Accomodation was great. Staff were extra helpful and provided an upgrade walking distance to everything in the city. Recommended

I went for a dinner last night, I ordered the pan fried salmon with house salad.

I also ordered a gin and tonic, then Andrew suggested the local gin salty plum flavoured. Finally ended my meal with a chocolate pudding. It was divine!

It was a nice stay at H on Smith! Rooms were clean, and the pool and gym were great. Thank you to Eddie for helping me out with the booking at check-in.

Paid full high season rates, which I feel not really worth it as per service (which I think is typical now for NT) and overall. Room is decent, I don't mind windows facing another building. Good a/c and bed. Reception area is good.

So happy staying here. I am here for work (from down South) and each night, sitting downstairs with a glass of red and a fresh meal - really generous and delicious. Great meals, nothing too hard for the staff.

Asked for the pool to be cleaned on multiple occasions over a week which it was not, given lip service by the staff and excuses as to why it wasn't cleaned. Air conditioner in the room didn't work properly and room wasn't cleaned properly, rubbish left in the room daily. Have stayed there for the last 3 years will not be staying again, management pull your socks up very poor.

Excellent apartment style rooms but with full service hotel facilities. Staff were quick and friendly. Quite a good location towards the centre of Darwin but not in a noisy area. Pool looked nice. Clean and very comfortable

Have stayed here a few times but I've gotta say what I experienced during our last stay was the worst of any hotel I've ever been. Booked for one night and the room they gave us hadn't been cleaned so we went down to reception and changed rooms, the second room's aircon was leaking so bad that the carpet was soaked and we couldn't walk next to the bed, went down to reception and changed rooms AGAIN only to find that our room had two single beds instead of one double bed, down to reception AGAIN only for the same thing to happen, two single bed room instead of double bed. All while carrying our bags up and down the elevators 4 times. Changed 5 rooms and wasted a whole lot of time because of this incompetence. One staff working by herself obviously overwhelmed.
Safe to say we won't be back.

Hotel was fine, room was big but carpet was stained in a few areas and bathroom tiles inside the shower looked like they could do with a good clean. Bed was comfy however we could hear a waste pipe every so often, like running water, must have been close to our bedroom wall. Location was great for being very central.

Hotel is really good, clean and lovely staff.
Restaurant on the other hand has forgotten to cook meals, sides and make coffees that were ordered.
It's not fun watching everyone else eat while your asking the waitress why they forgot a meal.

Nice room with good amenities. Centrally located, making site seeing easy. Nice pool area with bar.

The rooms here are well designed and comfortable. The Hotel is let down by an insensitive front desk. None of our issues were of great moment individually, but collectively, they rather spoilt our stay. They have a quaint scheme of charging $6 extra for breakfast unless a prior 'booking' is made through the front desk - they don't tell you this; you just find out when you charge the cost back to the room. Dinner in their restaurant was a comedy - very short menu - we ordered 2 dishes; time passed and we were told neither were available. When we asked what was available we made a further choice and after an interval were told one wasn't available; the alternative then chosen was a further substitute at which point we suggested they might reprint the menu listing available choices. Thankfully, by the next night they had done so. When asked for directions to a nearby Budget car rental office they confidentially sent us on a 2km trek in the heat to where the place wasn't (it was only 200 metres up the road and had been there for 20 years). AND, then there was the drama of the key cards - we had 11 issued to us and 2 rooms and still there was a systemic problem which a little bit of candour might have meant less irritation to guests. AND then there was the car parking - oh this is just getting too long!

The air-conditioning was right above the bed and made a slight hum for our entire stay at the hotel which was slightly annoying. The curtains kept all of the light out which was nice.

Pool was nice and cool, shade could be more plentiful but whatever.
No balcony on any room in the hotel. The minifridge could be a bit cooler - the door barely keeps things cold but towards the back there is ice.

I'd stay here again if the aircon wasn't as noisy.

Great location - 5 minute walk to Woolworths and 10 minutes from the mall.

Great location and nice facilities such as the pool and restaurant - bar. Special mention to the duty manager Kane for his personalised service. Nothing was a bother for him! Thank you for all your help.

We had to be changed from another hotel as they had a covid case. The check-in was awesome and we were so happy we could store our luggage and still use the facilities the next day till we left for our flight. The location was perfect and staff amazing

A very pleasant Hotel, the rooms are spacious, the pool is great, breakfast is easy and convenient and also tasty. The service has been very good, friendly smiling staff.

Nice hotel but made/run cheaply. Pool is lovely and perfect temperature, but a bit loud next to the busy road.
Room smelt damp, needs more ventilation. Aircon also had a few issues, bubbling a lot.
Good little gym on top floor.
Lovely staff and a good location for walking to Darwin main attractions, all within ~20 mins walk.

Clean room, good supplies of amenities and friendly people. Highlight of my stay - stumbled on two large crocohes in the bathroom the middle of the night

We stayed 5 days in this hotel. The location is in the CBD and is very convenient. The receptionists were friendly. But the cleaner did not clean the room while we stayed there. We have asked the receptionists to ensure this room to be cleaned twice. Nobody showed up to clean it. We ended up to request the towels for a few days. The hotel should let the clients know if it was short of staff or other excurses. They promised to get it done however nothing happened. It should have kept us informed. We hope the hotel is able to improve this.
