Hidden Valley Holiday Park reviews
63Very peaceful relaxing holiday park had a great time here close to airport and shops hope to visit again soon
Stayed at an ensuite powered site. Loved the lockable toilet and shower, awesome idea. The site was easy to back into, the park itself was nicely kept and set in a nice quiet location just back from the main highway. Staff were lovely. Only thing that came to mind during our stay is that a bin/skip bin at the rear of the park would be beneficial, not a big drama as we just took our rubbish out with us and dumped in the bins at the front whenever we drove out, but one a bit closer by would have been good.
Overall, we had a great time and will definitely stay again.
We stayed here In a big Group of 16.rooms were tidy on entry.bunk beds squeaky but ok to sleep on.ironing board was broken.and always had to clear possums and cute green frogs out of the showers.which for people fearing possums at 3am toilet run.not great.maybe close in shower/toilet area.fridge in cabins are small so bring esky for extra bulky items.apart from that staff at reception were friendly
And this place was a handy location for everything we needed to do around Darwin.
Big group of us stayed 3 nights across a number of cabins. The staff were amazing - greeting us with smiles and accomodating every request. Great facilities. Clean, tidy and the middle pub is up the road, serving awesome meals. Also cafe on site, serving coffee, bacon and egg rolls etc. Some cabins are next to a secondary arterial road, so some minor road noise.
Powered sites. They are jamed packed. Down the back there is no shade, and gravel roads. The price compared to the rest of inner Darwin is fair. Road noise isn't to bad but be prepared to be woken up from 4.00am onwards from the airport that goes straight over the top of it.
Stayed for two days. Great place with pool area nearby the city by car and most of all really kind and helpful people working at the holiday park.
I cannot even being to express how accommodating and incredible Mel and Dani were! We had originally book another accomodation which was awful and had to make a last minute change. They set us up without a hick and let us have an early check in. We stay for 2 weeks with them and wouldn’t have wanted to stay anywhere else.
The rooms were perfect and the aircon was an amazing break from the hot NT air, the pool was amazing too. On several occasions Dani helped to sort us out with things to do and was more than generous with what she gave us.
Couldn’t asked for a better place to spend 2 weeks. Hidden Valley made our stay in the NT 1000% better. Would definitely stay here every time and recommend it to anyone going and looking for a family fun, welcoming place to stay.
Massive thumbs up from me and an even bigger thank you the staff at Hidden Valley for making us feel so at home.
Very noisy and it's not just from the motor sports park as they try to to blame for all the noise
We have enjoyed a great week at the Hidden Valley Caravan Park. Awesome location for all our sightseeing. Kids loved the pool. All
The staff where super friendly and helpful. Toilets blocks clean and tidy. We stayed in the latest section, so no trees but can tell how beautiful it will be in the future. Only small inconvenience was the lack of working washing machines, you had to be up early to beat some of those old ducks! Look forward to checking out the park again in years to come!
A busy caravan park during this June to August peak period so you must book well in advance. Have a full range of sites, catering for a range of vehicle sizes, with many Ensuites. Have a number of cabins. Has a Cafe serving breakfast and dinner, providing a good feed. Location is quite handy to Darwin city and key surrounding places of interest, including shops.
So far so good.
Huge park. Different options to choose from. Helpful office staff.
Great restaurant facilities.
Ensuites are plentiful.
Book well in advance. It's peak season now.
Great place planes overhead were very noisy (RAAF war games) and possums provided entertainment at night
Fantastic place for a rest. The park is tranquil, have a dip in the pool. The cabins have everything you need. As for the staff there friendliness, warm outlook customer service is second to none.
Great park. Clean & tidy, clean amenities & pool. We had a fox terrier & parked out in the new section we thought it was great. Roomy sites. We had shade. Yes trees still growing but Rome wasn't built in a day. It's going to be super nice once trees grow.
Stayed 4 nights. No issues. Older facilities though clean, functional and well maintained. Great stay!
We had a great 5 weeks at the park, Mel was absolutely fantastic.
See you again next year.
Lovely place, the cafe is great! Only dropped a star because its pricy for an unpowered site and could do with a little tiny bit more organisation. But the people were nice and accomodating.
I planned to stay for 3 nights but ended staying for 3 weeks! Dani was super lovely and helpful; she went above and beyond.
The pool is shaded and a great place to unwind. Nice gardens and plenty of space for my motor home.
I highly recommend Hidden Valley Holiday Park!
Spent seven wonderfull days here, nice clean cabins, clean swimming pool, big screen for movies or football, in a great location not too far from the cbd and shopping at Casuarina. Staff are very helpful and polite. Have no problems recommending this place as I rate it a 5 out of 5. Hopefully to be back in the near future.
We stayed during a sudden lockdown in Darwin. The staff were understanding and helpful during this time. Rooms were spacious and clean upon arrival and all round a good experience! Would recommend!
