G'day Mate Tourist Park reviews
56Awesome owners, very helpful and accommodating. They add a personal touch bu guiding you to the spot you’re renting.
Very clean, easy access, very helpful staff.
Laundry facilities, pool, clean and modern bathroom facilities.
The staff assist every customer to find their spot and will help you to get the van in and settled.
Thank you for the great service.
It is one of the better Caravan parks in Alice area, with no noise, and high fences.
Would have to be the best park we've stayed in. Escorted to your lovely grassed site by the owner. The amenities are spotless. Booked for 3 days and ended up staying 6. Lovely owners and no pets was a bonus. Barking dogs can get annoying.
This is a busy place with Good facilities.
Close to town and not far from a lot of things to see and do.
Very friendly staff. We came down to Alice from Darwin for a camping adventure, only to be met with 80mm of rain. The place we had booked for the camper was booked out for a cabin upgrade. We came across the road to the Gday park and the staff couldn’t be more helpful, especially seeing it was last minute. Kids are dry and warm and happy. Great customer service.
Owner-Operator and treated like their baby. Clean/ Shady/ Respectful guests/ Pool. Great stay for our family and good to see ouron shore.
Super friendly staff, clean amenities and lots of shade and space in campsites. Highly recommend! And don’t forget to the brewery next door ;)
One of the cleanest parks visited. Lovely friendly staff and well organized and secure. Recommended stay.
Stayed here for several nights while waiting for some friends to arrive. The pool is cold and the bathrooms are super clean. It was very quiet for the number of people camping here. It's walking distance to the brewery next door, great for an evening meal to escape doing the dishes.
G'day Mate TP was SUCH A TREAT to stay at! We tried a couple of Caravan Parks as my husband was hiking the Larapinta Trail, so I was going to be alone and wanted to feel safe and happy during my time in Alice Springs. Linda and Bill are hands-on managers who seem to THOROUGHLY ENJOY being kind and supportive to guest when and where needed. We settled for the cheapest option which was an unpowered site in the PALM GARDEN. I found a little shady spot and was VERY comfortable and safe while my husband was off hiking.
THANKS HEAPS Bill and Linda, you two are AWESOME! You REALLY made my stay in Alice a JOY! Xxooxx (Dee and Ian H, Noosa Qld)
Very quiet place to stay. Not next to a main road. Amenities are excellent. All staff are friendly. The number 1 caravan park in Alice Springs.
Brilliant park clean facilities great server from Bill and co. Very obliging couple thanks will see you next time
Stopped in for a shower on the way through Alice springs and this place is stunning. Truly a diamond in the rough. We will be back through in 6 weeks and was only going to stay a night but will stay for 3. Thank you very much for the warm welcome. We will see you again!
Unpowered site on dirt is 34 bucks a night
It is a quality park lots of permanent living there good facilities like bbq and sinks toilets and showers are good a fair way out of town you couldn't walk it but gate has security pin and it seems well run and maintained.nice tree covered areas for power sites it gives itself a 5 star rating but its not that good as it is so far from town and is expensive I'd you stay just a night
Although the big 4 caravan park across the road wanted 45 for unpowered site and it's just me and my troopy. 3 stars expensive and a long way from town. The telegraph station caravan park is only 30 bucks for a night with power and close to town it's a better deal and a good park.
Excellent park. Great hosts. Lots of shade. Green and just that little bit away from the bustle of town. Cool pool and good security.
So far so good here, tried to book in to big 4, lady was really rude. Kept telling me we wouldn't make it by the time they closed, by 8, and would nit open for us, of we were later. When we phoned gday mate, they said to let them know if we were going to be any later. They were amazing 6.45 we arrived, to a very friendly welcome at Gday mate.
