Emu Run Experience

I was very much looking forward to taking this tour of Kata Tjuta, Uluru and then a BBQ sunset dinner. Although I still enjoyed myself I was a little let down by the guides lack of enthusiasm. He forgot to introduce himself, had basic information only and was not particularly helpful. Time he moved on to something that would suit him better.

I joined an Emu Run all-day tour to the West MacDonnell Ranges last week. Our guide/driver was Emma, and she provided an informative commentary and was a careful driver. I thoroughly recommend this tour to a truly spectacular region. I also used the Emu Run shuttle to and from Alice Springs Airport - excellent value and right on schedule.

My trips to Palm Valley on the 4WD and the day trip to Uluru and Kata Tjuta were amazing! Big days but totally worth it, plus we could nap on the bus if needed. Food and water refills were amply available, and the guides really knew their stuff! I learned a lot about flora, fauna, and the Aboriginal history of the land we live on. I am so grateful!

I went on an Emu Run Experience Tour to the West McDonnell's Ranges last week. The tour guide was excellent with her stories of each different area we went to. Explaining the color of the rocks, the fauna and birds. Morning tea and lunch was provided and a very enjoyable day / experience. I would highly recommend this tour, not only for visitors to the region, but also for the locals

We have just returned from a full day of exploring the West Macdonnell Ranges with our guide Emma. She made the trip interesting with her wealth of knowledge about the area, and went above and beyond with her hospitality. If I were her employer she would definitely be deserving of a pay rise. I highly recommend this tour and if you're considering booking the tour make sure you ask for Emma as your guide. You won't regret it!

West McDonnell day trip is a must. On time, informative and breathtaking. I would highly recommend friends family on this service. Plenty of time at each stop, very relaxing. Family friendly.

West MacDonnell Ranges, tour guide Emma, delightful young lady who was informative and passionate.
In all, these young people added to the enhancement of our Alice Springs experience and all 3 are assets to the company, can’t rate Emu run tours highly enough, thanks guys!

We had a fabulous day! Staff were friendly, engaging and accomodating. Food was lovely and plentiful (incl.dietry requirements). Breaks for such a long journey were timed perfectly! Thank you so much for a wonderful time!

A fantastic way to travel from Alice Springs to Uluru. Brit was our driver, tour guide & chef. She was an amazing host with lots of knowledge of the region and stories about the creation. The bbq (cooked to perfection) at sunset - watching the Rock change colours was sensational. Would recommend Emu Run to everyone. All the staff particularly Brit were friendly and went above and beyond to make our day perfect. Thanks.

Excellent trip out to Western Macdonnell Ranges. Tour guide was excellent, very knowledgeable about all wildlife along the way. I learned a great deal. If you are in Alice Springs I thoroughly recommend the trip.

One of the best day trips we have done. Very well run, & Reece, the driver/tour guide, did a great job. Fabulous locations (Palm Valley & Hermannsburg), & a lovely lunch.

Perfect program, fantastic views and good tasty and big meals. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and careful staff.
Sunset with a BBQ, champagne, and view of Ayers Rock is a highlight and is an experience not ever to be forgotten.

Did Ayers Rock day trip from Alice springs. What an experience. Even though it was a long day all in all it’s worth the effort. Special thanks goes to Dave and the team. BBQ was a highlight and all meals provided was excellent. The knowledge, positive attitude and willingness to share it with passion is admirable. Thank you, Dave.

Time of pick up for tour was changed - no email conformation was sent. I have requested a refund which they refuse to pay. TERRIBLE COMPANY. Don't waste your money.

This was a joyful, informative experience led by Karen who kept us entertained & educated along the journey. Her love of birds & wild life in general kept us eager to spot the fauna & to learn the names of the local flora. We were fortunate to have her attention in a small group and experience the spectacular scenery the day before lockdown.

My family and I had the best time with Michael as our guide/driver/chef on our 1 day tour of Uluru + Kata Tjuta with BBQ at sunset. From start to finish, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves - Michael patiently answered all our questions while showing us around the sites, he was respectful, friendly and professional. We had the loveliest group of people at the BBQ sunset dinner; it was the perfect end to a wonderful day (great company, simple yet delicious food with Uluru as the backdrop and a beautiful sunset).

Went on a small West Macdonell ranges tour with Alicia in March 2021. Througly enjoyed my experience. Alicia looked after us and was very knowledgeable with the local history, geological formation and not to mention very attentive with her guests. I strongly recommend Emu Run should you wish to explore Alice Springs and its surroundings.
