Darwin FreeSpirit Resort

Didn't really use much but the rooms. Was comfortable and clean. Was enough for the 2 x nights we stayed.
Pool was great the kids loved it.

Loved our stay here. 3 pools, a great bar, gaming room, keno, TVs, great food, entertainment and fantastic service. Special shout out to Julia in the bar! Thanks Julia!

We had the absolute pleasure of having our Wedding at the wonderful resort.
Want to thank all the amazing staff for everything they did for us over a full on week.
We were looked after so well, aswell as our guests!
Personal shoutout to the amazing and beautiful Jewel! She took over our wedding planning at quite a late stage, and she made our day absolutely perfect.

First impressions, I was greeted by overflowing rubbish bins.

I totally understand accidents happen ie. Burst water mains. Water was turned off to the park whilst guest and myself were showering. No notice was given no updates as to when the water was to be turned back on. I was stuck in the shower. I enquired about getting a bucket of water to rinse off. No bucket of water was supplied.

This was a terrible experience and I hope it was a one off but my family and I will not be revisiting this caravan park.

FreeSpirt was the best! Lots of people to make friends, petrol station next to the resort, stray cats living there (Friendly, except big ginger cat) and three pools.

What a great place to stay! I was impressed by the rooms - the bed was comfy! I spent an enjoyable time in the bar, where I had the NT Barra, must try! Also see Chris at the bar for a fantastic whisky - if you dare!

For a caravan it's ok if you have some shade, albeit their are higher tariff for shady spots. Has extra pools if you want to cool off which you will need from mid August when the park starts to get pretty hot.

Called to make a booking for a camp-site. Told them I had four dogs with Mr multiple times. They said no worries. Upon arrival after driving almost 7 hours they said its not allowed. Cancelled my booking. Only two reasons I believe they did this. Either they saw my colour and cancelled or someone overbooked the camping grounds. Overall, disgusting behavior. Lucky we call another park (Hidden Valley Caravan park) they accepted us for the time we were in Darwin. Just bad and disgusting service. Not to mention I had even pre paid my site. Geez. Avoid this place as they are very unreliable. That ain't the territory way.

Great family venue, the kids can swim while Mum and Dad have a relaxing beverage only meters away, great food, friendly staff and live music.what more could you ask for?

Daughter stayed here recently. We visited regularly. Great facilities, heaps for the kids. Good food. The pool could use some lighting at night. Would recommend it to anyone

I'm in heaven thanks to a few idiots last night that caused chaos near our room. We spoke to the staff this morning which have always been lovely kind and caring. A big thank you to Teagan at reception for upgrading us to a beautiful cabin for the rest of our stay. Very much appreciated and I'm glad because I love this resort.

Stayed 2 nights, aircon didn't work.hot as, sliding door to ensure kept falling off runner, was there for a 50th.great function area and had a ball dressing up

Good value, friendly staff, pool side bar, pokies, 2 additional pools, heaps of amenities, large sites, 24hr servo out the front the list goes on.

Can't beat it in my opinion

Yeah, unfortunately, the usual corporate owned standards. Couldn't believe that the WiFi wasn't free. We all got crook from the pool and the locals asking for money every day was a bit much. The bones of the place ate great, just a shame its not polished.

Super large spacious park and sites, amenities could definatly do with an update but always super clean.
Live music most afternoons/nights we have been down to the pool.
Top spot!

Nice place, everything as described. Some cold water and a bit more milk in the fridge would have been nice.

Caught up with a couple who I haven't seen in years. Caught up with them at the FreeSpirit, haven't been there for ages, good to see things haven't changed, grounds and gardens were well presented, staff were knowledgeable and courteous, ablutions were well maintained, still a pleasure to visit!
