Darwin FreeSpirit Resort

Can't even take a bowl of chips & chessy garlic bread into the gaming lounge, apparently that's classed as a main meal.
Althought it clearly states main meals on the door flyer says nothing about advertisers, educate your staff $20 wasted on food won't be recommending the ppace to anyone let alone locals.

Great place to stay, have stayed there twice on our travels, staff friendly and very helpful, food great, just needs a bit of minor maintenance as some of the taps in the ablutions don't work, also a few of the trees need dead branches removing

Yeah, unfortunately, the usual corporate owned standards. Couldn't believe that the WiFi wasn't free. We all got crook from the pool and the locals asking for money every day was a bit much. The bones of the place ate great, just a shame its not polished.

Booked in months ago as a group of 3 caravans then they double booked the sites and now we are all scattered across the park great way to ruin the last week of our long holiday will not come back and book here service terrible from front office do not recommend here if you are travelling in a group alot of great other parks that go out of there way to help not here

We only stayed one night, bit it was good. Had a swim in the lovely pool and also went to Happy Hour and dinner at the Restaurant.

I love going to this place every Thursday because my favorite singer, MIA GROSSER plays guitar and sings for 3 hours. The atmosphere is extremely good with the swimming pool and a mix of tourists and locals. The resort caters for caravans and campers. They also have cabins.

19 mins from Darwin and 6 mins to shopping centres. This is a beautiful looking resort that is clean, there is a slight smell at certain locations but it's a smell from over the fence, and I've been told that some kids do like to "over play" with frogs and lizards which makes sense of the smells.

Campers, there is green grass and lots of shade and easy access to pools and bathrooms.

Its very kid safe, there are cars/vans ect driving but everyone drives at a slow walk like pace.

Front staff is lovely and the bar staff are comical and fun.

This will definitely be my idea of location again when in Darwin.

Awesome location. Staff were only to happen to accommodate when we upgraded from a camp site to a cabin. Clean facilities and friendly staff.

Have stayed here several times in 3 different types of accommodation. Always very clean and comfy rooms.
Restaurant/Bar onsite is also good. Pool right next to bar is awesome!

Little Gem this place, spent last couple days here enjoyed the live music and fell in love with the food.:)

Couldn't have been happier with the service we received from the staff. We called this place home whilst relocating from Vic and finding a place in Darwin. Facilities were clean and all staff were lovely. Good food at the bar and great pool area!

Nice facilities and awesome meals but I was not informed that my security deposit was not being refunded.

Every was OK except the fact we had no hot water, then they tell us the sent out a small the day we arrived which was useless

If i could give a 0 out of 5 stars I would. Darwin free spirit resort offer lovely accommodation, however the staff and management could really use an upgrade on there customer service skills or a change over of staff as their attitude towards customers is disgustingly fowl.the way guest get spoken to is absolutely atrocious, accusations on not paying rent or bond when it has been paid.managers nor staff do not know how to communicate with each other, nor not informing long term guest about certain things like when a manager leaves and false advertisement as guest are told electricity is included with paying rent when that is not the case at all.very unprofessional in my opinion.

Best place to land during a lockdown every staff member happy & so helpful despite masks & humidity. Defs stay here next trip to Darwin

They advise 67 a night but that all depend on the season poor advertising giving s non updated price call first as it may very well be wrong.

We are travelling Australia and this park would have to be our favourite so far. Towing caravans the sites were lush and green (Yes grass!) We spent 14 nights here. Spotless amenities friendly staff. A convenient spot to base urself while exploring Darwin with a lot of shopping close by.

A big thank you to the staff in Reception and Cleaning for returning the items I left behind in our cabin. We have always enjoyed our stays at Free Spirit and look forward to returning real soon - can't wait to see the completed renovations!
