Darwin FreeSpirit Resort

Stayed at park for 14 weeks. A bit shabby for a start but when new manager and 1 new ground staff came onto the scene what a noted difference. A long way to go but is really started to look good again. Well done Luke

Cabin was by far the worst (and most expensive) we stayed in on our 5 week trip. There were holes in the walls and the vinyl flooring. The bed was broken, there was no ensuite in this cabin. The room stunk when we entered due to the air-conditioning unit filthy. The door lock was loose and I had to fix it in able to lock the door. One of the reception staff was quite rude. Their prices were different for each day. The amenities were old and tired.

We hold multiple bookings at the resort, for our employees, and have stayed at here, for seasonal work, for the last 15 years. When I phoned reception to clarify some costing and invoicing, I received a few short sharp answers and was told "I really need to leave you now as I am dealing with check outs and am really busy, OK". No offer of " may I take your number and call you back" or "apologies, but this is a really busy time, perhaps if you have further questions, you could email them through for clarification". The 'customer service' offered by reception staff at this resort is severely lacking.

Friendly & helpful. I wish their more affordable cabins had better disability access & that there were disability-friendly showers.

Have visited previously, so an easy choice. A well presented park with all that was necessary for the short lockdown. Highly recommend.

Great park. Clean amenities. Good pool and facilities for kids. Food is ok, but better than what you'll get at most caravan parks.

Dinner was definitely 5 star! Ill be coming to dine more often.
The room I'll give 4 stars, it's clean and has a good amount of space, great lighting and everything you could ask for. The spa is smaller then I'd hoped BUT the price is very competitive for a spa room. The atmosphere of the pool bar from our balcony is great we can be a part of it while hanging back in our own space.
The office staff are lovely and down to earth they get five stars.
Ill be back!

We have been in Free Spirit Caravan park in Darwin since early May, part of the park is now dog friendly, they are not to be walked around the park, on 2 occasions the same dog has been in the pool area and been around the camp kitchen. People arrived today and are in a no dog area, rang the office and nothing has been done about it. We pay good money to come here and should not have to put up with people not doing the right thing. Also the washing machine down where we are has worked for 1 day, still no machine here, the other laundry out of 4 machines only 2 work. This park has gone to the dogs pardon the pun.

A nice family friendly place. We had a cabin overlooking the pool. The cabin was clean and tidy. The meals at the pub were ok. Live music each night. Would stay here again

A very nice park, nice and green plenty of shade, very quite and relaxing, enjoyed our stay after our long dusty travels, staff where very friendly, amenities clean and tidy and not far from anything

Really enjoyed being at FreeSpirit and intending to stay again on another trip. Facilities were well maintained and several pools to select from including one at the on-site Tavern.

Great dog friendly park. Three pools to choose from and an awesome poolside bar. Had a great shady spot to protect from the direct sunlight.

Very unorganised. Food was very sub par. Out of the whole table all the salads were terrible. The chef might need to go back and look at what medium rare is.

Food was good but expensive the 15 person platter would have a at least 15 prawns ECT. The pool is like soup. A shade over part of the pool would make it much more pleasant.

Family rooms are run down. Noisy air-conditioners (all 3) and leaking bathroom taps. Its ok for a quick getaway but not value for money.

These guys are fantastic. I travel there with large groups and they are always so accommodating. Cabins always clean and great atmosphere around the main pool and bar. But my favourite would have to be there $2 pancakes. Yummy

Clean space for my caravan. Clear instructions and direction to the allocated lot. Nice slab so my kids won't bring mud/sand into the caravan.

We didn't stay to eat as the garden sprinklers came on and disturbed heaps of sandflies, that attacked us in the outdoor all fresco dining area. We had no choice but to leave.

Good service. AC was on when we arrived at our cabin. Lovely after a long hot drive. Bistro was great value and a couple of free drink cards as well
