Erldunda Roadhouse

My husband and I had tea in the restaurant and it was DELICIOUS! The pumpkin and feta salad was the best Ive ever had. Hubby had the t-bone with mushroom sauce, potato mash and veges - he said the steak was FANTASTIC and it was a massive steak. Top value for money! The staff are warm, friendly and welcoming. We fed the emus too. Great place!

Erldunda Roadhouse is a good place to stop between Alice Springs and Uluru. There are gas pumps, clean rest rooms, a snack bar, and lots of emus.

I recommend this place.

After fueling the car, (require more, Larger signage for pumps) as cars, caravans parking any way to fuel, no system, s etc and paying for at counter, I purchased some take away witch was just warm, didn’t enjoy, require rubbish bins as could find any only where you fuel this explaining why rubbish was jammed in between the searing, on ground over near the emu exhibition.

About the only place to eat, take a toilet break & buy petrol for miles plus you can stay the night here. Outside seating only so the flies will join you! We had Caesar wraps which were huge we should have shared.

They have some Emu's at the back so it's an interesting place.

Stopped for fuel along the way to Uluru. Good prices. No fuel concerns. Has some shady places to park and avoid the heat. Hot box food was delicious. Staff were friendly and facilities were clean. The line for fuel was 30-60 minutes due to huge amounts of tourists, they were able to keep up with the demand well. Would stop here for fuel or food again next time.

A good pitstop for a break, food and petrol. Picked up some cool 3D souvineers. Located in the Centre of Australia or technically 60km from it. Has an emu farm where U can get up close to them.

The man working on the bar was fantastic - friendly, cheerful and helpful - he also happened to be the First Aider on site!

Convenience store, bar, hot food, petrol, toilets, emus visible from the carpark. Worth a stop!

I cannot recommend this place highly enough.
The meals were sensational, staff very friendly. And kangaroos and A rooster. We were able to pet the friendly camels.

We stayed here one nite, was great. Reception staff member was so lovely, she was very helpful. The meal at the pub, what can i say, the best damn meal we have had in months, seriously, mixed grill is huge and beautiful and all for $29.90

We didn't stay here but having missed lunch we just stopped in for some afternoon tea got two four'n'twenty sausage rolls I think they had been in there since last century, as dry as bone, hard as a rock and extremely unappetizing, we were starving having traveled all day and after taking one bite each we just threw them out and heated up soup from a can instead, I think they should really be careful not to sell food that is so old that it could potentially cause food poisoning I just think we are lucky we didn't spend the rest of our trip on the dunny.

This place is great. Staff are very efficient and helpful in all ways. My husband had a medical emergency last week and they were amazing. First class.

The food was nice. Would definitely visit again. Service suffers during peak time. One can try a small piece kangaroo fillet from mixed grill platter.

Very creeky floors, rooms are great and at a great price.
I went in for dinner at the restaurant, it was crowded so had a burger and went to bed.
Was awoken three times with creeky floors

Loved it Thay have animals great sunset views and you can stand in the center of Australia that's cool
