plan to return and will definitely stay at this beautiful, clean and shady Caravan Park.

A fantastic experience, we stayed in their Tropical Villa for 10 nights. It's a great place close to everything. The park hosts are excellent and went above expectations to make our stay enjoyable. Highly rated.

Two weeks ONLY, what's the difference between two weeks and two months

I have never written about any holiday park or hotel while I am staying, however this review is exceptional. Such a welcoming atmosphere and staff. We drove from Melbourne to Darwin and last day of our trip was icing on the cake because we choose to stay with them. Exceptional facilities, great service that’s what you need. I wish I could give them 6 stars.

Stayed in a Tropical Cabin, room was immaculately clean, well stocked and located within lush tropical gardens. The park is neat and tidy with excellent facilities. Would certainly recommend.

The staff here made.me feel very comfortable that I kept extending my stay. They gave me a small type apartment as they knew I was in Darwin to visit all my grandchildren. Just so comfy, clean, friendly and always happy to help due to covid I've not been able to visit this year but when I do my bookings will always be with this place I call a home away from home. This park is one of the best we have stayed in. Great staff. Great location. Great pool. Loved all the shade. We were only going to stay 2 weeks & ended up staying 4 weeks. Would definitely recommend this park to everyone. Would love to come back every year.

Family of 6 staying in a well sizes cabin. Good airconditioning. Well maintained pool. Conveniently accessible to all the errands we had planned. We'll be back for sure

Nice facilities throughout. BUT RHE SANDFLIES ARE EVERYWHERE IN THE PARK.we stayed in week 1 of September 2020. They bit some of my family over a hundred times. Be aware.

Green, uncrowded park, especially if u get the premium shady sites, of which there are quite a few. The reception staff are efficient and friendly, amenities clean, nice pool. Little bit noisy if there's motor racing on (it's relatively close to the motor sports precinct), and a bit of plane noise too. Near the airport, but then so is the other park nearish the city.

Nice room, good aircon.did ask for two single beds. Got two single beds pushed together and made up as a double. Bit weird but anyway, they have a fold out couch with all the lumps in the wrong places

They've got ensuite sites which is perfect for those who want their own toilets - this came in handy during corona virus.

Nice enough, the wifi did not work so well and it is in a phone coverage black spot so not so good if you need internet. For a holiday it is fine.

The best service you could get. Dani has been amazing to deal with and goes above and beyond. Also great location and value.

Idéal holiday location for families, small groups and individuals. Communal kitchen with fridges and shelving. Showers and laundromat, pool and other necessary stuff. Secure automated entry and exit.
